ICloud Photos not Appearing on Apple TV

I have created a number of photo streams using Aperture 3.5.1, and would like to access them on my Apple TV.  Unfortunately, when I navigate to the screensaver portion of my Apple TV, none of the photo streams I created appear in the Apple TV menu.  To the point, NONE of my photos appear.  I have logged into my Apple TV using my iTunes Apple ID which is different from the Apple ID I use for Mail and everything else.  My guess is that I cannot see the photos on my Apple TV as I would need to sign into my main Apple ID to do so.  Unfortunately, I need my iTunes Apple ID to access all of my video and music content.  Is there a work around for this?

That doesn't sound right to me, but that doesn't mean it isn't, when you set things up, does it look like this.
Which Apple TV do you have.

My music and movies are syncing properly to Apple TV; however my Photos are not.
I've restarted both the Apple TV and my iMac, but still no Photos on the Apple TV.  The entire category Photos has disappeared.

  • I changed my AppleID/Password and now am locked out of iCloud. iCloud says maximum number of free accounts have been activated. tried Settings, Mail etc but iCloud does not appear. I was going to delete it and start again.

Had to change Apple ID/Password recently now cannot access iCloud. In settings when tapping iC, log in screen appears with old ID and request for (old) password.
In Settings  Mail, Contacts etc iCloud does not appear. I was going to delete account.
Trying new ID/Password message appears "maximum no. of free accounts have been activated".
Using old ID/Password message apperas "you can,t sign in because account was disabled for security reasons ......reset password at iforgot.apple.com which i did.
    Can anybody help please??

    Hi,
I tried to log in to iCloud but a message appears telling me I "can't sign in because my account was disabled for security reasons....reset password at iforgot.apple.com". I don't know why this happened.
I reset both my Apple ID and password.
When I tap Settings iCloud is listed on the left side between General and Mail, Contacts etc.
Tapping iCloud brings up a log in screen for iCloud which shows my old Apple ID and requests the password. If I put the password in I get the message as above.
If I use the new Apple ID/Password I get the message "the maximum number of free accounts have been activated....
In settings there is no option to "Delete Account"
    Any suggestions??

My iCloud photos are available on Apple TV and iPhone but only habout half of them show up on my laptop (windoes 8). On my old laptop I could view all photos and download etc. I tried to trouble shoot using advice here but not I can't see any of them on my laptop.

Please try logging in with your current Apple ID here in order to test: https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/wa/directToSignIn?loc alang=en_US
If your new ID doesn't work try logging in with your old details as maybe the change didn't work as first thought?

  • Album artwork not appearing on Apple TV

Album artwork not appearing on Apple TV anyone with same problem or fix

Bilk you're not alone! No Album Art work will load on my Apple TV now, despite having artwork for ALL my albums, my iOS devices display the the artwork (iTunes Match) I live in the UK. (Virgin Media customer) I've had nothing but problems since the last 2 OS updates, I have 3rd and 2nd gen Apple TVs, both now have the same problems, I have done full restore on both devices, still doesn't work. I hope Apple fixes the software soon.

  • Photos not showing on Apple TV

What reson would there be for some photos not showing in apple TV?
    Ta

Yes, tried that but all that happened was that my Home Sharing although shown turned on on both Apple TV and iTunes did not allow me to connect to my Library, could access You Tube so WiFi connection O.K.. Tried switching Home Sharing off and then on again on Apple TV but that didn't access my Library so had to go back into iTunes on my Mac and switch off Home Sharing and switch it back on again there which then allowed me access to my Library. This resolved the problem as photos I had just taken were now viewable ( This however has happened before so not a new problem, suspect the router but as I am changing ISP soon, going to BT Infinity, hope that will solve that problem.)

  • Why do my photos not appear in icloud?

None of my photos appear in my icloud. When I open up the icloud on my PC, there isn't even a menu choice for photos.  I have the Photos option selected on both my iPhone and iPad, but the photos never upload to iCloud.  I am connected to WiFi as well.

    Hi Vwgirl18,
It sounds like there should be an option to enable Photo Stream on your PC.
    iCloud: My Photo Stream FAQ
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486
    PC:
Open the iCloud Control Panel for Windows and select the checkbox for Photos (or Photo Stream in iCloud Control Panel 2.x).
Click the Options button and make sure that My Photo Stream is on and adjust the settings.
    Click Apply when you're done.
Further down it discusses how to view them:
How do I view My Photo Stream?
PC using Windows 8.1: From the Start screen, click the down arrow in the lower-left corner, then click the iCloud Photos app.
PC using Windows 8: From the Start screen, select iCloud Photos (or Photo Stream in iCloud Control Panel 2.0 to 2.12).
PC using Windows 7: Click the Windows Start button, then click Pictures. Click iCloud Photos or Photo Stream under the Favorites menu in the panel on the left. Double-click My Photo Stream to view your photos.
    Take care,
    Nubz

