ICloud Window Zoom Help
I use Google chrome. Whenever I go onto my mail on iCloud, it says that the window zoom is not supported, but on each tab that is opened is on 100% zoom. Is there any way to get this window to stop popping up, because the zoom is 100%, like it says to change it to.

Hold Sleep and Home buttons for 10 seconds until your device restarts, so you will be able to use your device again. After that, open Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup, and make a backup. The iPad will be backed up onto iCloud when it's plugged to its charger and connected to a network

Can I turn off, or remove myself my iCloud account, without losing all my documents on my iMac? My iCloud window popped up unexpectedly, and am worried about a hacker. When I try and sign out of iCloud, The iCloud window is giving me a message that "If you turn off Documents & Data, all documents stored in iCloud will be removed from this Mac". I have iMac OS X 10.7.5, 2.7ghz, Intel core i5. I don't use my iCloud service, and I somehow my iPhone linked it to my computer by mistake. I don't want the service or need it, & don't want my info in cyberspace. I don't want to lose my documents on my hard drive, and it appears that I haven't used any data in iCloud, as 5GB of 5GB is available. HELP.
I would love to hear that Apple has remedied this problem. From other discussion strings that I am following related to this issue, it seems thus far we remain out of luck. I did discover that if I log onto iCloud.com I can access my files that way. Still, what a pain.
When I got the message re iCloud Drive as I was setting up my phone after the update to iOS8, it said I wouldn't be able to access my files unless all of my devices were running iOS8 OR Yosemite. That message was misleading as it really should have said all devices need to be running iOS8 AND your mac needs to be running Yosemite, as it was not an "either or" situation. So frustrating... -
HT4847 can't open preferences because iCloud window won't close
hi , im new to macs , very new , and im trying to open my preferences but when i do , i get a window with icloud , that wont close , it just shows the orange light , no green , no red , just orange . and when i do press the orange option it just puts it into stack , then i try to open preferences again and instantly the icoud window appears and wont let me cose , its even got the box with ' done ' to click , but nothing happens when i click the done box , im frustrated because i cant do nothing to my references because of this icloud window that wont quit , even open icloud and tried to quit but it wont because of this window.thankyou beforehand for any help ,im new and desparate thankyou john.

The documents aren't replacing each other - what you're experiencing is the new "tabbed windows" feature in CS4. Next time you try to open 2 documents, look at the bottom of the "Window" menu and you'll see that both documents are actually open. Then look at the window's title bar and you'll see two "tabs", similar to what some web browsers do with multiple open windows. Just click on the tab of the window you want in the foreground.
If you'd prefer to go back to the CS3 method, go to "Preferences>Interface" and un-check the "open documents as tabs" checkbox. -
Trying to select the Calendar check box in iCloud window and then it asks me If I want to merge I hit ok and the it tries to ad see spinning fan icon and then just quits and is then unchecked. Does Anyone have a solution to fix this? It works just fine on all other 5 Macs I have. I have tried to sign out and in and even restart the computer. I am running Yosemite on all 6 of my Macs.
Search the web or help doco about the Captivate feature called Return to Quiz. It will do what you are looking for here according to your description. There's even a Youtube video from a year or two back that shows how it works.

Be sure you are checking the email account that you used to set up the Apple ID you used to create the iCloud account. Also, be sure to check your spam/junk folder as well as your inbox. The email you should receive looks like the image below. When you get it, click the Verify Now link.
If it still isn't there, try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right look for a link to resend the verification email. -
I change my apple Id and password in the Apple's website but I can change it in my Iphone. How can i change my Icloud ID ? Help!!!
To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I recently removed an outlook account and now all of my calendar events are missing. The majority of them were added from my iphone 4s. How do I retrieve the events? Backing up with iCloud did not help, as I assumed it would.
Outlook is a mail client for PC's (and Macs). It is not a type of account. Do you mean an "Exchange Account"?
If so, then re-add it. The calendar events live on the Exchange Server. The only way to get them back is to re-add the account to the phone. The contents of Exchange and IMAP accounts are not part of the 'backup' as they already exist elsewhere. -

