ICloud service send schedule invitation without my permission.

iCloud service send schedule invitationwithout my permission.
Yesterday was the first time using iCloudand it was the worst experience on it. It actually scared me.  I wantedto sync up my office schedule other than iTune because sometimes I forgot plugmy iPhone to the computer and miss meetings. After activating iCloud, Ireceived auto-reply emails from two of other company’s recipients told me thatone of the meetings had been forward to invite them but he is taking off now.
This is ridiculous and not acceptable.  Company emails are confidential.  How come iCloud forward my email without mypermission?  This could be extended to alegal issue.  Worst thing is, I might getfired.  Please Please, do not pretend youare smart, DO NOT forward any email and JUST COPY SCHEDULES BETWEEN MY DEVICES.

1. No. You cannot turn the passcode off. If there were a way there would be no point in having it.
2. There is no way to send the backup to iCloud, but you can transfer it to another computer using something like box.com or dropbox.com. See this for the location of the backup: Create and delete iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch backups in iTunes - Apple Support

I have been with Verizon since they started in Peoria, IL and yet to this day I don't understand why when my wife goes to work at a high school, dead in the middle of town, she has no service, can't send a text without a huge delay and can't receive phone calls?  I can be out of Peoria in the middle of a corn field and I get calls without a problem, yet but within the city no service at Peoria High School or very limited.  This causes the phone to drop from LTE and then eats the battery.

Service isn't guaranteed inside of buildings especially buildings filled with steel, concrete and electrical wiring. High School buildings definitely have all three.

  • Send calendar invites "on behalf" of WITHOUT mailbox access

I am using Outlook 2010 (on Exchange with Windows XP) but do NOT have access to my boss's inbox - only to her calendar, which is why my question is in the Outlook section and not Exchange. We have added me as a delegate with the highest level
of permission: Editor. I am aware that this can be done via Share Calendar or Calendar Permissions and I did it via the latter.
When I create meetings in my boss's calendar, it sends them from me, showing me as the Organizer and her as an attendee. I have searched the MS Office Community forum extensively and keep seeing that this is because I do NOT have delegate
permissions for her mailbox/Exchange account. Yet a coworker said she was able to send an invite on behalf of her boss WITHOUT having access to his inbox.
Is this possible? Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
Have you double-checked if the delegate permission was granted successfully under File > Account Settings > Delegate Access?
We can also try deleting the boss's calendar in your Outlook and then open it again to see if it helps.
In addition, do you or your boss syncs emails on a mobile device? I heard that syncing emails on a mobile device may cause such issue, if this is the case, we may try to disable the synchronization on the device and then test the
    issue again.
Please let me know the result.

  • How can I add a person to an event (and send that person an invite) without resending the meeting invitation to all participants?

How can I add a person to an event (and send that person an invite) without resending the meeting invitation to all participants?

Apple doesn't make it easy to do what you want.  However, here's how I do it.
Select the photo you want to move and create a new Event for it via the Event ➙ Create Event menu option.
In the Event mode select the new Event with the one picture and drag it onto the Event you want to move the photo to.

i want to change my password but the system is not sending me message to reset my password. pls help someone is using my password without my permission and i want to change my password.

If you are talking about your Apple ID password, make sure it IS your apple ID.
In the past 24 hours, I have received two emails "How to reset your Apple ID password". I  had not requested any change and I finally realized someone else is trying to reset the password. I have had this Apple ID since 2009 so I am not using someone else's ID.
Again, if you are not receiving the email to reset make sure you have the right ID - it might be going to the email linked to the account, and it might not be yours.

  • Email will send a mass email without my permission

So I have my email account set up through the 'mail' application. I use AOL not sure if that is relevant, but this is the second time I have noticed this happening. It was sent to 12 random people, only 3 of which I have in my address book, 3 others were professors and the rest were sent to people who I have previously sent or received emails from. There was no subject to either email and the only thing the message contained was this: http://www. stock-hifi.com/qLdyWVDE7L.html. I do not remember what the subject was to the first email.
I would suggest NOT going to the site because it says something like "Visiting this site may harm your computer" and "Suspected Malware Site". I'm scanning my mac now for any potential problems. I was just wondering what is happening and how can I stop it?

In your case, you need to contact customer support. They may ask you to answer some verification questions to prove that you indeed own that account, before they can assist you in resetting your password - Just open the link pasted below to see the instructions on how to get in touch with customer service -

  • HT4864 Can you use Windows Live Mail to send/recieve iCloud email and share contacts or can I just use iCloud email on my PC without use Live Mail?

Can you use Windows Live Mail to send/recieve iCloud email and share contacts or can I just use iCloud email on my PC without use Live Mail? I want to use one email adress, one contact list and one calendar. I want to be able to have access to all this on my iphone and pc.

You can only use Mail, contacts and calendars will not work, for that you need Outlook.

My MS outlook on the PC is sending two invites in the icloud calandar. How can I stop this? I ony want the email send with my email address not the apple email.

  • Calendar: another iCloud-User cannot send me invitations to meetings.

Since a few weeks my friend cannot send me invitations to appointments. Both, the email adress of the sender and email adress of the recipient, are provided by iCloud. Additionally the calendar of my friend cannot be shared with me - surpricingly I am able to share my calendar with my friend.
Any idea how to fix that?

