ICloud won't accept my AppleID
Trying to setup iCould on my Mac Pro running Lion 10.7.3. I go into System Preferences, click on iCloud, enter my AppleID and password. Get message "Verify Your Account. This Apple ID’s email address cannot be verified. Change your Apple ID’s email address at appleid.apple.com to sign in to MobileMe." I have verified that I can sign into iTunes with this AppleID. I may have had a .me or .mac account long ago, but haven't used it in years. Not sure what to do.
@Hackintosh-Thanks for sharing your thoughts, he was in fact a Senior Advisor. And yes, I totally agree with on all your points. He was out of line and not understanding clearly what the sitatution and principle was about. I am not a sucker, anymore that is, lol. I wouldn't let of course and called again. Fortunately, the Advisors I spoke to both said to your point an exception should be made on my favor.
I was then able to work with a Senior Advisor and did all kinds of stuff and agrees, the situation is completely out of the users league and relates to the Preferences inability to save changes to login and make changes for the mail system too. What we found interesting was the fact that we logged out and logged in another test user and logged in with my apple id just fine. We saw iCal download from iCloud and seen it work, weird. But because the issue was about the master Admin computer login, we needed the fix on that account, not the test account. We were on it for say an hour all over the system trying to get it to work, but now it has been escalated to the engineers and designers to get a deeper look into it. I suggested to somehow trace the connection to server since the server is rejecting the password, that should be the mode of investigation.
Anyways, he said it could take up to 4 calendar days to resolve, will update with further progress.

Go to System Preferences>iCloud, click Sign Out, choose Delete at all of the prompts, restart your Mac then go back and sign back in. Note: this only removes the iCloud data from your Mac but not from iCloud. Your data will reappare on your Mac when you sign back in, after a brief delay as it redownloads.

Thanks in advance for ANY Feedback!You can download PDF files from iWork's page to a mac, but you can't upload from mac. Also, you can't use iCloud like MobileMe's iDisk. Most document formats on your mini can't be copied to iCloud. Use Dropboc instead.

The icloud pop up keeps showing up and won't accept my my appleid, even after I've changed it and have rebooted the ipad numerous times!!! I'm almost to the point of smashing this thing into pieces.

ICloud won't accept my email address in "set up"
I'm trying to set up iCloud and it requires that my apple ID must be an email address.My old ID wasn't an email address and when I try to replace it with my regular email address iCloud refuses it because it won't accept primary or recovery addresses.I'm planning to get an iCloud address once I have iCloud set up. How do I get past this catch 22?
You only have one e-mail? You unhappy because you may need to create e-mail with less characters? To be honest you surprised me, I have never seen that message, I suppose if you tell us how many characters the least we (users like you) can do is to say if we have seen or not longer e-mail addresses.

When I try to access my iCloud account from my iPhone 4 it will not accept my password, and then freezes the phone. I have to reboot it to get it working again.

Email on iCloud won't accept normal password. Ideas?
My "me.com" mail account on iCloud has been working fine since I migrated it over many months ago. Suddenly, on July 24 I started getting a pop-up asking me to enter my password, and the password that has worked for many months will no longer work.
Has anyone else solved this problem?I'm having same problem in the US....says password is wrong. The exact same thing happened to me on the 7th, ealier of this month. I tried everything to fix but had no luck. Then, magically, just like with "a.one" it started working again. It was out for about 5-6 hours. As for today, mine hasn't been working since about 12pm Central Time US.....and is still NOT working..

after an iOS update to 8.1.2 on my iPad mini and iphone 4s iCloud drive won't stop upgrading. I have tried everything on the support forums and what Apple suggested to do. icloud won't accept my password on my devices but will on pc and it will work on iTunes, face time and App Store. This has been going on for approx two weeks and is getting rather frustrating. Has any one else had the same problem and if so have you been able to rectify it???
Try some basic troubleshooting:
(A) Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
(B) Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
(C) Setup as new (data will be lost if you do not have backup)
Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings
