Icloud signin maximum account problem

When i signin Icloud it shows MAXIMUM ACCOUNTS problem.. Anyone helps me in this regard. I'll be thankful.

Create your new AppleID on a computer or other Internet capable device.
Once created, you will be able to use that AppleID on your iPhone.

Why am i having this problem on icloud "the maximum number of free account have been activated on this ipad"

Judging from other posts it looks like there is a maximum of 3 accounts that can be created on a device - you could either re-use one of the accounts that you've already created or create a new one on a different device or computer

  • "icloud: The maximum number of free accounts have been activated on this iPhone" so I'm going to use my sister's iPhone to activate it

According to what I read here, the iPhone I have has been activated 3 times by different iCloud accounts. My sister has a new iPhone, and I'm thinking about activating my iCloud account on her phone first, then I'll log in on mine. The thing is there is no log out button for iCloud accounts. It says "Delete". We are not sure if she is going to lose all the data she has on her account. What is she going to lose exactly if she deletes it? Will she be able to restore all her data?

Your phone has been used to create three iCloud accounts - the maximum permitted: this is nothing to do with Activation. As you say, you will need to create a new account using another iOS device.
On an iOS device, Settings>iCloud, the 'Delete account' button is badly labelled. It signs the phone out from iCloud; it does not delete the account from the server.
When she signs out using this, all her synced data - contacts, calendars, etc - will disappear from her phone; but they will reappear when she eventually signs back in (give it time for the data to re-sync).

You have created too many accounts. There's no way to get around this.

  • Mac cannot connect to iCloud because of a problem with my iCloud account

I keep getting the following message when opening my email....mac cannot connect to iCloud because of a problem with my iCloud account.

I have another kind of message. I am connected perfectly to iCloud but receive this every hour or so : "This Mac cannot connect to iCloud due to a problem with "address mail" of said account.
    But :
    1. I AM connected
    2. When I open i Cloud prefs it asks me to type my iCloud details (email address and password), then it says iCloud is in fac ALREADY open.
    3. When reading troubleshoot doc Carolyne linked to, I read this :
Close and reopen iCloud preferences before attempting to sign in to iCloud again.
If that does not resolve the issue, check your email folder and Junk folder for a verification email sent from Apple.
If there is no verification email in your email folder or Junk folder, click the Resend Verification Email button in iCloud preferences.
    My comments :
    - How can I close iCloud ? Document doesn't say. By clicking the "—" sign in iCloud prefs ???
    - I cannot see any "Verification Email button in iCloud.
    I'm on Yosemite…

  • I have just downloaded OSX Mavericks and am having a lot of problems with my iCloud account. I get a message "this iMac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with (and then it quoted my e-mail address) Does anybody know what the problem could be??

As mentioned above I have just downloaded OSX Maverick to my iMac. I am now having a lot of problems with iCloud. I get the message that "This iMac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with, and then it goes on to quote my e-mail address. It then says to open iCloud preferences to fix this problem.
I do this and no matter what I seem to do this message continues to return.
Can anybody explain how to resolve this problem (please bear in mind that I am noy very computer literate).
    Many thanks

  • I am having problems making new email/icloud address primary account.

How do I make newer email address/icloud address primary account?  I'm not being allowed to do this when I go to system preferences/icloud.  Only old defunct email address from job where I no longer work shows up.  I no longer have access to this email and I want to delete this account.

I have done this and keeps saying the same thing. I have even tried setting my account through Microsoft exchange but no luck

  • ICloud account problems

I'm purchasing a new phone and I'd like to backup all of my photos and contacts with iCloud but I'm signed into an Apple ID I share with my family (I no longer use this account for billing information) and I don't want to share my information with them. I can't sign into a different Apple ID.

Back up to your computer using iTunes instead.  Then restore that backup to your new phone to recover your data, as explained here: Transfer content from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to a new device.  If you can't do this and you want to migrate your phone to a separate iCloud account instead, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll.  If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.  Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud), provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted.  Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data.

  • Ever since i forgot my apple id password and changed to a new one, I am continually being asked to enter my iCloud password. It then says that this mac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with "my username". nothing I do in in preferences helps.

