  • TS4036 Can you change the iCloud backup date to a previous backup date?

Can you change the iCloud backup date? My iPhones processor went out and erased all of my information and saved that as my last iCloud backup, is there a way to restore my phone for the day before this happened to get all of my information back?

Long story short, I had to make a clean install of OS X (mountain lion) when I was outside my country, and if I can't show the guy at the customs back home that I purchased the macpro before making the trip, I'll have to pay taxes for it.
I could have filled the papers for that but I almost miss the plane and there was a long queue.

  • Regarding transitional data upload

    Hi All,,
Can anybody tell me what is transitional data and how to upload from legacy system to sap system.
And tell me how to upload recon a/c balances
    Regards,
    Srinivas

The full form of LSMW is Legacy System Migration Workbench. As the name specifies itu2019s a tool in SAP for migrating the legacy data to SAP system.LSMW is the transaction code used to start.
Commonly used importing technology in LSMW are
    Direct Input method
    Batch Input Recording
    BAPI Method
    IDOC method
In this tutorial we describes about the steps involved in creating an LSMW project for migrating the legacy data.
In LSMW we are doing the things in a step by step procedure and the next step screen will be automatically displayed after very step. Here are the steps involved in LSMW.
    Step 1: Maintaining Object Attributes
Here we are specifying about the project, subproject, object and importing technology (like batch input, IDOC etc.)
Choose maintain object attribute from the LSMW steps screen
    Choose Change
    Specify the Object
Specify the nature of data transfer that one time or periodic.
Select the object type and import technique.
Step 2: Maintaining the source structures
Here we define the structure of source.
Choose maintain the source structure from the LSMW steps screen
    Choose Change
Point your mouse on Source Structures
    Choose Create Structure
Enter the name and description for the structure
    Choose Continue
    Step 3: Maintaining Source Fields
After the creation of structure in step 2, in this step we are going to define each field in that structure.
Choose maintain source fields from the LSMW steps screen
    Choose Change
Point your mouse on the Source Structure where we are going to add fields.
    Choose Create Field.
Enter the field name, text, length and type
    Choose Continue
    Step 4: Maintaining Structure Relationship
Here we specify the relationship between the SAP structures and the source structures created in step 2.
Choose maintain structure relationship from the LSMW steps screen
    Choose Change
Point your mouse on the SAP structure ID.
    Choose Relationship.
Point your mouse on the corresponding source structure.
    Choose Continue
Choose check for finding any errors in relationship.
Step 5: Maintaining Field mapping and Conversion Rules
The mapping between SAP structure fields and source structure fields, and conversion rule is specifying in this step. Instead of manual mapping, auto field mapping option is also available.
Choose maintain field mapping and conversion rule from the LSMW steps screen
    Choose Change
Choose extras -> auto field mapping
    Choose the appropriate options
Step 6: Maintaining Fixed Values, Conversions and User-Defined Routines
Specifying the conversion rules for processing data. Here we specify the fixed values etc.
Choose maintain field mapping and conversion rule from the LSMW steps screen
Point the mouse on the field where we want to add rule
    Choose insert rule
The rules list will display. Select the rule.
    Set the indicator

Here we assign the specified files to the corresponding source structure.
Choose Assign  files from the LSMW steps screen
    Choose change
Point the mouse on a structure
    Choose Assign file
    Select the corresponding file
    Press Continue

  • ICal calendar sharing after iCloud transition

iCal calendar sharing after iCloud transition does not work the same. I would like to be able to share a calendar in web view as I was able to before...
I am still able to invite others who have iCloud to see my calendar, but not PC users or others who do not have similar software. I want a url for the calendar soe I can send it to a group to view only. This was possible before the transistion! Please help!

In your iPhone (or iPad) go to settings/general settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars and at the top under "Accounts" you will see "Subscribed Calenars" (not in the calendar section, above that at the top of the page)... click on the calendar you want to delete and do so from there.

  • Restore accidently deleted iCloud backup data

I accidently deleted one of three iCloud backup data and how can I get it restored?

I'm afraid that iCloud backups are not backed up.  If you delete a backup it cannot be restored.

