Icloud sent items dont sync

hi
icloud sent items dont sync between ipad, iphone and Mac if i send with one device it doesnt show in the other device sent items
but inbox works properly why ?

Huh...? But that's exactly the problem! I have added my iCloud account in Outlook (via the iCloud Control Panel), and there is a "Sent" folder under this account in Outlook. Should the contents of this folder not match the same folder on icloud.com / iPhone / Mail on my MacBook / etc...? Because it doesn't.
If I send an email from my iCloud account in Outlook, it does not appear in the Sent folder anywhere else and vice versa.
PS: I checked the account settings, and it is set up for IMAP.

Sent Items not Syncing with Android (Nexus 7)

Hi,
Im hoping someone can shed some light on a small problem.
Ive just taken on a PA who has a Nexus 7 (Google, running Android 4.2) - I want her to be able to use my mac email on the tablet.
I use an iphone, ipad and 2 macs in my day and all of the email syncs seemlessly. Anything you do on one device, is mirrored on the others as Im sure most are aware.
Ive set up the Android Email (not GMAIL, just the standard configurable EMAIL program) program to use my mac email. Everything works brilliantly, except the syncing of the sent items. ALL other folders sync seemlessly as with the Apple devices. What is sent on the macs/iphone/ipad does not appear on the Nexus, and whatever is sent on the Nexus, only appears on the Nexus. Any emails sent from the Nexus get through just as if theyve been sent from any of the Apple devices.
Ive been through all the settings, and can not see where I am going wrong.
Be good to know if anyone has had experience of a similar issue and a fix?

Mail Sent Items not Syncing with Rackspace Server

Hi,
My sent items are not fully syncing with my rackspace email account. Some items sent through Mail show up in the rackspace sent items and some do not. I am worried that emails are not being sent. Also, when replicating, Mail will show something like "outgoing messages 35 of 35", when I send a single email to a single individual. What is that all about?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Just to add my solution in here. I was gaving the issue where all of my mail had synchronised, and all of my ical and all of addressbook. However, my sent mail folder was not syncing, and worse still, no new sent mail was being saved off in sent mail.
Initially I thought it was a mailbox size thing, so I archived off the majority of my mail on another machine, deleted the sent mails, and then let the other machine sync with Exchange.
However still the same issue on a tiny mailbox. After seeing this thread (pointed here by Apple Tech support - thanks Clement) i deleted all sent mails on another machine, jumped back onto mac mail.app and all was well.
I still have a weird issue with delinquent emails in sent mail that wont delete, but I can live with that.
I too wish that Apple would make a more robust mail application - Apple ProMail as part of the iwork suite anyone??

Sent items not syncing

Hi, my account recently updated from Yahoo to Btinternet, however now my sent items are not syncing with my iphone and I have lost all historic sent items before update? Anyone have the same problem?

I had the same problem when I switched from Yahoo to BTinternet. I think I have fixed it as follows:
Settings
Mail,contacts,calendars
BTInternet (or whatever you have called your BT account)
Account
Advanced (scroll down to find this)
Sent mailbox
Check that correct version of sent mailbox is ticked - I found that it was using one called Sent messages but there was also one called Sent further down the list. I ticked that one instead, then went back 2 pages and clicked done. In the email app I can now see all my sent messages. (I had to transfer the messages I sent before finding this out into another mailbox first so I could move them to the correct sent box afterwards.)
I'm on iPhone 4s iOS 7 so some steps may be different for you but hope this helps!

Sent items not syncing with Exchange

I've got a problem whereby my mailbox has now successfully synced with my Exchange server in Snow Leopard Mail. The problem I have though is that my Sent items box is completely empty, like it just hasn't synced with it (it doesn't even look like it's trying to sync). Is there a setting I'm missing or am I doing something stupid?

BT Mail inboxes and sent items not syncing with Ou...

I have got IMAP/SMTP set up on Outlook but having trouble syncing my inbox sub folders that I set up online with BT Mail - these are not showing in outlook. Also items sent from BT Mail not appearing in outlook (just the ones sent from outlook). Any solutions?

Thanks for posting. If you set these folders up within POP the recommendation is that they are set up again on webmail before transferring over to the IMAP. You may need to set this up again to ensure everything syncs up.

Gmail Active Sync Sent Items Not Showing

2 queries really I now have gmail set up with microsoft exchange there are two folders called sent items, but sent items dont actually show. I chose mail to puch and chose sent items, but sent mail still does not show.
+ Is there a way to edit/delete these folders

I'd like to know how to get this working too. I see the exact same thing on my phone, but sure I briefly saw the real sent items box before.

