Icloud outlook 2010 addin unloaded
I am using a windows desktop and have an iphone and an ipad. The tasks have not been synching. I removed the icloud program and reinstalled three times. There used to be a refresh button at the top of the outlook screen which has disappeared. I went to the addins and checked the box for icloud Outlook addin - nothing happens. it says at the bottom the location of the addin in program files but load behavior: unloaded. Can anyone please help
Just figured out...
Go to Regedit and set
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\Apple.DAV.Addin]
And set
"LoadBehavior" to 3 (I just copy another addin where load behavior was Load on startup)

Problems setting up iCloud & Outlook 2010
Hi,
I have just installed Outlook 2010 & am trying to set it up to work with iCloud. When I tick the boxes for Calendar & Contacts on the iCloud control panel & click apply it starts the set up process, but part way through I get an error message saying it can't set up due to an unexpected error. If I click cancel it leaves the boxes ticked, but iCloud does not appear in Outlook. If I click try again the iCloud control panel just constantly shows 'setting up' next to contacts & calendars. The only way to then stop it is using Task Manger. I did this before & it wiped out all my Outlook Contacts & Calander entries (fortunately I was able to get them back from my iphone using itunes).
I have tried uninstalling / reinstalling the icloud control panel, & have also tried running 'Repair' on the Office 2010 setup, but still get the same problem.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
(PS I'm using Vista 64bit)Hi,
I managed to get it working by doing Contacts & Calendar separately.
So, I turned Contacts on in the iCloud control panel leaving Calendar off, it did the setup correctly, then I turned Calendar on as well in the iCloud control panel & again it did the setup correctly.
Hope this helps you.
I have discovered that iCloud & Outlook doesn't work quite as well as I'd like it to - Outlook doesn't show any appointments from the iCloud calendar in the To-do bar (an Outlook problem) & I've had some problems with the categories I'd given some Contacts (not sure if the problem is in Outlook or the iCloud, but although the categories appeared, filtering based on them didn't seem to). -
ICloud , Outlook 2010 and Windows 8 synchronization issues
Everything was working fine under Windows 7. Outlook 2010 and IPad Contacts and Calendar were syncing perfectly. Once Windows 8 was installed problems arose. If I entered or updated a Contact or Calendar item in Outlook 2010 it synced perfectly with iCloud and the IPad. However, if I entered data for a Contact or Calendar item on the IPad, it found its way to iCloud but did not update the item on Outlook. I've tried reistalling iCloud software with no success. Any ideas???
I have exactly the same problem with Windows 7. The Sent folder has lots in it on icloud and my other devices, but is empty on the Outlook client on my PC. The sent folder is a "special" foder for iMap and is permenantly selected for syncing.
I switched off the iCloud mail in the control panel and then added it again with now luck.

Installing iCloud, Outlook 2010, setting up contacts sync - any tips?
Last time I tried this 2 years ago, icloud sucked all my contacts out of Outlook and I had to go through big hoops to back it out. Any tips on how to do it now? I'm apprehensive about trying it again. I have a group of contacts in outlook "iPhone contacts" and I want to only sync them to iCloud, not ALL my contacts. IS there a way to control this?
Figured it out !
I finally got calendar and contact syncing to work with Outlook 2010. See the original post for a description of the problem. After a long walk to clear my head and consider options, I did the following:
- Close Outlook
- From Windows Control Panel - Uninstall the MobileMe and iCloud apps
- Restart the system
- Go to Apple web site - Download and re-install iCloud control panel
- Open iCloud control panel and configure iCloud to sync Mail, Calendar, Contacts
- Open Outlook, iCloud downloaded Contact and Calendar info
This worked for me...good luck to others who are having similar problems. -
Sent items not syncing with icloud, Outlook 2010 on Windows 8 64bit pc
upgraded work pc to windows 8 in the hope of resolving sync issues. Calanders and Contacts seems fine as does mail in general but sent items from outlook not syncin

