Icloud storage upgrade plan

My iphone is prompting me with icloud storage upgrade.  The options shown to me are 20, 200, 500 and 1 TB.  My question is if I upgrade to 20 GB plan, will it get added to my current annual plan of 20 GB?

Apple does not participate in this forum - it's just for users.  You'll need to contact Apple about it.  Before doing so, check your credit card at their web site to be sure a charge went through.  If so, then wait a day to see if the storage amount eventually changes.

  • ICloud Storage Upgrades: Auto-renewal options

Is there a specific control option for determining whether or not an iCloud Storage upgrade plan automatically renews or not?  From this article iCloud storage upgrades and downgrades - Apple Support it seems to suggest that if you simply do nothing and leave it alone, it will auto renew each month, but if you cancel your plan, it downgrades on the renewal date.  I seem to remember that there used to be a 'Auto-Renew' option in the Manage Storage Plan screen.
Am I remembering wrong?  Was there ever an auto-renew option for iCloud storage?  I know about auto-renewing subscriptions from the App Store, so that's different of course.

It is set to autorenew automatically, unless you specify otherwise:
    iCloud: Downgrade your iCloud storage
    iCloud: Cancel your storage upgrade

  • Keep getting an email that says I need to upgrade to a larger iCloud by september 30, 2013. But I have upgraded already. "Your complimentary iCloud storage upgrade expires on September 30, 2013."

I keep getting messages that indicate that I will lose my 20 GB complimentary storage. "Your complimentary iCloud storage upgrade expires on September 30, 2013."
When I go to my icloud settings - it shows that I am on the 20GB plan for $40.
    What gives?

If you have purchased additional space that will have over-ridden the complimentary storage you had and will run until renewal a year from when you purchased it. You've received an automated email which hasn't recognized that you have purchased the storage: ignore it.

  • HT201318 How do you cancel your icloud storage upgrade?

I upgraded my iCloud storage and don't think I needed to. Can't work our how to canel it. I purchased it in Canada whici is where my account is registered. Help!

You can cancel an iCloud storage upgrade but only within 15 days of buying:
Apple seem to have made this as difficult as possible. You may be able to do this using http://expresslane.apple.com - Click on 'More products and services', then 'iCloud', 'Account and setup' then 'This topic is not listed'. Explain the situation in the box provided and wait for a response - include a phone number. However you may find you cannot proceed without entering a hardware serial number which is still eligible for AppleCare.
In that event you will need to phone them directly, using the Apple Online Store number given at the bottom of this page. The first person you speak to may tell you to do it from the iCloud website but this is not possible. Politely insist on escalating the issue to a more senior person and eventually you should be able to get through to someone who can deal with this (you may have to wait for them to call you back) - you will be asked security questions and for part of your credit card number to identify yourself.
If it is more than 15 days since you purchased the storage you cannot cancel it for a refund; you can downgrade your plan as from your next renewal date. Please see

  • ICloud storage upgrade billing

If I uprgade my icloud storage amount for my iPhone,  will I be charged monthly from my apple account or through my service provider? (I have AT&T)

    Hi dcchickie3F,
iCloud storage plans are charged to the same source as your iTunes purchases, typically a credit or debit card, though iTunes Store credit may also be used. See this article -

  • How to cancel iCloud storage upgrade over email with Apple?

I got an iCloud storage upgrade yesterday and would like to cancel it. I do not wish to pay every month for something I dont need. How do I cancel it over email if possible? I have an IOS 8.2. I want to downgrade to the 5 free GB. I purchased the 20 a month. I have only used 4 GB so I should be able to downgrade.

Never mind I found a page that showed me how to do it.

  • HT4847 Your complimentary iCloud storage upgrade

    Hi,
I was a mobileMe subscriber before moving to icloud. I did not get my "complimentary iCloud storage upgrade", even though I had an email sent to me that it has been automatically extended. Who do I speak to?
    Regards

Did you have more than 5gb of storage with MM?  If not, then it doesn't apply to you.

  • HT201318 iCloud storage Upgrade Cancellation

I need to cancel the iCloud storage Upgrade I in paid for in last 24hrs. Is there an automated means to do so? I have already attempted to used the 'manage iCloud storage' function. I couldn't cancel the current upgrade minutes after doing so and only managed to downgrade after the expiry period next year (which does not really achieve the desired aim)

I have exactly the same problem.  Apple made is really easy to purchase the upgrade, but do not make it easy to get the refund.  I received an email indicating that I could have a refund within 15 days by contacting apple.  A link was not provided in the email.  I exhaustively searched for a contact but could not get it.  There was all kinds of runarounds.  I called my local Apple Store and they scheduled a call to come into my phone tomorrow night to get the refund.  It is a $20 refund.  I think they just want people to give up so they get the money.  Will let you know if it works.

  • HT201238 iCloud Storage Upgrade Costs in Summer/Fall 2014

If I purchase an iCloud storage upgrade now (7/31/14: $100/yr for 50GB), what happens when the new iCloud storage prices (e.g., $47.88/yr for 200GB) are effective (presumably when iOS 8/OSX 10.10 are released in September-November 2014)? Will I get a credit for the pro-rated amount?

    Yes.

  • Can an iTunes card be used for iCloud storage upgrade?

We are trying to upgrade my sisters iPad icloud storgae but she does not have a credit card.  Can we use a iTunes card for this?

Not without having a credit card on file. iCloud storage upgrades are a subscription and not a one-time purchase, so a credit card is required even if the actual payment wouldn't be charged to it.

  • HT201318 How do I cancel my iCloud storage upgrade that was made by mistake?

I somehow upgraded my iCloud storage to the 50GB tier.  It was a mistake and I want to revert back to my former plan.  It states I have 15 days for a full refund but I cannot find where I would make that request.

    Try doing this: https://discussions.apple.com/message/16968425#16968425.

    Hi
I have the same problem. I discovered by using the iCloud control panel on my desktop computer allows me to get around the problem. You might want to explore that option.