The sent items should sync up if you have the account configured in Outlook as an Exchange account and are online. Are they any sync errors in the Sync issues folder?

Problems with icloud folders and sent items

Hey,
I have done an extensive search but cannot find the answer to my query. I have been a long time user of apple’s email service and thus have an @mac.com/@me.com and an @icloud.com email address. Recently icloud has been playing up and is no longer storing my sent emails in the sent email file but is creating a smart “Trash” folder with a “sent Items” folder in that and this is where my sent items are coming up.
This is not only annoying but is also mucking up my ability to sync properly with Postbox
Does anyone know what on earth is going on?

If this is a POP account and you’re running Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther), you probably have the problem described here:
Overstuffed mailbox is unexpectedly empty
If you’re just starting to experience the problem, doing what the article suggests might work. If you’ve let the problem to become worse over time, however, it’s almost certainly too late to solve it as described in the article.
Because of the differences between Mail 1.x and Mail 2.x, further discussing your problem here might confuse other users with apparently similar problems using Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger), so please start a new topic in the Mail & Address Book - Mac OS X 10.3 & earlier forum, or just look for other threads discussing the same problem there. Iphone microsoft outlook sent items syncing

Hi, I have configured my outlook email account on my iphone, it works fine except for the fact that mails sent from the iphone dont get sync'ed in my PC. the inbox syncs but the sent items just remains in the iphone. Please help!

Well, I have lived with my suggested changes for a couple of weeks not and am not aware of any shortcomings.

"Sent Items" folder can not be synced up in time for Outlook 2013 cache mode

Hi,
I found a strange problem in Outlook 2013 cache mode. Hope anyone can help me find out if it is the new design of outlook 2013 or outlook 2013 issue.
I am using Exchange 2013 and Outlook 2013 client. I created two outlook profiles in two machines separately with a same exchange user, the difference for the two profiles is one is in cache mode, and the other is in uncache mode.
I launched outlook using the profiles in the two machines, go to "Sent Items" folder, I assume there are some messages in this folder in your mailbox, do below steps:
1. modify one of the messages in the "Sent Items" folder from the profile in cache mode, in this case, the changes to the message will be synced up to the profile which is in uncache mode immediately.
2. modify another messages in the "Sent Items" folder from the profile in uncache mode, in this case, the changes will never be synced up to the profile in cache mode.
In the second action above, even if I clicked "Send/Receive" button, and waited for whole night, the changes was not synched up to the cached mode side. The way I can get the latest changes to the "Sent Items" folder is "clear
offline items" and click "Update folder" or I need to remove and create the profile again.
All in all, the changes to the items in "Sent Items" folder of Outlook 2013 which was did from cache mode will be synched up to exchange server side immediately, but the changes which was did from exchange server side will
never be synched up to the cache mode side unless the end-user clear the offline items and update folder or create a new profile again.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

The first behavior is by design even in the previous version of Office.

Uploading local changes ---- By default, when you make a change locally, that change is synced to the server after 15 seconds. When you make another change within those 15 seconds, then the timer is reset again. As now you
could in theory hold off synchronization indefinitely, there is the maximum timer. This timer is started after the first change that you made and when it reaches 60 seconds, then a synchronization will occur to upload all the changes that you have made thus
far, no matter how many seconds are left on the upload timer.
However, in second section, this should be a downloading server changes
behavior ---- When a server side mailbox change occurs, Outlook is notified by the Exchange server of this change. By default, Outlook will then wait 30 seconds before synchronizing these changes. If there are any other changes occurring
at the server level within these 30 seconds, then these changes are downloaded at the same time as well.
At this time, please directly modify the message in sender items folders through Web-based access and then wait over 30 seconds to check if the items changes from cache mode profile. Please also test if we can reproduce that in other folder.

Stop MfE sync'ing my sent items?

Hi, does anyone know if/how I can stop Mail for Exchange (v3.00.050) on my E71 from sync'ing the sent items from my corporate exchange mailbox?
I only want my inbox (plus a few select folders within it) to sync. My sent items has thousands of emails in it which I need to keep for company audit purposes, but that I don't want clogging up my E71. I do however need to sync all my inbox, but this only has a couple hundred emails in it at any one time so isn't an issue.
Any advice gratefully received.

Does anyone from nokia put any effort on these issues on this board? I asked this again today, but it seems that user experience is not so important for nokia.
Or maybe it is just frustrating job to answer "yes, we know that it is idiot that on your phone mail widget you can see sent items, but we are not going to do anything for it at this time"
Please let me know, are you going to fix this or shoud I change to HTC or iPhone.
