I have a Samsung Convoy "dumb" phone, and I plan to keep it until Verizon forces me to some **** overpriced "smart" phone. Since they migrated Backup Assistant to "the Cloud", I am unable to print a hard copy list of contacts. The web site just runs you around in circles, never getting to the answer of how to print out contacts. I just installed 11.0.07 and since then have been unable to print pdf documents from websites displayed in I.E. 11 (32 bit). The problem did not exist until I installed the update. Opening the same sites with Chrome solves the problem, but some of the important sites I use, (FAA WebOPPS for instance) don't work with Chrome or anything other than I.E. for that matter. Does anyone know if Adobe is aware of the bug and working on a fix?
Let me put it in context.I am a developer, and in my work we create a flex application a few years ago and we are providing support to this application. Since 2 days ago th button we create in our application for View PDF just stopped working. We use this code:

Unable to print/display an expense report
One of our users just raised that she is unable to print/display the expense report. The user is getting a blank screen. Could anybody suggest what could be wrong for this issue to happen? Also, the user tried logging into a totally different machine and the user got the same outcome.
Could anybody please help with this?

Please check if the tray is minimized? or go to System Administration - Support - Portal Content Directory - Personalization Cleanup - in the subsequent screen select Principal and give the user name for which there is a issue and search, select the Logon ID and delete the personalization been done.
If this is not resolving the issue try assigning the Super Admin Role and see if it works, if it works then try assigning Everyone Role and check the same.
This should help to rule out the problem from Portal end.
As Siddharth was mentioning can you see if it works assigning SAP_ALL authorization, or do ST01 Trace and run the action and see if the user is missing any authorization.
It might be a case that the user have the proper role and with some or other role this is overwritten.

Despite numerous attempts at different times, I have been unable to print my contact list from the cloud. Has anyone actually been able to do this?
I select all my contacts (with a check mark), then try to print. I always get the following error message, which is pretty useless:
"Something happened while we were trying to print your request. Please give it another try." I give it another try, and get the same message.Tried that, but most of what appears in the spreadsheet is gibberish.
I suspect that the print option has never worked and never will. But thank you for trying to help. -

Unable to print table-style to-do list (Outlook 2013)
I can print the to-do list in memo style, but I don't want a separate page for each task -- I want a list. When I try to print the table-style list, nothing happens.

Please select To-Do List and go to Print page (File > Print), click
Print Options > Define Styles, highlight the
Table Style and click Reset button. Then test it again.

I am unable to print to a Canon iR-Adv C5045 from a MacBook Pro (OS X 10.9.4) that is connected to Windows NT computer and shared on the company network. I am connected to the network by ethernet.
I was able to add the printer manually by going to Advanced, Windows printer via spoolss, smb://computer name/printer name and used the Canon iR-ADV C5045/5051 driver.
When I print it appears to be printing but nothing comes out. I checked the completed jobs from the Print Queue and the job is listed. Checked the print log on the printer and it isn't listed. Is there a different driver I should be using for this configuration?You may not have a choice as to what driver you can use. If the ADV C5045 only has the default UFR2 printer kit, then you will have to use the UFR2 driver - which is what you are using now. If you can access the copier, press the Counter Check button on the control panel. Then on the display you will see an entry labelled Check Device Configuration. Select this and scroll down through the pages. You are looking for an entry called PS. If you see it then the Canon does have the optional Postscript printer kit enabled and this will let you use an alternate driver. One suggestion would be to create the printer again using the same setting that you have done already but this time select the Generic Postscript driver included with the OS rather than use the Canon driver. This will help to determine if the driver is the cause.
If there is no PS option you will have to use the UFR2 driver and this could be the problem, as the Canon drivers don't always work well on a Mac via a Windows share. As a test, are you able to create a print queue directly to the Canon rather than via the Windows share? If you can, then this will let you check if the driver currently installed will work, as there can be settings on the copier that can block/stop you from printing. Assuming that you can print to the Canon with a direct connection from the Mac, then we can work on getting the printing via the shared queue. But if it doesn't print directly from the Mac, then it confirms that it may not be the server and more to do with the copier. -
I am unable to print to a Lexmark C782 printer
I have been troubleshooting a print issue for 2 weeks. I have two iMac desktops. I am trying to print to Lexmark_C782 printers via ethernet. I have selected the printers through System Preferences>Printers and Scanners. When adding the printers I select the "+" sign, select the printer on the default tab. iMac finds the correct print driver (which I have downloaded and installed). I then select ADD and the printer is loaded into the print queue. I send a print job to the printer and a few things happen; 1, the print job disappears and never prints and the print queue shows nothing in the queue. 2, I will send a print job to the printer and the printer will display a 900 or 900.43 RIP software error or 3, on occasion it has printed (very rare). This same thing happens when using IPP and LPD. At this writing, I am unable to add printers using IPP, where as before I could. IPP doesn't find the printers. Apple is unable to find the printer. I can open the terminal window and ping the printer. I can open Safari and brtowse to the webpage of the printer.
There has not been any changes to the computer.