  • Reversed iCloud "Document & data syncing" settings

    Hi there,
I do have a "really weired" problem.
Using 1 iPhone and 1 iPad (mine) and another iPhone (my wife's) on the same iCloud account.
    1) docs (i.e. GoodReader or Pages) generated on my iPad show up on my iPhone, but not on my wife's iPhone. So, my wife's iPhone seems to be "separated" from the other devices, even it's on the same "account".
    2) on my iPhone and iPad in "Settings -> iCloud -> Document & Data syncing" it has to be OFF to make Pages and GoodReader show iCloud. If I turn it ON, immediately there's no more iCloud availabe. So this setting is "reverse sensed".
What is more, when I go to "Settings -> iCloud -> Memory & Backup" all devices show the same "usage", only let's say 10MB used it Pages and GoodReader (which is true for my wife's iPhone) even on my iPad there's >10GB of files in GoodReader.
    All devices newest iOS.
When I found out files didn't sync to my wife's iPhone (which had the "reverse sensing settings" problem too), I deleted the iCloud account, used a differen account, deleted that too and activated my iCloud account again. That helped switch from "reverse" to "normal" settings.
This didn't help on the other devices (my iPhone and my iPad).
Is there any "RESET on the server-side" to get things running correctly?
    Thx & best regards,
    Peter

    Correction and one more explanation:
    Let's say, my wife's iPhone has in GoodReader -> iCloud -> Folder A (with 10 MB) of data-files, but doesn't see Folder B & C,
My iPhone & iPad both have Folders B and C with 1 (not 10) GB of data files, but cannot see Folder A. Everything that's created / moved / deleted shows on the other device (as iCloud is supposed to), but not on my wife's iPone at all.
And what is more, the "Settings -> iCloud -> Memory and Backup" on my two devices shows "10MB used in GoodReader" even if it's 1GB of data in there and "Documents & Data settings" is (and has to be) switched OFF.
At the Genius Bar in Munich Apple Store they were quite puzzled and said there is a Server-Reset, does anyone know how to contact iCloud support for that?
    Thx & best regards,
    Peter

  • 2 iphones using 1 iTunes account - iCloud transition?

My wife and I use the same iTunes account for both of our iPhones. I am concerned about what will happen when iCloud is launched.
Will the contacts, calendars, bookmarks, email accounts etc all merge, or will one of us lose our data? I don't think it will be possible to have different settings on different devices any more.
We both share the same user account on our computer too.
Think this is going to get messy!

Your iTunes account and iCloud are two different things. When iCloud launches, just have two separate accounts - one for you and one for your wife. When you create an iCloud account, all the info from Address Book, iCal, and Safari will be associated with that account (assuming that you're using a Mac). The only trouble I can see is that both of you are using one user account on the computer. I advise you to create a separate user account for you or your wife and separate the contacts, calendars, and bookmarks into the respective accounts.

  • HT202667 How do I combine 2 separate Apple IDs and all the iTune/iCloud purchases/data/access under one Apple ID, preferably my current one?

How do I combine everything from my deceased husband's one or more Apple IDs into my own 1 Apple ID ( preferably my current Apple ID)?  I want to maintain it all under 1 Apple ID; the data and access includes iTunes/Apps store purchases and major OS upgrade purchases, iCloud access and storage, and multiple email addresses. (I want to be able to reflect these references to his previous email addresses in my own Apple ID, if at all possible!).  Going back and forth between 2 different login/accesses on the same MacBook Pro is frustrating and confusing.
[I also need to do the same with all access to his files that he created and that are maintained on the hard drive and back up; Any suggestions are welcomed! ]
Could someone let me know if this is possible and if so, how best to initiate this migration?

    Apple ID's can't be merged.

  • I use a Win7 PC with iCloud and Outlook 2010 for syncing my calendar and contacts. I can enter data in my Outlook Calendar and it will appear in iCloud, but data entered in iCloud does not sync back to Outlook.  ICloud syncs to my iphone fine both ways.

I use Win 7 PC with iCloud and Outlook 2010 for syncing my Contacts and Calendar.  They have stopped syncing...mostly.
Now, appointments I enter on my local Outlook (iCloud) Calendar goes up to iCloud fine.  But, data I enter on iCloud directly does not come down to my local Outlook iCloud Calendar.  If I reboot the computer, the iCloud data shows up.
Also, Contacts I try to enter on my Outlook (iCloud) Contacts goes up to iCloud fine, but does not show up in my local iCloud Contacts.
All syncing works with my iPhone.
I have signed out of iCloud on PC.  I have stopped syncing and re-started.  No change.
I have an .aplzod folder for iCloud.  I have a separate Earthlink.net.pst email account in Outlook and a me.com.pst Outlook email account (which I don't actually use) listed under Data Files.
Any help would be appreciated.  Curious that Outlook will upload to iCloud but not receive downloads unless I reboot.  However, rebooting does not download the missing Contacts.
    Jim Robbins