    Hi,
I suppose you are working in Online Mode?
I actually read this kb and I think it might be helpful in your case:
Email remains in the Outbox when you use the DelegateSentItemsStyle registry value
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2703723/en-us
This problem may occur when all the following conditions are true:
Your Outlook profile is configured in online mode (not cached Exchange mode).
You have the DelegateSentItemsStyle registry value set to 1.
There is no resolution to this problem other than to either switch your profile to cached Exchange mode or set the DelegateSentItemsStyle registry value to zero (0).

  • IOS sends Calendar invites via icloud to known icloud users

I am having a lot of difficulty with our company phones and tablets with regard to calendar invites.  Users are complaining that they are not getting calendar invites from other users, and when they do they don't end up on their exchange calendar.  I believe this is the issue:
    1.  iPhone user creates a calendar invitation to their default calendar (which is an exchange calendar) via their iOS device
    2.  The email addresses they specifiy match with Apple somehow as account email with iCloud
    3.  The invitation is sent via iCloud somehow to users that Apple has matched as having an email matching their iCloud account calendar email
This presents multiple problems: If a user isn't subscribed to their iCloud calendar on one of their devices (say it's on for a tablet and not their phone) they will never receive the invitation.  More of a problem is that when the calendar invite is sent (by apple's servers apparently) in that manner, it will come into their iOS device on their device's consolidated calendar (calendar overlay of numerous calendars) but can never of course be sync'd to their exchange calendar which is used on their desktop/laptop.
I'm hoping I'm missing something here as it's a disaster in a corporate environment; it isn't an issue where they can simply use an alternate email address to send the invitation as the majority of users have configured icloud (specifically for icloud backup ONLY, they don't give a darn about the iCloud calendar) with their company email addresses.  This results in calendar invites that are accepted from a user's iOS device from never showing up on their exchange calendar.
The preference would be to either be able to configure a device never to send invitation in that way, OR to configure a receiving device to only accept emailed calendar invitations/configure iCloud not to match and send invites to their iCloud calendar but instead to always deliver to the associated email address.  I'm not sure if this is solvable, I've got to believe with how widely deployed iOS is and the fact that for companies of any size Microsoft Exchange is the de facto standard...there must be a workaround.
    Suggestions?

You are not missing anything, you are referring to integration of Apple product - icloud and Microsoft product - exchange. They do not integrate, were never intended to do so by either of the companies - as far as I know.

  • Accept invitation without sending repsonse?

I have my iphone connected to my Exchange account. I want to be able to accept meeting invites without sending a response to the meeting organizer.
    Is that possible?

Actually, the "iCal" invite comes from Exchange. I can add them to my iCal calendar just fine but the reply sent back to the originator of the event does nothing for my status in the Exchange item -- I still show as tentative. All they get is an email that says I'll be attending (or not).
Since most folks I know around here don't really look to see who's attending or not, I'd rather just not send the response.
Your suggestion for disconnecting is interesting though. While that is not an option for me (I'm always connected to one or more servers), I could try going offline while accepting the invite and then delete the message.
    I'll give that a try.
    Thanks!

  • ICloud isn't sending calendar invites

My icloud account isn't sending calendar invites on events.  I've tried sending them from my iphone, my ipad, ical, and also my online account.
Does anyone know if there is a solution for this?

Having found this on another board, I will pass it along here in hopes that it will be successful.
Apparently if you have the "[email protected]" domain listed as your alternate email in your Apple ID that it is somehow related to the glitch.  I just deleted my me.com as an alternate email and I am going to be resending an invite this evening to 150 people.  So I'd say that's a fair test pool to see how successful this solution truly is.  I will report the results.

  • How to create a Business Catalyst user WITHOUT sending an invitation

Hi, I have a customer that cannot receive any of the e-mail invitations from the BC system to set up a user role.
I can create the user on the BC system and send the invite, but the customer is not getting them.
Is there a way to set up the user on the system, with a user name and password, without having to use the e-mail invitation workflow?
    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Hi RepulseMonkey
I can troubleshoot this for you but I'd need some more information. Id need the URL of the website so I can do some checks on the DNS setup.
Basically if you're not receiving emails it can be a few things. I'd be looking to check:
    1. That your Domain Setup is set correctly. If it's set to Internal, when it's actually External then this can happen.
    2. If it's externallly hosted then you should start by creating the SPF record that is required so your external mail server will trust mail sent from Adobes servers - Here's some instructions on adding an SPF record  half way down this page - Business Catalyst Migration
To answer your question. YES. You can get around it. You can send the activation email to a different email address. Then once confirmed ask BC support to change it back. BUT we really recommend to get you DNS configured correctly in the first place. It's usually not hard.
Let me know if you're stuck. I can point you in the right direction and if you're really stuck PRETTY does consultation and support on this kind of thing.

Wow, just posting and it seems that there is a solution that is working for me...
What I've did is I turned off iTunes Match on my iPhone, then turned in on again. Now in my iTunes library on my mac I can get the duplicates to be matched or uploaded to iCloud with a right-click, add to iCloud. iTunes Match starts to check the songs and everything is done correctly. Pretty nice!
