  • ICloud sign in issue on iphone4s

I keep getting the iCloud sign in screen pop up on my phone, I type the correct password but it doesn't accept it. The issue is i believe that the sign in screen comes up with my old email address and I can not work out how to change this, on every iCloud place I have been it has my correct email apart from on the iPhone. Help please it's making using my phone impossible.

    Hey Cricketdel,
Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you changed your Apple ID and it is asking for your old Apple ID password. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you isolate or resolve the issue.

  • Icloud sign up issues

I am using my apple user id and password to start icloud but it shown apple id is valid but this is not icloud id.How to sign up on icloud.I wanna make new user id on icloud.

If you are logging in iCloud for the first time, you have to log in iCloud using an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad with iOS 5 or later, or a Mac with OS X 10.7.2 or later.
You say that you are using Mac OS X 10.6.7, a version that doesn't support iCloud, so you have to upgrade to, at least, OS X Lion.
First, see if your Mac is supported > http://www.apple.com/osx/specs If your Mac is compatible, open App Store and purchase OS X Mountain Lion. While it's downloading, you should make a backup of your files with Time Machine or Carbon Copy Cloner.
When the download finishes, the Mountain Lion installer will appear, so follow the steps to upgrade to Mountain Lion. After upgrading to Mountain Lion, open System Preferences > iCloud, and follow the steps to log in iCloud.
Also, check if your applications are supported > http://www.roaringapps.com

  • IPhone 4 with iCloud sign in problem.

I have an iPhone 4 which has had issues connecting to wifi networks. It works some of the time. I guess it has been dropped a bit.
Recently it's not connecting at all, which is not normally a problem. I only use it for music, notes and phone functions.
What's happening is that it is coming up with a screen asking me to sign into iCloud. I type in the password just to get rid of the screen but, as its not connecting to a wifi network, its not going through. So I have this annoying sign in screen popping up every 5 seconds or so, literally.
I have done a soft reset. No joy.
I have tried to reset it with iTunes but iTunes tells me I have to turn off Find My Phone, which I can't as it either wont connect to the network (the network is working fine, the phone just cant see it) or the iCloud sign in keeps popping up and not allowing me to put in my password in the reset/Find My iPhone window.
In short, I have an iCloud sing in window that has turned my phone into an annoying brick.
I have done a backup yesterday, I just need (I think) some way of force resetting the entire phone without going through a sign in proceedure.
    Any suggestions?

Nope. I have a phone only service.
I am currently trying a force reset. I found out, using "The Google", that I can do that by releasing the top button while doing a force restart and keeping the home button down. I have been able to reset the phone and am doing a restore now. Mind you, it won't help if that **** iCloud window pops up again....

  • ICloud sign in won't disappear on iphone

    Hello,
on my iphone5s, the iCloud sign in screen won't stop popping up, not allowing me to do anything else.  I do not have email address associated with the pop up, nor do I remember that password.  I can't even get into my settings to investgate because of the pop up screen.
    thanks in advance

    Hi teddy08,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
In this situation, do you recognize the email address showing up as an old email address or is the email address you are being prompted for completely unrecognizable to you? If you do recognize the email address, I suggest using the attached article to reset the passcode for that account. If you had a rescue email address on that account, the email to reset the password will come to that rescue address. You can also try to reset by answering the security questions on the account.
If you forgot your Apple ID password
If you are still having issues resetting the password, it may be necessary to follow the link at the bottom of the attached article and contact Apple Support.
    Cheers,
    Joe

My phone continuously requests iCloud sign ins. Any way to correct this issue?

Try signing out and then back in. That usually corrects the issue.

iCloud sign-in box has my old email - new one was updated online but did not update sign-in box??

You have to sign out completely in System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud on all your devices and then sign back in again.

When I try to setup my new iPad air, I go through all the steps for the iCloud sign-in and choosing security questions and what not. But after I hit the agree to the terms and conditions... It says Apple ID could not be created because of a server error. Have no clue what to do... I've restarted the iPad and get the same message. But my internet works just fine.

    1. Turn router off for 30 seconds and on again
    2. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

  • Can not open iCloud on MBP? Want to PhotoShare. Set up in iPhone.   Go to System Preferences, click on iCloud, get the message "move to iCloud", sign in, click on open iCloud", sign in again, and get only FindmyPhone?

Set up in iPhone.   Go to System Preferences, click on iCloud, get the message "move to iCloud", sign in, click on open iCloud", sign in again, and get only FindmyPhone? Thus, when I go to Iphoto to set up photo sharing, it says I have to have icloud account-go to sys preferences--then i go through the loop again?  Suggestions?

Now I have to get my sign-in for mobileme to be the same as my sign-in for Itunes, etc. so I have only one Apple ID!
You're not going to be able to: you can't merge accounts or transfer iTunes purchases from one Apple ID to another: but there is no problem about using two IDs.
Use your ex-MobileMe email address (which is also an Apple ID) for iCloud for syncing email, contacts, calendars, bookmarks, and PhotoStream.
Use your other Apple ID as before for iTunes, iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match.
There's no conflict about doing this, and you won't even notice as Keychain will log you in with the correct ID in each case. It's also better security not to have your iTunes login also your email address, given the number of complaints about hacked iTunes accounts.

  • I changed to a new iphone 5, but it keeps coming up with my old Apple ID FOR iCloud sign in. My Apple ID is correct for iTunes and App Store and on my ipad. The user names stays greed out on the iCloud sign in and I can't change it.

I recently changed from my old Iphone 5 to a new one. The Apple ID that comes up when signing into iCloud is my old Apple ID, yet the correct one is shown on iTunes and apps. I can't change the Apple ID to the correct one, and am unable to restore my latest back up from icloud. I have tried everything, but I can' t change the Apple ID on the phone. It stays greed out. My Apple ID is correct on my ipad and when I log into my iCloud account via the internet. How do can I fix this?

Skip the iCloud sign in for now.
Once you reach the home page, go to settings and sign out of FaceTime and Messages.  This should also sign you out of iCloud.
Go to iCloud in settings and sign in with the correct Apple ID.
    If that does not work
    Skip the iCloud sign in
Go to Apple ID.apple.com and sign in
Change your Apple ID to the old one
Delete iCloud account on your device with the old Apple ID and the same password.
Go back to the website, change your Apple ID back to the current one. You will receive an email to verify the account. Verify first.
Sign into iCloud on your device with the correct Apple ID and password

imessage on my iMac has created two iMessage account both asking for Apple ID....and no option to - (delete) one of the two duplicate accounts....how can I delete one of them it just bothers me due to sign in issues....when signed into one it signs out the other and goes inactive I just wanted to delete one of them so this issue doesn't happen....why doesn't it give the option to delete ONLY these two accounts

    1. Don't confuse "Apple ID" with iTunes Account ID.  You can have many Apple IDs but only one iTunes account active at a time.
    2. If you "changed" your iTunes account ID, you actually have 2 accounts - one under the old name plus the new name.
    3. You can't merge the accounts - they remain separate.  Apps purcahsed under the old account name will update ONLY WHEN THE PHONE IS SIGNED IN TO THE OLD ACCOUNT NAME  and visa versa.
    4. Likewise, you can sync only the apps, music, media purchased under the account the phone AND iTunes are signed in to.