How can I disable Outlook 2010 addins using Group Policy
I have downloaded and imported the templates to enable me to set a GPO for disabling Outlook addins, but I am confused about how I disable things like the SharePoint addins (we do not use SharePoint so this is not needed). I have found several
posts saying to do this via a registry change, which I can easily do via GPO, but it does not say how to add keys for the different addins.
Does anyone have details of what I need to add into the registry or have a link to somewhere that gives a list of common ones I can use?Hi,
>>Does anyone have details of what I need to add into the registry or have a link to somewhere that gives a list of common ones I can use?
After searching around, I think the following article may give us some tips about how to manage application-level add-ins. To disable a specific add-in, we can try to set the value of
LoadBehavior entry to 0 in the add-in's corresponding registry key. The registry key path for a specific add-in is as follows:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\application name\Addins\add-in ID
Registry Entries for Application-Level Add-Ins
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/vstudio/bb386106.aspx#LoadBehavior
If this doesn't help, in order to get better help, it's recommended that we ask for suggestions in the following Outlook or SharePoint forums.

Sync problems with iCloud & Outlook 2010?
I am having sync problems with Outlook. Sync seems to cause outlook to crash, run boggy, etc. Tried Code Two software to sync which only made thing worse. Any ideas?
Another way to put it would be: What is the optimal combination when you have a Windows PC running Outlook on one hand, and want to sync contact and calendar information with your iPhone over the Internet?
Maybe I should ask, what is the least painful way of doing this?
Is it Gmail+Outlook+some add on?
Outlook.com + Outlook?
Or something else? -

Why won't iCloud work with Outlook 2010?
I am using Outlook (Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010) on a Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit Operating System. Until recently iCloud worked really well - I use it mainly for the calendar functionality. However, following an Outlook crash it has been playing up. I have uninstalled it and re-installed it multiple times with no joy. The issue is this...
iCloud appears to work on the PC and I am signed in. However, the iCloud add-in will not load in Outlook but it does appear there. When I select Options > Add-Ins and then click Go on the COM Add-ins management option, the "iCloud Outlook Add-in" appears unchecked in the list. The location is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Internet Services\APLZOD32.dll" and the load behaviour is "Unloaded". Every time I check the box and hit OK I feel confident it will work, but nothing happens and each time I re-load Outlook and go back into the add-ins window the iCloud add-in is unchecked.
Why is this happening now when it used to work fine?
How do I fix it?
Thanks in advanceHi Stu.
No you are not the only one having this problem. I am also having it.
I stumbled with your question (and comments) and started testing on my outlook.
Finally I got it solved (apparently) by turning on both the itunes outlook addin and the icloud complement for outlook.¿Why does outlook turns them off? I really do not know
Try it, maybe we have solved it…
Thanks for your help -
I can't get the iCloud Contacts and Calendar folders to appear in Outlook 2010 using the iCloud Control Panel. Also the datafile share which ends in .aplzod is not created in Outlook. The Contacts and Calendar are sent to iCloud (verified on iCloud.com) but the iCloud folders are not created in Outlook in the Contacts and Calendar navigation panes. I get a message toward the end of the sync process indicating that there was an unspecified error. I'm using the newest version of the iCloud Control Panel, the 32 bit version of Outlook 2010, Windows 7 64 bit, an iPhone 3GS, and the latest version of iTunes. Any ideas how to complete the sync process to the end?
Pretty much the same for me: Windows 7 64-bit, Outlook 2010, iCloud Control Panel 1.0.1, iPhone 3GS. Error report at end of setup process is shown below, and has been emailed. Any help please?