    Hi Jim!
You've started off with some good troubleshooting steps, so let's see if we can take this a little further and figure out what the issue is with your iCloud contacts and calendars. I have two articles here that will help you troubleshoot this issue a little further, but the troubleshooting steps for both articles are exactly the same, so I will lay those out for you here:
Note: When using iCloud Control Panel 2.0 and later, iCloud Calendar event descriptions in Outlook 2010 do not support text formatting (bold, italics, or underline), HTML, images, or attachments. The contextual (right-click) menu has also been disabled.
If you are having trouble with a PC (with Outlook 2007 or 2010) and iCloud Calendar, try each of these steps, testing after each to see if the issue is resolved:
Verify that you are using a Windows configuration that is supported by iCloud. For more information, see iCloud system requirements.
When enabling Calendars in the iCloud Control Panel, part of the setup process is to copy your Calendars data from the default Outlook ".pst" file to iCloud, and then remove the Calendars from the ".pst" file by placing them in the Deleted Items folder in Outlook. The Calendars data is then stored in the iCloud data set within Outlook so that changes can be pushed to and from Outlook by iCloud. Be sure you are looking for your data within the iCloud dataset within Outlook after enabling Calendars in the iCloud Control Panel. The deleted files can be seen by viewing Deleted Items within your Outlook Folder List. This is not iCloud removing your data; iCloud simply copies your data into the iCloud data set and then removes the local Calendars data by placing it in the Deleted Items folder.
Make sure your computer is online. Attempt to view www.apple.com and iCloud.com. If you can't connect to the Internet, your iCloud calendars and events will not update in Outlook. Click here for more information about troubleshooting your Internet connection.
Open a secure website to test if you are online as is necessary for iCloud Calendar. This also tests if the ports 80 and 443 are accessible. Outlook requires port 443 access to iCloud in order to push and pull updates to and from the iCloud Calendar servers.
Verify that your iCloud member name is entered into the iCloud Control Panel pane. See iCloud Setup for more information about setting up iCloud on Windows.
Completely close and reopen the iCloud Control Panel.
If you recently made changes in Outlook and they are not moving to your other devices or vice-versa, click the Refresh button in Outlook.
Turn iCloud Calendar off and back on:
    Close Outlook.
    Open the Windows Control Panel:
In Windows 8, move the pointer to the upper-right corner of the screen to show the Charms bar, click the Search charm, and then click the iCloud Control Panel on the left.
In Windows 7 and Vista, choose Start menu > All Programs > iCloud > iCloud.
Remove the checkmark in the checkbox next to Mail, Contacts, Calendars & Tasks, and click Apply. Wait a few seconds, then replace the checkmark, and click Apply.
Open Outlook and test to see if the issue has been resolved.
Ensure the iCloud Outlook Add-in is active within Outlook.
    Outlook 2010:
    Open Outlook 2010.
    Click the File menu.
Click Options in the left panel of the Outlook window.
Click Add-Ins in the left panel of the Outlook Options window.
Look at the list of add-ins beneath "Active Application Add-Ins" and verify that the "iCloud Outlook Add-in" is listed.
For Outlook 2007, follow these steps to verify the iCloud Outlook Add-in is active
    Open Outlook 2007.
From the Tools menu, choose Trust Center.
Select Add-ins from the left column.
Look at the list of add-ins beneath "Active Application Add-Ins" and verify that the "iCloud Outlook Add-in" is listed.
For additional information about managing Add-ins with Microsoft Outlook, see this Microsoft support document.
Restart your computer. This may sound simple, but it does reinitialize your network and application settings and can frequently resolve issues.

  • Disable iCloud Documents & Data?