  • Photos not appearing on the photo map on iPhone 6

    Hi,
I got a new iPhone 6 yesterday. I had until then been using the iPhone 5. When iOS 8 came out I had to delete a lot of photos from the iPhone 5 to get space for the update. I backed up all my photos on my Macbook. Yesterday I synced all of my photos onto my new iPhone 6.
A strange thing is that in the map function on the Photos app only the photos that were not synced (i.e. those that had remained on the iPhone 5 and were part of the iCloud backup) appear on the map. It seems that the "map info / gps coordinates" on the synced photos somehow have been lost. However in the Photos app the names of the places / towns where the photos were taken still appear (they were all taken with my iPhone 5) so there clearly is some gps coordinate information there. To make this even more confusing, YESTERDAY, right after syncing all these photos DID appear on the photos map, but this morning they do not (only the photos that were not synced do).
Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggested solutions? I really loved being able to see exactly where my holiday photos etc were taken, so I hope I have not lost this for the synced photos permanently.
    Many thanks,
    S

  • ICloud Photo not syncing + High CPU process (Win 8.1 pro)

This is a new persistent issue with my iCloud and I can't figure out how to fix it permanently because I was able to fix it few days ago, but issues return back a day later! So here's the full story...
I just received a new (AWESOME!!) Surface Pro 3 i5 256 GB tablet with Windows 8.1 professional. I installed iCloud on it as well as iTunes and Quicktime (the basics isn't it?). When setting up my iCloud account first, everything sync up correctly but after a few days (3-4 days), I notice than my Surface tablet are becoming pretty hot and making some fan noise (common Surface issue) when I didn't use it really. So I checked for a high-CPU process and I noticed than "iCloud Photo Stream Downloader" are stuck at 30-35% CPU for an hours ago. Moreover at this point I realized than my photos are not syncing for a few days. I fix the high-CPU process by rebooting, but my photo are still not syncing at all and after a few minutes after reboot, the "downloader" process stuck back to 30-35% and still not syncing!
So I first try some of the workaround found on the internet like sign out iCloud app, then kill all iCloud related process and delete folder %appdata%/Apple/Mediastream and reboot and sign in... same thing... after a few minutes, high-CPU usage + not syncing! I try to "repair" iCloud installation... same thing (high CPU + not syncing)... I uninstalled iCloud + reinstalled... same thing!
I finally fix the situation by uninstalling ALL Apple related software (iTunes, iCloud, Quicktime, Apple Soft Upd, Apple Mobile Sup, Apple App Sup, Bonjour, etc) and thereafter deleting all "Apple_xxxx" folders in %appdata% and also remove all registry keys from the Windows Registry related to Apple. Reboot then reinstall iTunes first and then run "Apple Soft Upd" to install automatically iCloud + Quicktime... then reboot, sign in and then the photo finally sync this time and no high-CPU process!
But a days later... High CPU + Fan noise on the tablet... so checked and the god **** "iCloud Photo Downloader" are again stuck at 30-35% and no more photo sync (I saw the old photos, but not the last day's photo are not sync).
Anybody experience this situation and know how to fix it PERMANENTLY? I checked at my Apple iCloud LOGS and the only thing I saw that can be suspicious is the last line of the log who's :
    [2472 @ Tue Nov 11 19:45:09 2014] [YSLog ApplePhotoStreamsDownloader.exe] defaults key ShouldLog in domain ApplePhotoStreamsDownloader.exe is (null)
    Please help!!

In fact I discovered later I have this issue on all my Windows computers... both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, both MACs (BootCamp) or true PC computers. Except only the Surface Pro 3 tablet seem to have the HIGH-CPU process issue, but all my other Windows PCs stopped syncing too after a few weeks or so.
I just build a BRAND NEW HP Pro Desktop computer running Windows 8.1 Professional and a few days later iCloud Photo stopped syncing too... this is the straw that broke the camel's back! This PC is brand new and no other software are installed except iCloud, iTunes, QuickTime and Microsoft Office 2013 (Office 365). PC is brand new (1 week old) and iCloud Photos sync is already broken!
I also have a few Windows 7 PCs at home (HTPCs on TVs) where iCloud Control Panel is installed and after looking at them, they stopped syncing too for a while (many months ago) but I didn't noticed it yet because I don't check photos often on them.
For now I just give up and disabled the iCloud Photo Sync completely on all my Windows PCs. It only sync between my two iPads, my two iPhones and my two Macs computer (MBPr + iMac 27") and that's it... that's sad, but I'm tired loosing my time with that crappy software!
PLEASE APPLE!! MAKE ICLOUD FOR WINDOWS BETTER!!

  • Photos not appearing correctly on 2nd mac

I maintain an iPhoto library in a shared folder on an iMac and my wife accesses it from a Macbook. We do not use iPhoto concurrently. Both macs are connected (wired) to an Airport Extreme. iPhoto behaves well on the iMac (where the library resides but when we try to access it from the Macbook the events appear correctly and the thumbnails as well. When we click on an individual photo it appears for one second and then the screen goes blank. This is not consistent - pictures from a Canon S3IS are OK. Pictures from a Nikon D3000 usually cause cause the problem. I suspect it is related to the higher resolution of the pictures, Any ideas? Thanks.

    Welcome to Apple Discussions Lancaster,
iPhoto has a built in sharing ability that allows you to share photos iPhoto 7.0 Help (iLife '08): Sharing your photos between computers on a network
Accessing the iPhoto Library package over a network connection using File Sharing is not something I would recommend. The shear amount of the data you are trying to push actively across the network combined with the fact that iPhoto was not designed to read a streaming iPhoto Library may be the cause of your issue.
    Consider the following instead:
    - Copy the Library to your other computer locally
    - Use the built in sharing feature in iPhoto
    - Use MobileMe to share images (I like this option less because it does not necessarily share a full quality image file. )
    Hope that helps
