ICloud on my PC states that photo stream not enabled

Why does my PC iCloud state that photos are not enabled

Do you have it turned on in the iCloud Control Panel on your PC?
We need a little more information if that is not it.
Cheers,

    Hi..
Try deselecting the box next to:   Automatic Import
in iPhone > Preferences > Photo Stream
Then try deselecting Photo Stream in System Preferences > iClould then reselect to reset.

  • TS4403 photo stream not enabled

I have tried to enable photo stream on my PC running Windows 7, but everytime I return to the photo stream folder on the Pc, no pictures are availalbe and I get a message saying "Photo Stream is not Enabled"  "Sign in to Icloud to view Photo Stream."
I am signed into Icloud and my calendars are synching.  Every time I open the iCloud control panel the Photo Stream radio button is unchecked.  I then select Photo Stream again and hit apply, but nothing happens.
    Any ideas or help?
    Thanks

Exactly the same symptoms.  Somebody must know what the problem is!

Photo stream photos can only be viewed on an iOS device or computer, they cannot be viewed at iCloud.com, if that's what you're trying to do.

  • Photos in iphone 4s photo stream not sync all with macbook air in iCloud

why the photos in my iphone  photo stream not sync all to macbook via icloud?  Its like when i have 20 photos in iphone photo stream, then only 15 photos sync to macbook. Under one apple ID, do not understand why is that.  Is anybody else have the same issue or anyone can help out?

Exactly what suggestions have you followed and what was the result?
First, be sure that you are logged into the same iCloud account on both devices.

iCloud is not designed to "store" photos (as in long term storage).  iCloud can be used to sync photos from one device to another (photo stream) and to store a backup of the camera roll.  But that's pretty much it.
Camera roll is the group of all photos taken by the device (but not other photos synced to the device from another source).  Your extra storage on icloud will do you no good.  The recommended way of storing photos on a device is to sync them to a computer.
    So, your questions..
    1) You don't/can't
    2) No, because of 1.
    3) On a computer, deleting large groups of photos is relatively painless.  not so on a device.
    4) You can't access photos on iCloud because they can't be store in icloud.  You can't view/access photos in a backup on icloud unless you restore a backup to a device.

  • HT201317 i have recently installed icloud on my pc & have activated photo stream on my iphone.  only a portion of the photos from my phone are now available on my pc.  Why haven't they all transferred over?

When you turn on photo stream on a device that is the source of photos, only the photos you take in the future will sync to the stream, not the photos currently in the camera roll.
When you turn on photo stream on a device or computer that will receive photos from other devices, only the photos that have been on the servers for the past 30 days will sync, all older photos have been deleted from the servers.
To sync camera roll photos that weren't part of photo stream, you need to sync them manually using itunes.

    mlvov,
I did as you said and went to the icloud control panel on my Windows 8 Laptop to be sure I was looking at the correct folder for my photo stream.  All my "shared" albulms pushed to my Laptop and are up-to-date with the exception of the "photostream" album. If I create a "shared stream album" and place photo's in it on the phone; I can see the photos on my laptop. I dont get it. I had a iphone 4s and had zero isues and now with my new nifty iPhone 5s it doesent work.
What am I not doing correctly.
    Thanks,
    iPhone, 5s, iOS 7.0.2

Enable PhotoStream in iCloud first, then add the photos to PhotoStream in iCloud. Of course, you will need PhotoStream also enabled on your other devices also in order to view them.

Welcome to the Apple Community Hamza.
Firstly, photo stream doesn't save videos, secondly, it may not have all your photos saved in it, it only keeps photos for 30 days.
Back up your photos to a computer or online photo storage facility, before deleting them from your phone.

  • Photo stream not working after upgrading to maverick please help?

have upgraded to Maverick from osx lion
    sooo much trouble ......memory low
    photo stream not working
    everything slow
    any ideas?

On your Mac disable Photo Stream in the System/iCloud preference pane
and in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane.
Reboot and reenable both respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.

  • Photo Stream not working on my Mac since upgrade to Mountain Lion

I've noticed that Photo Stream isn't downloading new photos that I've taken on my iPhone since I upgraded to Mountain Lion. My iPad is syncing just fine. I've tried both iPhoto and Aperture on my Mac, neither seem to be receiving new photos in the stream. Also, I deleted a bunch of photos from my stream inside Aperture, those deletes haven't propagated to my other iOS devices.
Anyone else experiencing this issue? Is there is a known workaround?

I should've tried this before posting: In iCloud preferences (in System Preferences), I turned off Photo Stream and then turned it back on again. It now appears to be working.

  • Why do videos from a shared photo stream not appear in iPhoto?

why do videos from a shared photo stream not appear in iPhoto?  Within iMovie, it appears as though videos can be imported from the iPhoto library.  However, within iPhoto there are no videos that appear within the Library.  Is it possible to import photos into iPhoto from a shared photo stream?  if not, how can videos be imported into iPhoto?
