Grazie

icloud: backup e photostream funzionano solo su WiFi. Pertanto, non dovete preoccuparvi di usare il tuo piano dati per questo.

I updated my daughter iPod touch.   Now the music states that it is on iCloud and can be accessed using WiFi or cellular.   I need to move the music back on the iPod so that she can listen to it without WiFi.   I tried to Restore backup but still does not work.   I tried to sync, still does not work.

Is the music in your iTunes library?
    Why can't you sync?
You said "Now the music states that it is on iCloud and can be accessed using WiFi or cellular."
    where does it state that?
Just redownload them from iCloud to the computer and the iPod by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

    Correct.
On an iOS device, new photos you take will be automatically uploaded to your photo stream when you leave the Camera app and are connected to Wi-Fi. Note: My Photo Stream does not push photos over cellular connections.

It's your choice. If you know that you will be away from wifi then you could download the music that you want to listen to so that it is available on your phone. If you do subscribe to Match and want to be able to access it via your carrier's network then you will also need to be an area where you get reception from your carrier.
There are also some wifi-enabled external drives that allow you to stream content to a device e.g. Seagate GoFlex Satellite

My wife and I have iPhones that backup to iCloud I upgraded my iPhone to iPhone 5 when I see stored from iCloud it restored all of my wife's phone data not mine how do I change it

You need to restore from your backup and not your wife's. You need to check if your backup is under the same or different apple id. If Id is the same you need to erase phone and find correct backup to restore from. If different you just need to use it at restore time.

  • How can I change the icloud id on my phone. my wife and I both use 1 acct. I would like to have a separate acct for my phone

I would like to create another ICloud acct under my apple id for my IPhone 4. My wife and I both have IPhone 4's and we are using the same acct. Please help

You can only create one iCloud account with your ID.  To create a new one, you will need a second Apple ID.  To migrate your data to a new iCloud account, first decide which iPhone will be keeping the current iCloud account.  On the one that will be changing accounts, if you have any photos in photo stream that are not in your camera roll or backed up somewhere else save these to your camera roll by opening the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tapping Edit, then tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share and tap Save to Camera Roll.
Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.  (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud.  The phone that will be keeping the account will not be effected by this.)  When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On My iPhone.  Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom).  Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge.  This will upload the data to the new account.
Finally, any data in your accounts that you don't want (such as your wife's contacts in your account, and vice versa), you will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete it.

  • My wife and I share an account , is there a way to put both our contact lists in our one iCloud account without merging them., My wife and I share an account , is there a way to put both our contact lists in our one iCloud account without merging them.

My wife and I both have iPhones and we share an apple ID. Is there a way to put both our contact list in the same iCloud without merging the lists.  We want to be able to use the same iCloud account because we share info .

    Welcome to the Apple community.
No, there is no way of maintaining two separate contact lists with one account. Ideally you should each have your own iCloud account, you can still share your info by allowing each other to log into the other's account as a secondary account at settings >mail, contact, calendars. You can choose which services you choose to share and which you don't. This way you could maintain separate contact lists but still share them.

  • Is there a way to have iCloud download both my and my wife's calendar on my iPhone and Mac?

My wife and I both have iMacs and iphones with the right software. She also has an iPad. It would be very helpful if there were a way for iCloud to download and update both her and my calendars on all of our Apple products. Is there a way to do this?If this is too difficult, is there a way we can just get my calendar on her iPad and have iCloud update it?

If you are both using the same iCloud account all your calendars will appear on all your devices.
If you are using separate iCloud accounts each of you should share the required calendars privately so the other can subscribe. Please see this page:
    http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mm6b1a9479
and expand 'Share a private calendar or reminder list with specific people'.

  • With the new iCloud i now get all my wife's contacts on my iPhone.  is there a way to get back ti just the contacts I had?

With the new iCloud I now get all of my wife's contacts on my iPhone.  Is there a way to restore just my old contacts to my phone?

Only if a backup of the iPhone with all that data on it exists.  If one does, restore the iPhone using that backup.

  • Contacts ... can iCloud contacts be viewed if no wifi or cell coverage?

I'm confused about iCloud.  Is there a local copy of ... Contacts, Calendars etc ... on my phone so the data is available if there is no wifi and I'm out of range with no cell coverage?

You're welcome.  And yes, the On My iPhone contacts would be a duplicate (redundant) list.  Also, you should back them up from time to time.  An easy way to do this is with the My Contacts Backup app (free if you have fewer than 500 contacts to back up).  The app will back up your contacts as a vCard attachment to an email that you can send to yourself.  Save the attachment on your computer.  If you ever need to restore them, you can email it back to your phone and tap the attachment to import them back to your phone.

  • Can't get iCloud mail on ios devices via wifi

Starting this afternoon, I can't get iCloud email on my wifi iPad. "Cannot get mail the connection to the server failed." Same thing on my iPhone. In order to get iCloud mail on my iPhone, I have to turn off wifi, and turn on Cellular Data.

Same problem on all my devices. No mail. haven’t received mail since this morning. All was working fine before. Deleted acct in mail preferences (lost all info and mailboxes) and still getting ‘The server returned the error: The server “p99-imap.mail.me.com” cannot be contacted on port 993″ also tried 143. Now I’ve lost all mailboxes and access to all iCloud mail data. ? Any ideas what’s up?

  • Can i setup a 2nd iCloud on a PC for my wifes Iphone

can i setup a 2nd iCloud on my PC to access my wifes iPhone 5 or is their another way to move her Photo Stream to the PC?

You could use one at once and keep switching between the two, but it would be rather messy. You can also add more than one @me mail address to mail. You could also use seperate user accounts for each iCloud account. If you tell us why you would want to have two iCloud accounts on one mac we might be able to give better advice.

  • So i lost my ipod, its signed into icloud and automatically connects to a wifi..but when i go onto 'find my ipod',  its saying i dont have a device connected with icloud? help?

    ugh

    lost/stolen
No app on the iPod is required.
    - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up or conbtinue to show off-line.
    - You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
    iCloud: Erase your device
    iCloud: Use Lost Mode
    - If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
    - There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.
    - Apple will do nothing without a court order
Reporting a lost or stolen Apple product
    - iOS: How to find the serial number, IMEI, MEID, CDN, and ICCID number
Note that it would only automatically connect to networks it previously connected to. Then it is unlikely it would find such a network

  • ICloud backup is locking up my wife's iPad3. She cannot even unlock it or close it down. How do I cancel it?

My wife has an iPad3. We are travelling at the moment and whenever she tries to switch on she gets an iCloud notice saying that she has not backed up for weeks, which then locks the screen, so she cannot even close down. How do we stop this please - any ideas anyone?

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

  • I cannot find a document which I think I asked to save to icloud when I didn't have wifi so now only have .folder title and no content (pages document). How do I retrieve content?

Back in September, I typed over a document, duplicated it and renamed duplicate. I think I then clicked save when prompted to save to icloud. At this time I wasn't connected to the internet. Now I cannot find the document but have found a .folder with the same name as the document I created but this folder is empty. Is there any way of retrieving the content of that original document created in Pages?

    I really don't understand.
