ICloud won't download on Windows 8.1-- Any suggestions
I have been trying to download my ICloud onto my Windows8.1 OS. It installs then uninstalls. I can not figure out how to fix this. Please let me know if there are any suggestions to help me.....
You may need to get an app to unzip 7z. The extracted contents plus file 2 need to be placed in the same folder and set-up should then work.

If you don't see them on your purchased list, make sure that you are signed in with the Apple ID you used to purchase them in Settings>iTuens & App Store. Then redownload them by opening the App store app on your phone, tap Updates at the bottom, tap Purchased at the top, then tap Not on this iPhone at the top.

I am on Windows XP. Updated to latest iTunes but it would not install. Tried again and the system hung. I did a restart and iTunes had completely vanished from my system. Tried to do a new install but it won't finalise. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
OK, lets do a complete overhaul to make sure it's working ok.
First to check your Windows system file for any corruption:
Go to command prompt (START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES right mouse click "command prompt" and choose "Run as Administrator"
type in
sfc /scannow
let Windows fix any system files that need to be repaired.
Restart the computer.
Start iTunes and see if it is ok.
If it doesn't, will have to go through the whole process of uninstalling and installing acccording to the following steps:
1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:

Be aware that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall over.
2. You should remove all instances of iTunes and the rest of the components listed below:
it may be necessary to remove all traces of iTunes, QuickTime, and related software components from your computer before reinstalling iTunes.
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order:
iTunes
QuickTime
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)

3. Reboot your computer. Next, download iTunes from here:http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and install from scratch -
I have several iCloud shared photo streams . They all download fine into my iPhone, but one doesn't download into my MacBook. Any suggestions?
Tried that too over the weekend,I unchecked the Photos option in iCloud preferences in System, let iPhoto do it's thing, then restarted the Mac, and turned iCloud Photos back on again... it looked promising the first hour... but then stopped downloading 20 or so albums. I have over 80 shared albums created over the years.
Also, the albums it did download, sometimes they're not even complete nor in any particular order.
I did exactly what you did. It took two days, but slowly all shared streams came back.
If the photo streams do not reappear, try if removing the content of this folder will help: It contains the photos downloaded from the shared streams. Perhaps one photo is corrupted.
~/Library/Application Support/iLifeAssetManagement/assets/sub-shared/
Quit iPhoto
Move the folder above from your User Library to the Trash.
Restart your Mac. -
My daughter and I share the same iCloud. We should be able to share apps and music downloaded however we cannot. Any suggestions?
The ability to share purchased apps and other media is based on your iTunes store ID (the one in Settings>iTunes & App Store), not your iCloud ID.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings. -

I would first try a reset of the device. To reset a device, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. You may need to attempt this multiple times.

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with Wi-Fi on your iPhone. I recommend the following article and specifically steps 4 and 6 for the situation you described. Try shutting off by holding down the home and power button at the same time. Once turned back on you can try downloading again. Be sure you have at least 50% of battery life before starting.