Outlook 2010 SP1 Sync with the iCloud
Problem: Contacts do not sync. Calendar Items sync. They do not appear in iCloud.com or on my Iphone.
It appears items sync from the Iphone to the iCloud and to Outlook. The problem is items syncing from Outlook to the iCloud.
I rebooted the PC thinking it migh jump start the sync from Outlook to the iCloud.
I also tried unchecking Contacts in iCloud PC Control Panel, applied the change and then reverted the change hoping that woud jump start the sync from Outlook.
There are no errors.
iCloud Control Panel is installed
Windows 7 64 bit version SP1
Outlook 2010 Sp1is install (32 bit Version)
Outlook Itunes Addin is running
Outlook iCloud Addin is running
Outlook PST Maintenance
PST was compacted
Ran ScanPST with fix option to eliminate any PST issues
Itunes Configuration Information
Itunes is not configured to sync Contacts or Calendar
iCloud Windows Control Panel
Is set to sync Contacts and Calendar
Iphone 4 is set to sync with iCloud.
Any ideas would be appreciatedfrandango,
I had the 3 calendar issue but through trial and error figured it out. I would not want to say which of the three is syncing to iCloud but I can offer this.
It has to be in the iCloud Folder.
I would add an event, wait for a sync and look on your iphone etc to see if its there. Then you'd know which calendar is yours.
Also it is possible you have 2 calendars in iCloud. This function is supported. If one looks in the upper corner of their calendar on their device (ipad etc) there is a button to choose which calendars are displayed. So you could be overlaying calendars on your device.
In my case I don't need more than one calendar so I found which one was the one that had my events and deleted the other/s. I then renamed it a simple name "Calendar - iCloud"
I did the same for contacts, and tasks ("to do" list is now useless).
I left my notes in the default file, and checked sync through itunes.
I did this becaue the type of notes that iCloud creates are subpar in my opinion.
The default calendar is now not used by me. However this creates a lot of functionality issues with outlook. As the icloud data file is not the default the navigation bar buttons, defaults are still the original data file and useless. I did try and change my iCloud file to the default but it crashed the program and was a nightmare to return to a working condition. -
Icloud sync button has disappeared from Outlook 2010 any suggestions welcomed
Hi the handy sync symbol at the top of Outlook 2010 has dissappeared and Id really like it back!
Any suggestions please?
I have "Calendar from Icloud" box checked in Outlook and "Icloud" checked is this correct?
Thanks in advanceHi!
Just a few questions:
- What version of Outlook do you use?
- What version of DIS? I've found two different versions of oracle.com (the latest afaik is 8.2.0.959)
- Is the addin enabled?
There are also some diagnostics available in DIS. For the moment I can't remember how to enable them, but Oracle Support can provide you with this info.

2. Microsoft Outlook: Accepted Safe Mode action : Schwerwiegender Fehler in Outlook beim icloud outlook addin-Add-In.
Outlook beenden.
Den Windows-Registry-Editor »regedit.exe« starten.
»HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\<Version*>\Outlook\Office Explorer« öffnen.
Den Schlüssel mit dem Namen »Frame« löschen.
Outlook starten!
Die Outlook-GUI ist wieder da!
* bei mir war die Version »14.0«, also »HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Office Explorer« -
Cannot send email from Outlook 2010 without disabling iCloud Outlook Add-in
I have seen a few discussions on this but no answers. I have bought a new PC. Installed Outlook 2010 and iCloud latest version 3. All seems to work fine but emails go into the Outbox and dont get any further. If I remove the iCloud Outlook Add-in then I can send my emails but of course now cannot see my contacts nor my calendar! So it's one or the other and I'm currently going backwards and forwards between each. I have uninstalled and gone back to an earlier version 2 of iCloud with no success, same problem. I have uninstalled that and now reinstalled version 3. The problem remains. Can you advise on how to solve this please?
Then it has nothing to do with iCloud, contact Bell and if they can't help, Microsoft

Hi,
It looks like iCloud has a problem with Outlook 2010 - when syncing calendars. I repeatedly get the rather vague error message above when I launch the set-up, then the iCloud control panel hangs. If I wait long enough I get "The operation could not be completed".
Anyone else getting this? Seems to work find for contacts, BTW.
CodfishpieHi,
This was happening to me with Outlook 2007 and the iCloud Control Panel (CP). I spent days trying to get it sorted out and as usual once it worked I wasn't completely sure what exactly fixed it.
This is what I did:
1. Ensured Outlook 2007 was completely up to date with Windows Update.
2. Unchecked everything in iCloud CP.
3. Logged out of iCloud CP and when asked I removed all contacts, calendars on my PC.
4. Uninstalled iCloud CP.
5. Redownloaded and reinstalled iCloud CP.
6. Logged into iCloud via iCloud CP.
7. Checked Mail, Contacts and Calendars.
8. Didn't get the error message and now I can see all my contacts and calendar stuff from iCloud in Outlook 2007.
HTH.
