Upgraded my 3Gs iPhone to OS 5. iCloud settings cannot verify my email acct. which does't exist anymore. After iCloud tries to verify my email account I get the message account not verified. How do I change to present email account so iCloud can verify?

I had similiar problem. My problem was fixed after I found out it was the apple id. Make sure your apple id is valid, www.appleid.com

My iPhone will not allow me to edit my Apple ID in iCloud and so I cannot sync my phone. How do I change my Apple ID for iCloud for my phone?

I recently changed my email address and updated my Apple account profile to reflect the new address. This changed my Apple ID for signing into Apple store and making purchases as expected. I am however undable to get iCloud account to recognize the new Apple ID. I have gone in through settings on my iPhone and in iCloud Account Information attempted to change the Apple ID but the field is muted and will not permit editing. I have looked all through Support in iTunes Store and cannot find any information on how to get iCloud to accept my new Apple ID.
Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

If the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Under settings, messages, send and receive. The phone number listed is my husbands number. How can I change it to mine? It was originally listed under my number.

Go slightly deeper into the settings. You should be looking in Settings>FaceTime>Send and Receive at>You can be reached by iMessages at.

I cannot access my ebay account. I can still look for stuff but if I try to login in I get an error message saying that the connection was reset. This is the only site I am having issues with. The site works with IE6 but I would rather use Firefox.

- Having troubles listing items on ebay (uploading pictures)... this started before the logging in problems
- Problems only on laptop, other PC in the not having any problems

I cannot access my emails in Firefox, I can with any other browser

When I click and open firefox, the comcast homepage opens and shows that I am signed in with my screen name. When I get the next screen with a preview of 5 emails, the option is to chick on the message, see entire list of emails. When I click on that it recycles back to the same preview screen. I can access the internet at that screen, but no access to my emails.. the automated troubleshooting did not work, please advise me what to do

I tried everything suggested and nothing helped, I just read a comment by Bob Rankin and he suggests that I go into my HOSTS file in 32\drivers\etc\Windows\system32\hosts and look for strange or unkown hosts names. I will try that
