ICM router OOSVC

Hello Everyone
I am facing router sync problem at a customer side
RouterA is INSVC with PG's 3/3 and Router B showing OOSVC
rb-rtr Peripheral CVP4 (ID 5004) is on-line.
02:04:17:122 rb-rtr Peripheral CVP4 (ID 5004) still in time interval 03/15/2012 21:00 ( reporting interval: 30).
02:04:17:231 rb-rtr Start PD accepted from peripheral CVP2 (ID 5002).
02:04:17:232 rb-rtr Start RC accepted from routing client CVP2 (ID 5002).

02:04:18:231 rb-rtr Start PD accepted from peripheral CVP1 (ID 5001).
02:04:18:231 rb-rtr Start RC accepted from routing client CVP1 (ID 5001).
02:04:18:231 rb-rtr Start RC accepted from routing client CVP1 (ID 5001).
02:04:22:825 rb-rtr PG has reported that peripheral CVP3 (ID 5003) is not operational.
02:04:22:825 rb-rtr ACD/IVR CVP3 (ID 5003) is off-line and not visible to the Peripheral Gateway. Routing to this site is impacted.
Any idea?
If i stop routerA, routerB goes insvc and routerA shows OOSVC

MFR

Have a look at the MDS processes on your Routers, you'll find that that one is in Isolated Enabled and In Service, the other in Isolated Disabled and Out Of Service. Your private network between the Routers is down or there is some other issue preventing both routers from communicating over the private network.
Cheers,
Kris

  • ICM Router & Logger Private Network connectivity

    Hi,
Can any one give me clarification on the following
Is there any private network connectivity betwen ICM router and Logger ?

No, call routers (central controller) communicates between side A and B over private network for synchronization, so do PG pairs. Loggers receive data from local call router over public traffic.

  • Cisco EIM/ICM Routing Priorities?

I have a question about the logic that is used for routing and queueing e-mails in Cisco EIM when integrated with ICM.  If there are agents responding to e-mails that are assinged to multiple user groups, what is the logic used to assign those e-mails?  Both groups are using the same SLA's in the workflows and are set to a skill priorty of "0" in ICM.  I have agents who recieve older e-mails from one skill group after they receive newer e-mails on another skill group.  How do you make all skill groups equal so that the oldest mails are always getting answered 1st? or does it have to do with the volume recieved in each skill group?  Any insight would be helpful as I can not find any documentation on this.  Thanks.

When an EIM "queue" is integrated to ICM, the mapping is through the script selector / dialed number.
Following the mantra "Dialed Number - Call Type - Scheduled Script", an email coming into EIM will generate a NEW_TASK request through the PG, up to the router and run the script. Now standard ICM skill group rules come into play. If agents are in two different skill groups, and your scripting is correct, they should get the oldest call from either skill group. I haven't had a problem with this particular aspect of EIM, but it's a complicated beast and seems to have some quirks.
Skill priority is 1 to 10, with 1 being the highest. Are you sure you are using zero?

  • Maximum concurrent task load for UCCE/ICM multimedia/media routing

Is there a place In ICM to configure the maximum concurrent load for multimedia (such as email, chat) for MR? I'm trying to find out such a paremters but I can only find out the 'interruptable' settings for the media routing domain/media class. I thought to use MR to route email/chat there should be somewhere to decide how many tasks one agent can receive and that should be configurable. Anyone can help, please?
    Thanks.

Thanks, Geoff. I understand we can set the load in EIM/WIM since I've done a few EIM/WIM projects and implemented such settings. However in a case where another third party application instead of EIM/WIM needs to be integrated with ICM over MR interface, do you mean we will need to implement that load settings on the third party application side? I'm trying to understand how it works here. I think that ICM router has to have the knowledge about the agent's current load and the number of load it's allowed for the channel to do an accurate routing. If that's not defined in ICM then it might be passed by over MR interface? I don't see how the third party chat/email application can manage that settings all by itself without ICM's involvement.
So if the third party application  is passing the MAX load setting to ICM then is there a default value ICM can use if that value failed to be passed from outside?
    Thanks.

  • RONA How To? with CVP 7.0 and ICME 7.5

I need some help determining how to do RONA when running CVP 7.0.
We are running ICME 7.5 and CVP 7.0
We use SIP from the ingress gateway to the CVP
call server when the call comes in.
The ICME 7.5 install and config states that for the Agent Desktop Settings:
Ring No Answer Number: Enter the ICM DN associated with the ICM routing script that youwant to use to reroute a call that an agent has not answered. If you are deploying Unified CVP,leave this field blank.
We always had a Dialed Number in the RNA so call swould get rerouted to our RNA ICM script and routed to the intended skill group.
The guide also talks about a "No Answer Timeout for Router Requery" setting in CVP, how? where? in 7.0?
I also found a reference to that setting in the cisco wiki (link below) excerpt below:
Check the RONA timers and reconfigure times. There are three system timers that affect RONA behavior:
Unified CVP - In VBAdmin, use SetRNATimeout to specify the number of seconds that the agent phone should ring before the call is taken away from the agent. This timeout must be longer than the Ring no Answer timeout set in the Agent Desktop settings. Use ShowRNATimeout to display the current timeout value. You must restart the Voice Browser for a setting change to take effect.
Agent Desktop settings - set from ICM Configuration->Enterprise->Agent DeskSettings->Ring no Answer Time. Ring no Answer Dialed Number must not be set. Set the timeout to the maximum time for the agent to answer a call, for example 2 rings = 8 seconds. This timer value should be set to a shorter time than the CVP RNATimeout.

