Icloud on snow leopard... why not? if a PC user can use it, why I can't on my Snow Leopard?

I wonder why a PC user can use iCloud on his PC... and a Mac user can't use iCloud on Snow Leopard... I'm not talking about use it on Tiger or Jaguar... I'm talking about Snow Leopard!!!!
I think you must do something, for the all real Mac user who can't upgrade every time to the latest version.
How you didn't think that there are ppl who work with Mac and not only kill the time like the switchers

The kinds of things that security updates on Mac OS X has required tweeks for have been just that, tweeks in comparison.

My Early 2011 17" MacBook Pro is only 1 year old, but in a few months my 10.6 operating system will become insecure. This is stupid for a $3500 machine!
Sure I could update to 10.7 or 10.8 (waiting for 10.8 actually) but lets say I'm the 90% of the average Apple customers who only run Software Update AT BEST and just use their machine like they do cars, put the gas in and go? Never doing the maintainence?
Is it right for Apple to deny all these users essential security updates? Especially given those links above of the quantiity involved of the patches?
Is it right for Apple to leverage security as a means to force pre-mature hardware turnover?
Apple is a big company and they need to think responsibly and support their OS versions for a proper amount of time.

Everytime I try to use FF, dozens of pop ups come up saying FF wants to use various Fuji and Fusi fonts. Nothing I do seems to stop these popups and it takes me 10 minutes before I can use FF. why does this happen; how can I stop it.

The specific message runs something like this: Firefox wants to use Fuji Extended Bod Italic on the volume WD startup. It is not installed. Allow Firefox to use it?

Much of the OP sounds like frustration over devices providing capabilities the poster *thinks* they should have.

You can only share photos, by Bluetooth, iPhone-to-iPhone, using one of the peer-to-peer photo sharing apps in the app store. Both phones have to be using the app.
File transfer, by Bluetooth, has never been supported on any iPhone.

Extract panel does not show in Dreamweaver CC 2014 - using Mac - Why?

It is odd - as I used the Extract workspace, the Extract panel does not show - not even if I try opening it via Window -> Extract.
I have updated my Dreamweaver 2014 to the most recent version.

Not able to restrict users from using SU01

Hi ALL,
We are working on roles related to SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR.
The role has been given a transaction SU01D and not SU01.
But the users are able to enter into SU01 through SUIM.
I will illustrate this situation more:
SUIM->USERS->BY LOGON DATE AND PASSWORD CHANGE
Then I entered the user id.Executed.
From the result, I was able to enter into su01 .i.e was able to use the change button of su01.
Please tell me how do I restrict this situation.?

Access to user administration is not only limited to SU01.

Whether the user can complete the transaction is a different story... for that you need to use the application authorization objects (S_USER* objects are a good start - see transaction SU21 for more infos on the application security concept for these objects)

PS: A troublesom object is S_USER_GRP, because it is important. When the user ID does not have a user group assigned, then the effectivness of this authorization object is weak, which can impact your security (depending on the access of the user without an authorization group)...

I have set my home page but the "drag this icon to the home symbol to set your home page" box will NOT go away each time I use Firefox. How can I get rid of it now that I've done what it wanted?

HT1338 why is my macbook freezing when i use youtube and how can i fix it

Everytime I use anything besides Facebook on the internet my screen goes black and the noise skips or repeats itself and I have to press the power button and reboot. It happens probably 20 times a day and I took it to a genius appointment and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Do I need to update my software or is it a virus or internal problem?
