ICloud under One Apple ID

I have created iCloud account on my iMac with my Apple ID (Gmail account) and the password. I included only the contacts and callendars, but now I would like to add Mail and Notes. When I try to check Mail check box, iCloud prompts me to get a new @me.com account. Is there a way to keep Contacts, Calendars and Mail under my original Gmail account on my mac and also iOS devices?

You don't sync devices through devices. You sync through iCloud or iTunes. If he has his own Apple/iCloud ID then he would be syncing through iCloud with that ID. On iTunes, he can use the same iTunes library as long as his ID has been authorized on the computer iTunes is running on.

I just got my iphone 5 and I setup a icloud [email protected] with the email address. I am also using this as my Apple ID now due to I could not use it in facetime or imessge without doing that. How do I setup a 2nd Free Icloud email account that will work with facetime and imessage within the same Apple ID.

You're confusing icloud and itunes store accounts. Individual users should have their own icloud accounts (using their Apple ID) but multiple users can share the same ID for logging into the itunes store account.

I have two devices under one apple ID, my sister's iPhone 4s and my own iPod touch 5. iMessages and FaceTime requests etc are being sent to both devices instead of the specific one it's meant to be sent to. For example, I am recieving the iPhone's iMessages on my iPod as well, when they are meant to be only sent to the iPhone. Remember this construct:
One Apple ID per individual; one device per Apple ID. If you have two devices you should have an Apple ID for each unless you want both devices to draw from the same iTunes Library. This is your situation now.
If you open iTunes and select one device to configure, then go through the configuration options for Apps, Music, etc. and select what you want synched to that device. Repeat the process for your other device. This is the best you can do to keep each device's configuration different.

You would need to go to Settings>iTunes & App Store, tap her ID, sign out, then sign back in with your ID. However, if she has turned on automatic downloads, download previous purchases or signed into an iTunes Match account using her current ID, she would have to wait 90 days from when she first did this to change to another ID. She can, of course, sync your music to her device using iTunes without changing her ID association.

you can do this with no problems. i have several 4 ipads/iphones all using the same apple account with no issues. in itunes you can choose which apps go to each ipad/iphone - by default all apps go to each, but you can turn this off and choose what you want. a bonus of using the same account is that if you do want the same app, you only have to buy it once.

Tell your wife to get her own Apple ID. If you do not want continuity/handoff to work with calls, on both devicesgo to Settings==>>FaceTime==>> Turn OFF iPhone cellular calls.

How do you find out what apps have been downloaded to what phone with 5 lines under one apple ID? HELP Nobody from the stores know how to do it.

How can you get a list of apps that were downloaded from each indivudal phone? The are under one Apple ID. Ex: Phone #1234 has downloaded Facebook and Twitter. Phone # 4567 downloaded Angry Birds and Temple Run. Etc. Even the people at ATT and Apple don't know how to retrieve it.

There is no such list of what is downloaded to each phone except in the backup. So if you have a recent backup of each phone you should be able to find an app that reads the backup files and would tell you what list is saved of the content on each phone.

I'm asking because I purchased an app with an id that has been cancelled so I cannot update that particular app. I can purchase the app with my new id but I don't want to do so if its going to erase all the data I have with the previous purchase...