Look at the dock connector. Look for abnormalities like bent or corroded contacts, foreign material and cracked or broken plastic -

hello forum it seems as if i have miss understood something about installing C:\AS10gNT_Disk1,2,3.
1: i have unziped all the 3 zip files in there respectivelly folders.
for examples.C:\AS10gNT_Disk1\Disk1.
i have oracle 9is db installed on my pc,
so in a previous maill somebody adviced me, plus the installation errors showed me that i could't installed it in C:\oracle\ora92 witch is where I have oracle9is db installed.
Then I was told that I could just give any new oracle_home and path.
but this is not working for me.
when I run oracle universal installation.

actually I can only tell how it worked for me. I unzipped all zips into teh same directory and ended up with
d:\stage\disk1
d:\stage\disk2
d:\stage\disk3
Then I started the installer from disk 1 and follwoed all teh instructions. I did specify an Oracle Home as OracleAsInfra for the infrastructure to be in d:\OracleAsInfra and similar for teh Midtier OracleAsMidtier to be in d:\OracleAsMidtier
The rest ran smoothly

Unresolved bug in adobe reader x with non-default windows zoom level

I am using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit with Firefox 12.0 and Adobe Reader 10.1.3. Here is a description of the problem:
Whenever I open any PDF file in a browser (firefox or IE) using the adobe reader I am unable to select text, save the file or interact with the content in any meaningful way because the plugin does not recognise my cursor position. If I click on some text in a PDF document, the reader will immediately highlight a region of text between where I clicked and where it thinks I started clicking from (above 20% of the screen above and to the left of where I actually clicked on the page). If I roll my mouse over the region where the dashboard normally appears, the dash does appear as intended and the cursor changes in response to hover over buttons, as if everything were working, but I am unable to click on anything (clicking does nothing). If I click and hold the dashboard when it appears, it immediately jumps to another region of the page, as if it thinks I moved the mouse (20% up and to the left again). I have recently reformatted and am now using a fresh install, and the issue remains. My desktop zoom level in windows is 150%. The problem appears only inside the browser; viewing PDFs directly in Acrobat Reader X works without issue.
I can resolve the problem either of two ways:
a) Reverting back to the default windows zoom level (125%).
b) right-clicking on the Adobe Reader X icon, navigating to the compatibility tab and clicking "Disable Display Scaling on high DPI settings"
The workaround is easy but it's disappointing that adobe hasn't fixed this. Please consider that it would mostly affect individuals who are vision impaired and might not have the know-how to resolve the problem or check for solutions online, let alone post comments such as this. As far as I can tell this problem severely impaires the functionality of adobe in any browser on any non-standard zoom windows installation.Please be sure to post your issue in the following Feature Request/Bug Report Form.

Why are iTunes, View, Window, and Help menu items disabled?
I am frequently encountering an issue in iTunes 10.5 (141) where all the menu items in the iTunes, View, Window, and Help menus are disabled (greyed out). Why is this happening and can it be stopped?
I've seen this issue on different Mac OS X 10.7.2 machines. It seems to occur during playlist manipulation, where I'm making new playlists, adding items to them and editing them and the items. In the worst cases, I'm forced to quit and restart iTunes, although I have to quit by using the context menu option in the Dock as the Quit option is disabled in the application.
I'd appreciate any advice on workarounds for this that don't involve quitting and restarting iTunes.I'm also having the same issue. It was happening with 10.5.1 and now still with 10.5.2. I'm using a 2008 iMac running 10.6.8. I do not use iTunes Match. This seems to happen for no apparent reason i/o/w, I can't determine a pattern as to when it happens, but it occurs about once in every 10 times that iTunes is open and it seems to happen after it's been open for a while, but again, no particular pattern.
Sometimes, all the menu items are grayed out, and other times, 70% of the menu items are grayed out. I can still use the other functionality in iTunes, but must must Quit from the dock (it quits gracefully and no Force Quit is necessary). Relaunching restores eveything to normal for about a week.
I work with technical diagnostic issues and can usually pinpoint a problem, isolate an issue, or determine a pattern, but this one has me stumped. I thought 10.5.2 might fix it, but no. Maybe 10.5.3? -
Any Time I Open iTunes My Computer Comes Up With A Message Saying "Data Execution Prevention - Mircosoft Windows To Help Protect Your Computer, Windows Has Closed This Program" We Have Trend Micro Internet Security Titanium But It Appears To Be Windows Stopping iTunes.
Right click My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Performance: Settings > Data Execution Prevention > Add iTunes to be let through
