ICloud stopped working on iMail

All of a sudden icloud isn't syning in iMail on my Mac - it says The server returned an error: Mail was unable to connect to the server "p08-imap.mail.me.com" using SSL on port 993. Verify that this server supports SSL and that your account settings are correct"
I don't understand, it was working fine a couple of days ago, I haven't changed anything and I can access icloud through my web browser.
HELP!

Make sure Mail is selected in System Preferences > iCloud
According to the iCloud status page > Apple - Support - System Status
The mail server is working.
You can click Contact Suport at the bottom of that window.

Update software. If that doesn't work try resetting. Mine started working after the update.

I am using Outlook 2010 on a PC with Windows 7 and was effectively using iclould to synch it with my ipad and iphone. Within the last month the connection to icloud stopped working.

I can still see Icloud contacts and calendar on my outlook, but it is not synching with the cloud. I can't seem to pinpoint when it stopped working. Help!

Are you sure that you have the iCloud control panel downloaded and installed?
You should also check the iCloud add in. Click the File menu. Then click Options in the left panel of the Outlook window. Click Add-Ins in the left panel of the Outlook Options window. Look at the list of add-ins beneath "Active Application Add-Ins" make sure "iTunes Outlook add-in" and "iCloud Outlook Add-in" are selected.
To add enable the add-ins, in the Manage box at the bottom of the Outlook Options window, select COM Add-Ins, and then click Go. In the COM Add-Ins dialog, navigate to the iCloud add in and and you should be able to enable them.
Once you have the refresh button, the push connection is ON again

icloud has worked perfectly. now a message comes up saying" it has stopped working and microsoft will attempt to fix the problem". I have signed out and signed back in. restarted the computer. no luck. Any ideas?

First thing I would try would be to remove the battery from your MacBook, connect the computer to it's power adapter and start up, then see if the keyboard and trackpad work normally. Some older batteries have been known to expand and interfere with keyboard and trackpad. If this works, replace the battery.

Imap settings for iCloud stopped working today

Out of the blue - and just after I committed to go deeper down the Apple rabbit whole (just bought my first Mac) - my emails stopped working this afternoon.
I'm using my iCloud account with manual server settings so that I can use my own personal email outgoing email and SMTP.
This has been working fine for a year now (imap.mail.me.com incoming server, etc). Now it started complaining that there is a mismatch between password and username. Only that it's fine. Works on my Mac. Works in iCloud on the web. And I didn't change anything.
Wiped out the phone and put on a backup from two days ago. Still, don't receive anything. Same error message.
I'm at a loss. Anyone else experiencing this who sets up mail settings manually for iCloud?

Thanks for replying. Sorry to hear that you're having issues as well. I'm pretty sure it's on Apple's end. It'll probably go away again without them ever acknowleding anything.
I'm looking into alternative solutions right now. I have my own domain name but it doesn't come with any push mail option. That's why I'm using iCloud this way. I'm thinking about buying into the small business MS Office 365 plan for $60 and call it a day. Just need to figure out how to set it up without switching the domain over to the evil empire.
This is all very frustrating. And all because Apple doesn't allow for an easy way to have your own reply-to adress in iOS.
To compare notes:
I'm located in the North East. Provider is T-mobile. Server used on the phone is (and has been for a long time) imap.mail.me.com
Otherwise I'm pretty sure my server is p18.

Bfs icloud stopped working on my iphone 5 ios7.1.1

I connected my Bfs icloud on my iphone 5 so we can read each other text messages but after a few text it stopped working. Why is it doing that? I know people that are able to connect there icloud on iPads and able to read their messages in there...

Why has iCloud stopped working with Pages 5.1 on my MacBook Air?

Hi all,
Since upgrading to Pages 5.1 on my MacBook Air, the option to open or save documents to iCloud has vanished. The iCloud sync is working fine on my iPad and iPhone, but I can't even see my iCloud documents and folders. Before, I used to have an iCloud button on the "Open File" dialog, but that's not there any more. I've attached a screenshot of the dialog.
I've tried signing out of iCloud on the MacBook, removing the Mobile Documents folder, and signing back into iCloud again, but Pages stays the same. I should add that Numbers seems to have the same problem, but other iCloud features all seem to be working ok.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is it even a problem, or am I just being dense? For reference, I'm using Mavericks (OS X 10.9.1 13B42) and the latest version of iWork.

For some reason, I can no longer connect to icloud. I have tried the following and still nothing:

From my iphone
From my ipad
It was working fine yesterday and I have not changed anything.

I received a similar (possibly the same) error message when trying to access my iCloud mail via icloud.com about 20 minutes ago. Very strange.

ICloud stopped syncing

Hi,
iCloud stopped working for me. Atleast for Pages it doesn't sync. If I edit a document on my iPhone or iPad it would sync to iCloud but not sync to eachother. This is very annoying since I used to type up some stuff on my iPhone during transit and then continue to edit on my Mac, but now I can't seem to do that.
My devices do sync to iCloud.com, just not to eachother.

No wait, can that. None of my devices seem to sync to iCloud anymore or to eachother.

I also have this problem. I tried to reinstalll with the latest adobe download and it start, gets 10% through and then bombs out. It's in a deadlock.The only thing I think I can do is to restore the PC to before the installation and try again. THis is a ball ache because there are lots of other programs i need to reinstate to get back to normal. I have a support chatline open about the topic right now so If I get an answer I will let you know.

I have reloaded Icloud on my Windows 7 PC and it just says it stopped working and closes the program after I enter my apple password, what can I do?

Icloud add-in stopped working with Outlook 2010.

All of a sudden the add-in stopped working with Oulook 2010 on my Windows 7 PC. Instead of the refresh button on the toolbar is says "incorrect password." I have not changed my icloud username or password. I tried to setup from icloud control panel, but I get an incorrect password error. Any ideas?

Followed instructions in another thread. Ran "repair" on Office. In iCloud control panel ran the setup. Enabled icloud add-in in Outlook. Seems to be working now.