You have to sign out completely in System Preference>iCloud (click 'Sign out') on a Mac, or Settings>iCloud on an iOS device (click 'Delete account' - this will not delete the account from the server). Then sign in with the new password.
Your iCloud data will disappear from your Mac or device when you sign out but will reappear when you sign back in.

  • ICloud Password in Mail Problem

Why does mail keep asking the following:
    Enter password for account iCloud.
The iCloud IMAP server “p07-imap.mail.me.com” rejected the password for user.
What is this all about, why and how can it be solved?
    thanks

The funny thing is that it seems to happen most often on my Mac in mail than on my iPhone or iPad. I have had to shut down and restart my computer and then it works but eventually it happens again. This seemed to start with iCloud.I have no problem with the mail on iCloud.com.
    Any possible suggestions?

  • HT204053 on my iphone 3gs, I tap settings, icloud and the account is incorrect.  Please help!

On my iphone 3GS, I tap Settings, iCloud. The account is incorrect and light grey, which will not allow me to edit the account.  Other problems stemming from this have to do with storage and photo stream.

    Thanks!
    This is what I mean:
In the settings on my iPhone, I click iCloud which puts me at a screen and at the top is iCloud Account Information.  Under that is Apple ID.  This is where the wrong id is.
Further down the page is the Storage Plan information, which says cannot load storage plan.
Also, iCloud Back-up: " iCloud Backup is inable to access the (wrong account, again).  Review your account information in settings."  I did and ran into the problem above.

  • In settings can't open iCloud or internet accounts. Get message that preference pane can be opened.

Since upgrading to Maverick it can't open iCloud or internet accounts in settings. Get a message the the preference pane won't open.

    Same here.
This was a big problem when switching from 10.7 to 10.8 and now it seems te be back, bigger than ever when going to 10.9.
All icloud related programs are effected: ical, icloud, adressbook, mail.
Systemprefereces goes easily to 100% cpu load and things like com.apple.icloud or com.apple.internetaccounts turn not responding.
At this moment it does not crash on my imac 2012. It still crashes om the imac 2009 and macbook 2009.
Someone mentioned to use keychain repair but that must be done in English mode!. It crashed in dutch mode.
I have not found a overall solution yet.
Will keep on looking or go back to good old 10.8.5.

  • Preferences Panel will not Load for ICloud or Internet Accounts

I am having issues with my iCloud and as a result my iCal is completely blank. In system preferences I try to click either iCloud or Internet Accounts and it reads "Preferences Error. Could not load Internet Accounts Preferences Pane." When I look in the console under diagnostic reports there was a crash log from around the same time the issue began titled CalendarAgent
    It reads as follows:
    0x10b8eb000 -             0x10b90aff7    com.apple.icloud.iaplugin (426-459) <DB692087-05B0-385A-9281-58C8EBEB607A> /System/Library/InternetAccounts/iCloud.iaplugin/Contents/MacOs/iCloud
Can everyone give any insight as to what is going on and how to correct the problem? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hello mogwai_100,
It may help to reinstall Mac OS X on your system. The directions in the article linked below are for Mavericks (OS X 10.9), but will work for OS X 10.7 and OS X 10.8 as well.

  • This Mac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with my email address Open iCloud preferences to fix this problem"

I keep getting this message over and over and over.
This Mac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with <my email address>
Open iCloud preferences to fix this problem"
I go to IC Preferences but there is nothing I can fix there that is relative.
My outbox is no longer working in MAIL so I cannot email out. I have to use my wife's MBP to send emails.
I can get emails. I didn't change anything in m,ail preferences, so what is Apple doing to me?

I also have had this problem and see no resolution - signed out of my account and signed in again, did not get any resolution to the problem. done this twice. Is Apple addressing this? I thought that 10.10.1 would resolve this but found to my dismay that there has been no resolution. Each time I log out of iCloud and then sign in again, there is a time lag before all my files in iCloud become accessible so have stopped trying this remedy. I also have issues with iTunes where am asked for my password 4 times before I can log in. Would like to know if there is anything in the pipeline to remedy/rectify this problem. Issues with bad internet connectivity have improved but are still there. Wish Apple would spend some more time in testing and resolving issues before releasing new software.