    Hi,
yesterday i got my iPad Air 2 and disable Documents & Data under Settings -> iCloud.
I only sync my contacts, so i disable everything there (not "contacts", but everything else).
After disabling everything beside "contacts", "Documenst & Data" is still shown under Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calander -> Accounts (iCloud: "Contacts, Documents & Data").
When going back to Settings -> iCloud, the setting (ON/OFF) for Documents & Data is gone! It is no longer in the List!
I have to logout from iCloud and Login again, then every setting in iCloud is back to standard (nearly everything is ON).
And "Documents & Data" is back in the list (ON).
When i disable it again, the entry disappears again! I can not turn it back on, however Documenst & Data" is still shown under Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calander -> Accounts (iCloud: "Contacts, Documents & Data")!
This is on every iOS-Device i tested it!
iPhone 4S from a friend, iPad Air 2, and the iPad Mini from my dad.
    Must be a bug?!?
    Some questions:
    1. Is there a way to really disable "Documents & Data" in iCloud?
    2. And where can i see which Documents & Data is stored in my iCloud?
    3. And is it possible to simply delete every Document & Data in the iCloud?
Can anybody help me with that questions?
    Thanks!
    Julia

It will delete all your data synced from iCloud, not the whole hard disk. You can turn off each service individually, so you can choose to keep your contacts, calendars, notes...

  • Stalled Set-up of iCloud - iPhone Data in iCloud Only, Not On PC - How To Fix?

I downloaded iCloud on my HP Pavilion dv9700 laptop running Windows Vista. The iCloud Control panel on my laptop is fine. I synced it with my iPhone 4 using my Apple ID and Password after creating my iCloud email address. At the iCloud Control Panel I clicked and put checks next to Bookmarks and Photostream and clicked on APPLY. The apply button faded out at this point in the process. After I long time the blue bar moved and said that I had 2.8GB storage left of 5.0GB. And the APPLY button was dark again I clicked on the MANAGE button and looked at the list of things (2+GB data) I have in iCloud.
I went back to the iCloud Control Panel and accidentally hit APPLY instead of CLOSE. My hard disk has been flashing forever 1 1/2 hours this time, way longer than the first time I hit APPLY. I think I'm stuck in some circular process. When I go to iCloud.com and enter my Apple ID and my Apple Password I see my name and one piece of email welcoming me to my new iCloud email. There is no data anywhere. No Data in my Calendar. No data in my Contacts. No data in my Reminder. No data in my Notes...and I have a lot of Notes, a lot of Contacts, a lot of appointments in my Calendar.
How do I get iCloud to stop whatever it has now been doing for nearly two hours and give me access to my data on my computer?
Thanks in advance for any help or advice given!
    Alex

You can create up to 3 alias addresses but you have to do this on icloud.com from your computer browser.  This article explains how: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2622.  Also, incoming email to an alias address will go to your current iCloud inbox so it really isn't a separate account; just a different email address for the same account.
Each iCloud account only has a single iCloud email account.  If you really want to set up another, you would need to add a secondary iCloud account by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud, then entering a different Apple ID to create the account.  You can then turn on Mail to create the new account.  Mail in secondary accounts, however, is fetch email, not push (which is only supported in the primary account).

  • MobileMe account split from AppleID during iCloud transition

I previously had an AppleID account under a non-Apple email address. Let's call it [email protected] I use this account for my iTunes transactions, Mac support, etc. It also paid for me MobileMe account, which we'll [email protected]
When I upgraded the [email protected] account to iCloud, somehow it got disconnected from the [email protected] AppleId and now I have two AppleIDs. This isn't particularly the end of the world, but is there a way to merge them? And, if there's not, how do I transition all of the digital assets associated with each account from one account to another?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately, OSX 10.6.8 will not support iCloud. You can use the mail address from the iCloud account with Snow Leopard bot not the rest of the iCloud features. You can access then via the web browser though at iCloud.com.
    To set up iCloud mail.
Delete your mail account from Mail preferences and set it up again using the Mail Server Information.
Some users have apparently encountered issues using this information in pre-Lion set ups (I haven't), Roger Wilmut has kindly provided instructions for those who find themselves with this problem.

Since the transition form MobileMe to iCloud, my Mail has been innundated with massive new spam -  medication sales and Vimeo false emails are especially numerous these days. Are others experiencing this? iCloud has burst open with a massive spam storm. This deluge of junk mail is unlike  anything I have ever seen. I am aftraid if there is no improvement, I may need to migrate yet again. This is intollerable. Curious what others are experiencing.

I have send several mails to [email protected] without any results.
Every day i got a SPAM mail from the same sender ... every day i forwarded that message to Apple.
On my iMac the mail go's to my spam-folder only it apears on my iPhone & iPad.
How to get this spammer out of my mailbox?
