What does it mean when it says iCloud storage details are currently unavailable.  Try again later.  How can I fix it?

Apple has been having a number of server issues today and this may be related to that.  Give it some time and try again later.

    Are you an ex-MobileMe subscriber who has the complimentary extra storage? If so this will downgrade to the free storage level at the end of next September, and if you want to keep the storage you will need to cancel the downgrade and pay for the additional storage. Note that if you purchase additional storage before next September it will cancel the complimentary storage immediately. Please see

    Hey guys, I have an iMac 27 inch. Whenever i connect to the game center it asks me to input my apple id & password. I do so then I agree to terms & conditions followed by inputing my nickname. After doing this stuff it just shows as 'Saving...' and never stops for hours. When I try through chess i get the following error. "Game center account services are currently unavailable. Please try again later". I've tried everything which were there in other discussions but none helped. And just for the extra information my internet is firewalld frrom the datacenter itself. Please provide a solution. Thanks :)

  • I'm getting messages that Netflix and the iTunes store are currently unavailable.  This can't be a coincidence.  also, my iTunes account works fine on my Mac, just not on the Apple TV.

    1. An explanation for what? There is indeed a support number (which you can find on this page in "Contact Us" and you are limited to one support call in the first 90 days and if you have the AppleCare you have more than that available, so I'm not sure what you are whinning about (and it is whinning, trust me).

    3. Your computer is constantly changing whether you know it or not. Do you not apply any MS upgrades (or have them automatically applied for you?) Do you not have any antivirus on your machine (which applies its own upgrades)? Do you not, ever, ever, ever, open any email message, or download that cute little movie your friend sent you, or plug in any other device (like a digital camera or flashcard reader) or any of the other hundreds of things that change the computer environment.
    It would be tempting to conclude a priori that the update you applied is now the problem, but if so, how do you explain the millions of others who apply the update without issues? The difference is in the software and settings on the witches brew that is a PC. So in a sense you are right in that the old firmware worked with the mess that is your computer and now the new one doesn't -- but it ain't up to Apple to fix your computer, and impossible for them to control the environment (oh, I guess unless you buy a Mac -- "coincidentally" Mac's use firewire for the iPod :>)
    I dunno -- when 90% of all issues (100% of all connection issues) can be solved with the Adaptec 4300 I tend to have a lot less patience with folks. If you want to use the mess that is USB then you'll just have to deal with the fact that MS screwed it up big time and become more knowledgable on how to handle the problems.

    Photoshop.com is no longer available. The service transferred to Revel.
    Ignore the sign-in altogether.
    You may need to turn off Sync in Organizer prefs if you have it activated.

    What country are you in? Not sure if this could be regional.
    The only other thing I can suggest is a potential connection problem between your PC and Apple's servers. Have you tried subscribing to iTunes Match from your iPad?
    Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 7.1 or higher.
    Scroll down and tap on iTunes & App Store.
    Tap on Subscribe to iTunes Match. Note that you'll only see this option when you're signed into your iTunes account with your Apple ID. If you aren't, do that first.
    On the iTunes Match menu, tap on the Subscribe button that shows the price for your country.
    A popup will appear asking you to confirm your subscription. Tap on Subscribe.
    Type in your Apple ID password when asked.

    We get orders for our restaurant through the hpeprint.com service.  When the service goes down we do not reeive any notice.  The service appears to be down currently.  The web site has a message "Portions of our site are currently unavailable. We thank you for your patience for the inconvenience." and each page displays "
    SERVER ERROR
    Oops! Something just went wrong with our server.
    Try refreshing the page."
    In addition to this prior to the outage, our print jobs were failing stating "system error" with no explaination.  I then sent a test print job and clicked "refresh" button on the page and after a minute it returned "Your printed has been successfully deleted.".  I didn't want it deleted, I wanted it refreshed and printing emails that come in.  It would be great if the failure cause would be available so I would know whey the failures occur.  
    Please reply ASAP and let me know if this is not recommended as a dependable system to use for restaurant orders.

    Walter, sounds like you are having issues with the ePrint services on your printer. Unfortuantely, the outages on our website are not planned and are involved in regular server maintenance. Much like other sites (like Twitter earlier today), when our servers are in need of repair it is often the site not working that alerts us to the issue. The individuals involved in maintaining those integral parts of the service do work diligently and as quickly as possible to restore all functionality back to our customers.  
    I would recommend that you create a backup method at getting these orders outside of ePrint that way if one service is down your entire business will not suffer because of it. 
    I am sorry for the inconvenience, but I hope that this information is useful.

    I keep getting emails telling me to reduce the amount of storage you are using or purchase a storage plan, but when I click Manage my Storage Plan the plan I want isn't available. I've been trying to get help on this topic for a week.

    What is your current plan and what plan are you trying to choose?  Also, are you a former MobileMe user who's free upgrade is about to expire?

    You can stop trying. Photoshop.com is dead and gone, as are the things that relied on it, like the downloadable content in the editor and your contact book in the organizer and so on. If you had any photos stored on photoshop.com, you should have received a bunch of emails about their getting moved to adobe revel, but revel is not a direct equivalent to the services that were available in photoshop.com.     In your case, I'd highly recommend switching off auto-renewal once you've purchased your annual membership. You can make changes to your Creative Cloud subscription on the My Account page on Adobe.com: https://www.adobe.com/account.html Just click on "My subscriptions and services" in the far right column. Once your full annual membership commitment ends, go in and make sure your annual membership has fully expired and does not automatically renew. Then all you have to do is purchase your 12-month pre-paid from Amazon and make sure you use the same account information you used in your first subscription.
    The only fee that you could encounter in this process is if you decide to cancel your annual memberships early: (taken from the Creative Cloud FAQ)
    If you decide to cancel a 3- or 12-month prepaid membership purchased at a retailer or online store, you will receive a refund of 50% of the value of the time left on your membership. To cancel your membership, contact Adobe Customer Service.
    To cancel a one-year membership, you can either go online to the Account page on www.creativecloud.com or contact Adobe Customer Service. If you cancel your membership before meeting the 12-month commitment date, you will be charged 50% of the remaining amount left on your contract.
    So make sure your full annual membership does not renew after your commitment date!
    After your annual membership expires or is cancelled, the applications you have installed will be deactivated and you won't be able to use them. You don't need to uninstall and reinstall them - you'll just need to enter your new subscription information in the Application Manager the next time you reopen the applications.
