Every now & then, my iPad says I need to start an acct @me cloud. Any way to clear this up?
I can go in AOL & send mail, but not from iPad....

What is wrong with Apple. This is the third time during autumn, that I experience problems with icloud. Apparently yesterday once again there was an outage with icloud and the problem was solved, but NO it is not solved. I still can not send e.mails and I am probably not the only one. Each time I talk to a technician from Apple, the only thing they do is to uninstall my icloud and reinstall it again. With no results. A waste of time. Please make your system work and give a better support. Who do I call to get a proper assistance???
And why can I not select icloud under my products??Could be many things, we should start with this...

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward. -
IOS mail app can't download mail
I've got an IPhone 5, running IOS 8.1.3. For the last week or so, the built in Mail app is not displaying any new mail from my Register.com email account.
It flashes a "Checking for mail..." message, quickly says that it's downloading mail, and then it says "Updated Just Now", like normal. But no new mail is displayed. I tried deleting and recreating the account; login information never changed. I've reverified correct incoming and outgoing mail servers as well.
Anyone seen this behavior before?
Thanks!I have the same problem when i want to download update in apps store. The apps store is using other account, which is not mine so i don't know the password and eventually can't download apps. Can' t understand how this could happen because i'm using my own personal ipad an have logged on in my ipad's setting using my own apple ID. Contacting apple support doesn't help either.

I have an iPhone 4 and want to download an audiobook from audible.com. My iPhone says safari can't download the item . Why? Also the audible app is for iPhone 5 and above ? Any suggestions ?

According to https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/audiobooks-from-audible/id379693831?mt=8 it only requires iOS 5 or later and it is "optimized" for iPhone 5. I think it will likely work well on your iPhone 4.

ever since i forgot my apple id password and changed to a new one, I am continually being asked to enter my iCloud password. It then says that this mac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with "my username". nothing I do in in preferences helps.
You have to sign out completely in System Preference>iCloud (click 'Sign out') on a Mac, or Settings>iCloud on an iOS device (click 'Delete account' - this will not delete the account from the server). Then sign in with the new password.
Your iCloud data will disappear from your Mac or device when you sign out but will reappear when you sign back in. -

Your Numbers 2 app will still be functional if you download the new Numbers 3 app. If you purchased Numbers 2 prior to the Mac App Store, your iWork '09 apps are in Applications > iWork. If you purchased your Numbers 2 app from the Mac App Store, Numbers 2 will be in Applications, no sub folder. But, if you "Upgrade" to Numbers 3, Numbers 2 will be moved into an iWork subfolder within Applications. You will be able to manually choose which one you want to use, but Numbers 3 will be the default.

To check the model number hold down the option/alt key, go to the Apple menu and select System Information.
MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) model number 5,1 or higher

Your Mac needs:
OS X v10.6.8 or OS X Lion already installed
2 GB or more of memory (More is better - 4 GB minimum seems to be the consensus)
8 GB or more of available space
If your computer isn't compatible, you might be able to upgrade to Lion.

they are now visible in "shared"
later I think I cleared the iCloud backup
Now they are not in iPad(local) and they are not in iCloud(remote)
bvut I can see those videos in "shared"
what is shared?
when you clock on "photos" you will see three things at the bottom of the screen
"Photos" "shared" "Albums"
My videos are in "shared" I want to down load them locally into my iPad

Elements 11 finds photos but says it can not download them
Photoshop Elements 11 downloaded most of my photos, but there are 167 left that it has not. It gave me a message that said it could not download them because either my battery was load or that the camera was not securely connected. I tried changing the battery and check the connections, even used a different USB drive on my computer and still get the same message. Now originally a program on my computer called Panasonic Fun Photo (or something like that) popped up when I started to download from the camera, and I tried to close it. I had some message come up the second time I tried to download to Photoshop that there was a movie it was trying to download and got stuck at 4%. There is no movie on the camera. I went through all 406 pictures and can't figure out why this came up. I uninstlled the Panasonic program because I thought it might be interfering, but still can not get the 167 pictures that Adobe Photoshop finds but says it can not download. What do I do?

When i try to download, i get an error message saying unsupported language. It says it can only download in English, English is my language.
