ICloud password resetting

Every couple of days my iCloud password says its incorrect and needs resetting. I reset the password to a new one but then a few days later or even a few hours later it's asks for my password again and I have to reset it again, anyone had the same issue?!

You may want to save your photo stream photos to your camera roll, then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide your password and choose Delete from My iPad when prompted, then sign back in. This deletes the account and iCloud data from your iPad, but not from iCloud. Your data will download back to your iPad when you sign back in.

Apple iCloud Password Reset

Hi,
I am having trouble trying to reset my icloud password on my icloud account (***********) This is the only way that I can contact an apple expert. I am hoping someone from the apple support can help me with this.
1. When I tried to reset through sending an email, it said that it has already sent me an email. BUT WHERE? it did not tell me what email it used to send the reset email. I forgot what email address i linked it to.
2. I tried authenticating using the security question but when it asked for my birthday I placaed there **********. (which is my real date of birth) and it was saying that it is the wrong password.
I am hoping someone from apple can tell me what email address it used to reset my password. You guys can email me at **********

Not receiving the iCloud password reset email

I am trying to assist a friend in retrieiving the information stored on his iCloud account via an iPhone that has since been broken
I've attempted to use the link several times to send an email to the Hotmail email address that is set-up as the iCloud user name but while I get the email sent confirmation, as yet no email has been received at this email address and I'm running out of suggestions as to how to help.
I also attempted to follow the security questions route to resetting the password but sadly failed at the first hurdle and I can only assume that his date of birth was originally entered incorrectly, as when I enter his actual birth date, I get an error message
I also thought that I might be able to access a password reset by using the same iCloud user name as his Apple ID, since with my own account, my Apple ID is the same as my iCloud user name but his iCloud user name is not recognised as an existing Apple ID
Any help or assistance would be most gratefully received as he's desperate to recover some photos etc that were uploaded to the iCloud from the broken iPhone and with him being somewhat technically illiterate, I appear to be the only person who can assist and without the password reset email being received at the Hotmail address which is the iCloud user name, I am totally flummoxed as to being able to offer any further assistance.
With my utmost thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to offer any sugggestions or advice in this bothersome matter

Thanks a million randers4 for taking the trouble to get back to me.
I will get my pal to come over when we've both time to sit down and foillow your advice (and the link). However, sadly I suspect that we might have a problem proving his identity to the satisfaction of the support team, as whenever I've tried to assist this mate in the past, the same issues have always arisen, where he's not got a clue as to usernames, passwords, security questions.
I presume he must have some sort of underlying paranoia about revealing any genuine information about himself online. This proves incredibly frustrating and I invariably end up tearing what's left of my hair out, in my efforts to resolve his myriad of technical queries and yet while I invariaby end up losing patience, tired of trying to drum it into him to write login details down, to keep them safe, or to only use answers that he knows he will remember, in light of everything that's come to light recently, in truth perhaps it's me who is the stupid one for freely giving up all my personal information online and it will eventually prove that he is most sensible for refusing to relinquish any genuine personal details about himself.
Then again, at least I am able to retrieve my iCloud photos!
Apologies for waffling on. Hopefully I can come back to say issue has been resolved, but I've an inkling I might have to return to enquire if there are any further options

When I submit a password reset request on iCloud.com the site does not deliver the password reset instructions to the email address. Apple, any ideas?

We're only users here, Apple does not participate.
Check your junk mail folder. Or perhaps the email that you originally defined for sending icloud resets to is no longer active.

I have a unique problem. Kindly consider the following points:
My yahoo email that i used to originally set up my icloud got hacked but i have been able to restore account now.
In the mean time, i was able to assign my device to new icloud account under a different email address.
My phone kept alerting me to enter the password for the first yahoo address.
I learned that i had to dissociate my device with the new icloud account so i have done that.
Now, i can't log into my icloud account using my original password and when i ask to reset the account nothing comes to my restored yahoo email ( not even to the spam).
How can i reset my icloud account using my original yahoo? Or i guess the million $ question is: how can i let apple just reset my email original account!

I can access my iTunes account without issue but have forgotten my password for iCloud, I have no access to the email address which is linked to iCloud any more. How can I reset my password for iCloud?

That's the thing - my Apple ID is one email address which I changed just prior to leaving last job which is fine, I didn't think to change iCloud email address and now have no access to the email address linked to iCloud. If I type in email address which I have no access to as my Apple ID and then start to answer questions, it advises all questions answered are incorrect, doesn't even accept my DOB as correct?? i am perplexed.

HI, I have two apple ids, Icloud is linked to my first one and has started asking me for a password everytime I want to download an app etc, it will not accept my password. I tried to reset it but I dont receive the verification emails. I tried doing it by using the security questions but it wont accept my date of birth stating its different , I dont get it. Can someone help me out please so I can download apps etc again.

It sounds like you have used at least two different Apple IDs in the past to buy apps. Apps are forever associated with the ID you used to buy them. When you change the itunes store ID on a device, then all apps purchased from another ID are no longer valid on your device.
The usual advice is to choose the ID that was used the most and stick with that. You'll have to buy the apps associated with the other ID again.

I forgot my password and when I attempt to reset it, Apple asks for my birthdate. That must be wrong. I've asked
Appled to send me the reset email several times and I don't get the reset email from Apple. It's not even in the byte bucket.

I've used my iTunes password for everything else Apple does and would like to use the same one for my iCloud.

Do the following:
Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).

Hi Gail it is a separate apple id used on my old iphone. I now have a new appleid and password which is functioning though the new phone is bringing up my old apple ID

If you don't know your password, don't know your security questions and don't have a rescue address or don't receive a reset email, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support.
