No. You can use a file sharing site like DropBox and have a different folder that only they can access for people you want to share file with.

Hi, hoping someone can help?
Next week I will be working 3 days in the office and 2 from my home in Leeds.
I have 2 iMacs - one for each location.
I was wondering whether there's a way of setting up iCloud with my work email address in order to sync my emails on both machines? I have to refer to my emails quite a lot in my job and it will be rather frustrating to have some one one machine and the rest on the other.
Oue email server is POP only. I use Apple Mail on both machines.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Work has our mail server settings set to 'remove from server immediately' - so I would have some on one and not the other as they will have already been collected.
Does the mail folder need to be in the library folder (or wherever it is - I'm on my PC at the moment so can't see where the actual folder is located) - or can i move it? I have a dropbox account and was just wondering whether i could pop it in there?

No, you can only sign into an existing iCloud account on a PC, you cannot create one. What that button does is sync your tabs between your devices. So if you have multiple macs with Mountain Lion and/or devices with iOS 6 (once it comes out this fall) you can pick up where you left off. For example, let's say I have apple.com, nytimes.com, and facebook.com open on my mac, but I need to run. Later, if I need to use another computer in my household, I can just restore the tabs that I was using before on this other mac.

Cannot login to iCloud with Yosemite

Hi everybody,
a few weeks ago I updated my iMac to Yosemite. It all works fine except that I cannot login to iCloud with my wife's account.
When she logs in into her iMac account it sometimes appears a Mac configuration screen. It seems that everything's ok, because
the configuration finishes without error message, but when I look into the System Preferences -> iCloud her iCloud account is not active.
When I try to login with her ID a message appears "You can't sign in at this time. Please try again later."
It also doesn't work when I go into the System Preferences -> Internet Accounts and try there to login into iCloud.
It really bothers me because I didn't find a solution. And also I don't understand why it works with mit ID on my iMac account.
There is no problem to login with her ID on the Apple page, I've already tried that.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
1. Sign out of your account
(If you are unable to do this because System Preferences has frozen, Force Quit System Preferences and try again)
2. When prompted, opt to delete, contacts, calendars etc from your Mac.
(You are only deleting this data from your Mac, not from iCloud, the data will be reinstated when you log back in. If you need to check that the data is in iCloud before deleting it go to iCloud.com and check each section for data)
3. Having logged out, check that the iCloud accounts along with their data have disappeared from the Mail, Address Book and iCal Applications.
(If necessary, delete the iCloud accounts from each of these application separately from each Applications Preferences)
4. At this point it may be worth trying to log into iCloud from the System Preferences iCloud settings again, if this works, all well and good, if it doesn't continue to step 5.
5. Open your User Library folder in the Finder. (When in the Finder, go to the Go menu, hold down the option key (alt) and choose Library when it appears in the Go menu)
6. Navigate to Library > Application Support > iCloud and drag the iCloud folder to your desktop. (This action only copies the folder and will provide you with a back up)
7. Select the iCloud folder again in Library > Application Support and drag it to the trash, enter your administrators password when prompted.
8. Restart your computer.
9. You should now be able to enter your ID and Password in system Preferences > iCloud and log into your account. Check the services you wish to use and once you are satisfied it's working as it should, trash the iCloud folder you copied to your desktop earlier.

The reason i asked this question is because i have been wondering this a lot ever since i got an exchange on this ipod (and ive only had it for a few weeks now) because my last ipod had a lot of problems. so after i restored my ipod with my computer/itunes, i downloaded apps that i wanted, and then when i went to the storage to see how much storage was left, it said 0 bytes. i was freaking out because i didnt know how that could be, i mean, cause like, that is impossible when i just 'purchased' it, that the space was full but i looked and all my pictures were on this ipod and i already put them on my computer so i dont need them anymore thats why i wanna reset it now so there is nothing on it so i can have more space for stuff to do and download on it.
it is updated to iOS 8 but that happened when i purchased it, so i didnt have a choice to update it even though i didnt want to update to iOS 8...

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. How can I get all of my calendars and recurring events to synch via iCloud with my iPad2?

Not all of my recurring events sych via the iCloud with my Mac and IOS devices - most specifically my iPad2. For example, my anniversary appears on my Mac and my iPhone, but not on my iPad2.
I notice that when I click on "Calendars" when the iCal app is open in my iPhone I get 2 lists of calendars - one that is labled "On my iphone" and the other that is labled "iCloud". The same two lists appear in the iCal app on my Mac. But on my iPad2 the only list that appears is "iCloud".
Can anyone help with this issue?

Welcome to the Apple community.
Contacts aren't backed up and therefore aren't restored from a back up either. They are synced with the cloud, so after you have restored your device you should be able to sign back into your account and turn syncing back on again. If you need to check if your contacts are in the cloud, go to iCloud.com on a computer.

Your iTunes login doesn't have to be the same as your iCloud login. Use one Apple ID for iTunes and share it with your family, and create another for iCloud and keep it to yourself.

There is no featured tab in my iTunes store. . . and everywhere it shows me signed in. I had downloaded an app for my mother on HER ipad, and that is the only app I have done for her. It shows up on my phone, and now I cannot update any of my apps. I uninstalled that app on my phone, but when I want to update ones I have installed on my phone with my appleid, she keeps showing up.
