ICloud on my mac is asking for my Apple ID/icloud password daily?

iCloud on my mac is asking for my Apple ID/icloud password daily; I keep checking box to add to my key chain, but it asks me daily, sometimes multiple times a day. Meanwhile, icloud is working. I put the password in, sometimes multiple times, and finally it accepts it. Does anyone have the same problem?

I had this problem for much of last week. It was annoying.
I wish I could say it gets better, but in my case, it got much worse.
I'm unable to access mail at all. I'm entirely unable to login to my iCloud mail account - from Mail.app, or from any client on my machine (Thunderbird, Opera's mail, etc...)
Mail still works on my iPhone, but that's about it.
I've tried deleting the account, and then re-adding it. The problem is attempting to re-add the account results in either Mail.app or the control panel crashing immediately.

Just to clarify, iOS is the operating system for iOS based devices such as the iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad.

Again, this only affects you if someone *redownloaded* content with a different ID. In my case, I emailed iTunes Store support, explained the situation, and they reset the counter. I recommend you try the same
If you read discussion boards, this is a significant change from a year ago, when Apple told people in the same situation to go f&$# themselves. Clearly it's dawning on them that this is a stupid policy, and my guess is if people keep complaining they'll change it to something more reasonable. Remember, it wasn't that long ago you couldn't re-download content at all.
Apple can't really afford to play hardball on this. Sure, the hardcore fanboys will always say "Thank you sir, may I have another" whatever Apple throws at them, but the rest of us will just switch to Amazon, which has none of these restrictions.

The previous user needs to do this, or the iPad can't be used. If the person selling it is not the previous user, the iPad may be stolen.

That is the Activation Lock
There no way around that without the previous owner's AppleID and password.
It is totally worthless to you. Return it an get your money back.

but you still need to set it up on a Mac or iOS device, "Note: To create an iCloud account you need an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5 or later, or a Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later."

HT1766 I reset my ipad then tried to restore it with my icloud backup. it asked for my apple id and password. I knew my password but could not remember the apple id. so I asked the dialogue to retreive it but it asked me to reset my password. now i can't

i had problems with it being very slow even thought I deleted all my music and pics and even a lot of apps so I figured I'd reset it and restore from the backup I have on iTunes. but after aksing for my apple id and then being forced to change my password, it also asked me to associate an email with the account.after all that when I try to restore it says it has a problem. I can't remember the exact message I get.
I set it up as a new ipad thinking I'd try and use iTunes to retrieve it. but it doesn't look like I can do it that way either.haven't synced with a my laptop in a while.

Assuming that you've got the relevant iOS version on the iPad, then you can change it from a 15 minute period during which it doesn't need to be re-entered to immediately via Settings > General > Restrictions > Require Password

When I open some installed apps on my iPhone 5c, I am asked for my Apple ID and password.

This constantly happens. I've tried a few methods already, including deauthorizing+authorizing, signing out of apple id > resetting > signing back in (which is a temporary fix and actually worked for SOME apps). This just started happening tonight and I can't think of any reason why it would. HELP PLEASE, this is causing an irritation.
I also noticed that it only happens to some apps that I installed, not the ones that were already in the phone.

My iPhone is only a week old and most of the apps that I have recently installed have already been previously installed on my Apple ID therefore entering the password was not necessary.
My first problem was frustrating me so much I decided to perform a reset which deletes all the data on my phone. I redownloaded my apps and checked to see if the problem was fixed by opening up random apps but it still isn't fixed.

TS1398 I can get on the Internet and other apps but when I try to get into my FaceTime or messages it asks for my apple ID and password. After a minute it says "could not sign in. Please check network connection and try again." I'm lost as what to do.

Macs are asking for user and pass for network printers.

I have a network of 70 Macs. Some are 10.4 but most are 10.5. In the last week some of the Macs have asked for the admin username and password to print to a network printer that they have been printing to for the last year. Any ideas?
Note - they only ask once then they can print. This has happened in the past. Is there some policy that makes you re-enter the admin info for security? The password did not change.

No idea how many this is happening to, but it sounds like the Keychain is not being read correctly after a login, or have any user passwords been changed?

I would be very careful about email asking for your Apple ID and password. These are some of the Official Apple email addresses that would contact you:

These email are not to be replied to at all and if the email you receive asks you to reply or has a link that doesn't go the Apple.com or iCloud.com domains, then they are definitely fake.
