Icloud not working on my windows7 32bit pc but it works on my laptop why??
hello friends,
i am having a pc running on windows 7 32bit on which i have installed the icloud control panel but my photos from photo stream wont sync with my pc.. what to do....on the other hand i have a laptop running on windows7 64 bit on which my icloud works perfectly fine.. i have tried uninstalling a multiple times but it doesnt help..Also my pc is hardwired to my internet and not on wifi but why should that make a difference... please suggest what to do and how to get my icloud running!!

Iphone 6 backup to iCloud not working
Initially I had the issue where my phone was restoring from iCloud for 2 weeks and never finished. I was unable to do the upgrade to 8.1 because of this, so I canceled the restore and tried to do a backup to iCloud. I let it run (Estimating time remaining...) for a long time, like 30 minutes or something. Each time I tried this it would error off saying it couldn't finish the operation. One time it said it was going to take 2 days to complete the backup, but then it errors off as just mentioned. So I did a google search for "iPhone 6 backup to iCloud not working" and found a link to the forums for the incessant restore issue, it said to do a manual backup through iTunes, then immediately do a restore, then do the upgrade to 8.1.
However, I still have the issue of the backup taking forever.
Anyone encounter this issue and find a fix?

request to post Icloud not working locations. for 2 days almost from Ventura CA. I think they are not being truthful about the percentage of folks affected!
and what's with the minimalist response? We're working on it for 2 days? You can do beter than that for exsisting loyal customers can't you?I just spoke to a Support person with Apple. I got the same answer, "We Don't Know", "but they are working on it...Blah, Blah. I too live in Ventura, and have been without email since yesterday approx. 3:00 pm.
The guy said, it's the same if you brought your computer into the shop. We have to determine if it's hardware, or software, then fix the problem.
Well, What about a BACK UP SERVER? No real answer to that one. Just, "Thanks, for your Patience."

Your question is a bit confusing. iCloud doesn't have anything to do with updating your apps. What is not working with your iCloud? What are you trying to do? What happens when you try? What error messages are you getting?

If you migrated your MobileMe account to iCloud you can continue to use your MobileMe Apple ID/login for iCloud. Also, I assume by "MobileMe app" you are referring to iDisk. If so, you can continue to use iDisk, and the iDisk app through June 30th. If you are having trouble getting iCloud to work, try deleting the account from your phone and adding it back.

I created an Apple ID using my ISP Email when I registered at the Store/Apple Support Communities/iTunes/Face Time or other portal and it does not work in iChat. Why Not ?
Answer:-
For a Name to work in iChat it has to be an Valid AIM screen Name.
Only Apple IDs from the @mac.com ending names registered here and the Mobileme (@Me.com ending) names are Valid with the AIM service as well as being Apple IDs
(I am still working on info about registering with iCloud at the moment but if this does give you an @Me.com email it may well be a valid AIM name as well)
NOTES:-
The @mac.com page works by linking an external (Non Apple) email with a @mac.com name.
This External Email cannot be one linked to an Existing Apple ID (you have to use a second email or register at AIM )
The options at AIM are to use your existing email or create new name and link the existing only for Password recovery
MobileMe (@me.com ending names) were valid Emails addresses, Apple IDs AND a Valid AIM Screen Name
@mac.com names look like emails but are only Apple IDs and iChat/AIM Valid Screen Names.
The AIM registration page seems to be pushing you to register [email protected] This is relatively new and I have not followed through the pages to find out if it a valid AIM email (Previously you could register a name without an @whatever.com suffix)

So I have my current [email protected] email in iChat as I thought as I had linked that to an Apple ID it was a Valid iChat Name. It keeps coming up with a UserName or Password Invalid message. What do I do next ?
Answer:-
Open iChat
Go to the Menu under the iChat name in the Menu Bar and then Preferences and then Accounts in the new window.
Commonly written as iChat > Preferences > Accounts as directions/actions to take.
If it displays with a Yellow running name in the list you have a choice.
Either register it at AIM (I would use a different password to the ISP Login) and then change the password only in iChat (It may take you to confirm any Confirmation email from AIM first) in iChat > Preferences > Accounts
Or you register a new Name at AIM (Or at @mac.com) and enter that (details below)
If you have a Blue Globe name (@mac.com) that will not Login the chances are that it the password that is the issue.
Apple lets you create longer passwords than can be used with the AIM Servers.
Change the Password at iForgot to no more than 16 characters.
Then change the password in iChat as details above.
Adding a new Account/Screen Name in iChat (that is valid with the AIM servers)
Open iChat if not launched.
Go to iChat Menu > Preferences > Accounts
Click the Add ( + ) Button at the bottom of the list.
Choose in the top item drop down either @Mac.com or AIM depending on what you registered
Add the name (with @mac.com the software will add the @mac.com bit)
Add in the password. (If you don't add it now iChat will ask you each time you open it)
Click Done.
The Buddy List should open (New Window)
The Accounts part of the Preferences should now have the new name and you should be looking at the details.
You can add something in the Description line which will then title the Buddy List (Useful when you have two or more names) and make it show up as that in the iChat Menu > Accounts and the Window Menu of iChat when logged in.
You can then highlight any other Account/Screen Name you don't want to use and use the Minus ( - ) Button to delete it.

Its really strange that i am using my installtion disk first time and it has no scratch but its not working. now I guess I have to replace new DVD with this one.

The issue seems similar to that in the first box though it would be nice to have the complete error message. Tearing out all iTunes components and reinstalling as given in the second box should resolve.

It sounds like you are unable to unlock your phone because you cannot use the screen, and you need to back up your phone. I recommend these steps from the article named:
iOS: Forgotten passcode or device disabled after entering wrong passcode

Connect the device to the computer with which you normally sync and open iTunes.
Note: If iTunes asks you to enter the passcode, try another computer that you have synced with. Otherwise, go to "If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer" section below.
If the device is still disabled, or if iTunes does not automatically sync your device, sync the device with iTunes.
When the backup and sync is complete, restore your device.

I've downloaded my Muse apps on my laptop but the shortcut didn't created and it seems not working for my laptop.
I found out the Muse requires that the minimum process is 2.33GHz but my windows 7 32 bit laptop is 2.20GHz.
Is this the reason why Muse doesn't work on my laptop?Nothing to do with your processor speed. Probably something else, but without exact system information nobody can say anything.