Toubleshooting steps
1. Deactivated Appletalk on printers. I have read it is no longer supported, Apple uses bonjour
2. I have downloaded and installed the Mac OSX print driver from Lexmark but found that wasn't the latest.
3. I have made sure the latest print driver is installed. Version 11.2. Found that on the Apple website
4. I have innstalled the printer via IPP, LPD and bojour
5. I have 18 C782 printers
6. I have a network at my office
16 workstations
The workstation i am working on is connected into a switch that is connected into another switch in the closet
All C782 printers are in one physical location with static IP addresses.
They are all connected into a 24 port switch which is then connected to another switch in a closet
Both switches are connected via different CAT 5 cables to the same switch in the closet.
7. I am trying to print from Adobe programs.
8. With the exact same setup I am able to print successfully from Windows 7 to all printers without any type of errors
All of the printers are printing images, creative fonts on greeting cards (Adobe In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc). Not sure if that matters but thought worth mentioning.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

<Personal Information Edited by Host>I talked to Adobe Support tonight and found this issue to be a known problem with some of the Adobe Cloud products when using older hardware, in this case the C782.
So, we found a workaround. Unfortunately the work around isn’t efficient and adds more steps to their normal printing routine
Open InDesign and create, modify delete the card
Select FileàExport
A window will appear. Pick the location you wish to save the file
Once the File is saved another window will appear
“EXPORT Adobe PDF”
An Export to Adobe PDF window will appear. Accept all defaults. MAKE CERTAIN “VIEW PDF
After EXPORTING” is CHECKED
Select Export
Once EXPORT is complete the file will open automatically in Adobe Acrobat
Most likely the screen will be very large
Select the + - sign at the top of the page to adjust the page size to view the image
Select FileàPrint
The Print window will appear
Select the printer from the drop down
# of COPIES is just below Printer
Select OK

Unable to print xml publisher report in excel format in R12

We are unable to print xml publisher report in excel format in R12. We were able to see the excel output but it's printing junk characters while printing and it's printing without any issue with PDF format.

with reference to the t.code FBL5N, I have a problem with the print of the output list of the report.
When I execute the print, I obtain one customer for each page printed.
I wonder if is possible to obtain more customers for each page printed.

Though personally i havent tried this option, check the same
Go to Menu: Settings >> Switch List
This will make the value displayed in ALV format and then try taking print outs.

How can I display a list of records from a JSP to my Midlet ??

I have created a Midlet that shoud display a certain list which is from the remote database. The list comes from a JSP file in the server. When I use the browser I can see the list.
The problem comes when I have to take the same list and output it in my midlet file. Then finding the selected index of the selecte item of the same list and using it somewhere else.
I would appreciate it if somone could help me !!

To try to resolve this problem, I have done the following actions.
1 - I have run Disk Warrior.
2 - I have repaired permissions.
3 - I have deleted all plist that are either Cannon or Adobe.
4 - I have downloaded and installed the lastest versions of Adobe Reader and the Cannon printer drivers.
I am still unable to print PDF's.
In Safari, I can print only the first page. In a multipage PDF, Safari only seems to recognize the first page.
In Adobe Reader, I get an error message from my printer: "/usr/libexec/cups/filter/pstocupsraster failed".
Any help would be greatly appreicated!Quit Safari.

Post the log text, please, not a screenshot. If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message. -
Printing XML Docs in List view created by XF builder
Hi,
I have an iview which displays a list of XML documents created using XMLForms. I want to add Print functionality in this iview. I tried adding a simple HTML link calling window.print() in the <project>RenderListItem.xsl file. It works fine. But the problem is that, the Print link gets displayed for each and every document.
I just want the Print link to be displayed only once. I tried giving the Link outside the <xsl:template match="DataModel"> section. But it threw an error.
Is there any way to display the Print link only once?
