How do I accept the icloud terms and conditions if i'm "unable to connect to server"?
Or how do I stop the incessant pop messages that tell me I need to do this?

    Hi Mark,
Try resetting your device and try again: Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears. Once the Home screen comes back up, see if the next time the Terms & Conditions popup displays you are able to log on.
You can also try deleting the iCloud account and then signing back in again: Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and Delete. Follow prompts to complete Delete, then sign back in again.
    Cheers,

I have an iPad that will not allow me to accept iCloud terms and conditions. It just says server not available. But on an annoyingly regular basis a pop up asks me to accept term and cond, I go to iCloud and try to but that is when it tells me it cannot connect to the server. Frustrating as I cannot get rid of the pop ups.

Thanks champion! Apple support is useless! Way too difficult to get anywhere with their "support"

  • How to approve iCloud terms and conditions in iOS7?

I just loaded iOS7 on my iPad 2, went through the set-up, and synched with my iMac as I always do. Then on using the iPad it keeps asking me to approve the iCloud terms and conditions. when I click on "view terms" it takes me to the Settings iCloud screen, where i can't view or accept terms. Meanwhile the iCloud features like mail are not working (though they are turned on in settings).
    Can anyone offer help? Thanks

I had the same problem (repeated "accept iCloud terms and conditions") on my iPhone 4s when I upgraded to 7.0.3, but my iPhone 4 and the two iPads worked fine. There were two other problems that might be connected. One was a frequent request to sign into iCloud and the other was an "iCloud keychain error" when I tried to turn on the iCloud keychain in settings. The "Find My Friends" trick did not work.
I was able to get some improvement by Restoring my iPhone from the iTunes backup (to my computer) created during the upgrade process. This allowed me to start the iPhone set-up process again. With this done I no longer was bothered by the frequent "accept..." and the frequent requests to sign into iCloud. I still have the "iCloud keychain error" problem.
Now how do I fix that?

'New Icloud Terms and Conditions' window pops up every time I try to check my email, or when I open setting. My email doesn't load because of this, so I haven't been able to check my email for months. When I click, 'view terms' it takes me to my Icloud section in settings, but the terms don't pop up. I plugged it into my iTunes to see if it would pop up, but that didn't work either. My phone is updated, and I'm pretty sure I already accepted the new terms and conditions on the last update a few months back.

    Hi munaxnight,
If you are having issues with your iPhone continuing to ask you to accept terms and conditions, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
Force an app to close in iOS
Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
    Best,

  • I had started the process of removing my husband as the primary on my ipad2 device before the Holiday and never got back to it.  I keep getting a message on the ipad  for New icloud Terms and Conditions but I can't seem to log on.  when i go to it's locke

I had contacted apple support before the Holiday and we had started the process of removing/replacing my husband as the primary on my ipad2.  However, I keep getting messages now 'New iCloud Terms and Conditions'  in a window that constantly pops up.  When I go to settings to log into icloud, it is locked with a grey screen.  What can I do?  Also, I had gone throught he process of syncing all 3 of my devices Ipad2, mini and my iphone5 to have the same passwords, etc. for ease of use.  Now that seems to be all wrong as well.  HELP!  I need these devices for my work and I'm short on time to go to the store, but will if I have to.
    Thank you!
    Julie

If the setting is greyed out perhaps you have restrictions enabled that would prevent someone from changing accounts. Settings>General>Restrictions>Allow Changes>Accounts.

  • How do I accept iCloud "Terms and Conditions"

So I bought my first Smartphone the other day. Problem being, I didn't know a **** thing about them and so didn't have think to have the old owner remove their apple ID/iCloud login. So now I'm sort of stuck in a situation where I can't accept the iCloud "Terms and Conditions", so that I can turn off "Find my iPhone", so that I can delete his iCloud and add my own. Does anyone have any thoughts on how I should proceed? Sadly I don't have any way to contact the old owner or I would have done that.

The old owner will have to remove the device from his iCloud or you won't be able to use the device.

Trying to accept icloud terms of service from my MacAir.  Step 3 says: "After a moment, the latest iCloud Terms and Conditions should load."  They don't.  How to pull up terms of sevice when Apple instructions don't work?
Also, are "Terms of Sevice" and "Terms and Conditions" the same document?

You can access the store but ...
The Complete Guide to Using the iTunes Store
"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

MacBookPro1,1 can only run Mac OS X 10.6.8, as it has got a 32-bit processor.
If you order replacement DVDs, Apple will send you DVDs with the original Mac OS X version that came with your Mac, in this case, Mac OS X 10.4.5.
If you decide to get replacement DVDs, Apple will only charge you for the delivery

  • What happens if I don't accept the iCloud Terms and Conditions?

    Problem:
A lot of iPods had "Find My iPod" enabled in iOS7.
They've all been updated to iOS8, in a network that prevents internet connections to iCloud.
Now the iCloud settings show that we must accept the Terms and Conditions, and all other settings are greyed out.
I can't accept the Terms because of the firewall.
    Questions:
What will happen if I let the iPods as they are?
Will "Find My iPod" disable itself after a few days, or will it stay enabled indefinitely?
Is there a time limit to accept the Terms and conditions?
    Thanks for your help.

I got it to work by enabling cookies in safari settings and turning off private browsing. Cookies are probably the key thing here. Accept button will appear at bottom right of first screen of agreement.

  • Icloud terms and conditions not displaying

iCloud keeps asking me to either View or Not Now the Terms and Conditions for iCloud, but when I select View. the app just takes me to the settings area for iCloud? How do I either accept the Ts and Cs or stop this re-occurring?

    Hi Snapperhead
I might have found a solution to your problem in another discussion as it solved my problem.
Go to Settings>General>Region Format to correct your area. In my case though I'm located in Canada, it said United States & after correcting my area I'm up & running again now.
    Hope this helps, Todd