Is the CVP Voice Browser Configuration Utility still used.

  • How to save ICM data to an SQL DB

    Hello,
I know it is possible in UCCE to retrieve SQL data to use in ICM routing, but is there a way to store ICM data into an SQL database in order that other applications can retrieve that data?
Here's what we're trying to accomplish. We would like an ICM script to collect data from a caller using the IVR to actually collect the data then have ICM store that into temporary variables. We would then like ICM to store those temp vars into an SQL database so that another app can look at that table for that data and populate it's screens.
    Is this possible?
We are running UCCE 7.1(5) with CRS (IVR) 4.0(5)
We have IVR scripts to collect the data and ICM scripts to store this collected data into ICM variables, but now I need to know how to store them into an SQL table.
Any help with this will greatly be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Joe Mattia

    David,
that is exactly what I was hoping to hear. Thanks.
I've spent the most part of today working with a test IVR script to accomplish the simple task of saving to an SQL DB and I'm getting there slowly.
I created a test SQL DB, configured the database subsystem on the IVR server, used the Get Digit String command to prompt the user to enter a customer number, then used the DB Read followed by DB Write to save that value into a DB field. I was successfull in saving a forced value, but now I'll try saving the user's input and see how that goes.
The first time I tested this, it saved the value, but any time after that, it didn't work and now I can't even open up that SQL table. It appears to be locked.
I also think I didn't set up a proper primary key on the test DB, that could be causing this issue as well.
Do you happen to have an example of this type of IVR script?

  • ICM Partition In Call Manager

    Hello,
Do all the DNs in ICM have to be in the same partition in CallManager? Because some calls parked from the ICM extensions cannot be retrieved on non-ICM extensions, which are in a different partition.
    Thanks,
    Matt

    No.
Partition design often dictates a separation of contact center and non-agent phones.
The reason is we do not want a non-agent to be able to call an agent on their contact center extension - possible call collision with ICM routed calls. Often agents have two lines, the CC line in one partition and the private line in another partition. If there are geographies involved (say virtual contact centers through CVP) then CC lines could be in a branch-specific partition while private lines and non-agent phones are in a company-wide partition.
So, although I am not familiar with your problem, I am not surprised.
Let's see if I have this correct - an agent receives a call through the ICM Router, and they talk to the customer and the agent determines that a non-agent (back office person) knows how to help. They start a transfer to this person (customer goes on hold) but get a busy signal.
They get the customer back and ask them if they want to be parked on the target phone. Customer says yes, so the agent starts a transfer to the call park point (fuzzy here) and completes the transfer, getting out of the loop.
Non-agent realizes they have a call park (do they?), finishes current call, tries to retrieve from park but cannot.

  • Query Skill Group - Translation Route mapping from Routing Script

    Hi,
Is there a way we can query against the individual routing scripts and extract the PSG-TR mapping?
In ICM we can map any particular Peripheral Skill Group (PSG) to a specific Translation Route (TR) defined on the same Peripheral Gateway through ICM routing scripts.
The PSG and TR are both configured through ICM configuration manager and the details are stored in the ICM DB which can be queried against.
However the mapping between the PSG and TR is done through a routing script using Script Editor.
We would like to make an SQL query where we can see PSGs associated to a Translation route on Routing Scripts.
Product: Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE)
    Version: 8.5(4)

Hi Gergely - how would you then query this data if you required it? Is there a way to map the PSGs to the Translation routes they are associated to?
    Thanks!

  • Import configuration and ICM scripts into ICM 7.5X

    Hi all.
I just want to find out if it is possible to export configuration & ICM routing/ Admin scripts from ICM 6.0 into ICM 7.5X? I understand that there is an import/export function in the ICM script editor. Can I just export the scripts from ICM script editor 6.0 and import them into ICM script editor 7.5X?
    Appreciate any comment and advice.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Eric

When you use the EDMT to upgrade your Logger database to be compatible with the 7.5 Schema, all your scripts will be converted. So nothing to do here.
If you have a 7.5 system (say in the lab) and want to try to export a script in .ICMS format and try to import into a 7.5 script editor, it may very well work. Never tried it myself. You sure have to have a bunch of config in place before importing any script otherwise "unresolved" references - and you can deal with that.
    What is your aim?

  • Abandoned calls in IVR Campaign

    IVR Outbound Camnapign.
    Settings:
"Cisco Config Manager" --> "Outbound Option Campaign" --> "Abandoned call waiting time" =10 sec.
To the person the call arrives (from IVR Campaign), the person hears the first IVR prompt, further in 5 seconds the abonent dropped call.
The system marks such call as "Customer answered and was connected to agent" (code 10)
It is necessary for me to receive a code:
"Customer has been abandoned to an IVR (code 21)"
It important for this purpose that the system would redial.
How it is correct for settings?
    ICM 7.2.7
    IPIVR 3
    CCM 4

    Hi all,
Sorry for attending late this interesting topic. I also have concern about this issuse. We found it difficult to manage the answerer's attitude. We cannot point out how many calls that were not answer at the a specific IP phone ( the call that had ring out at that IP phone).
If you can, pls clarify the meaning of: Calls Error  concept.
    *Completed Tasks: Calls  Error
The number of calls for this Call Type that had errors  or were incomplete during the half-hour interval.
    Derived from: Call_Type_Half_Hour.ErrorCountToHalf +  Call_Type_Half_Hour.IncompleteCallsHalf  +  Call_Type_Half_Hour.AgentErrorCountToHalf
Are there any differences between Aban Call and Calls Error?
    Aban Ring
For voice: the total number of calls that were  abandoned while the agent’s phone was ringing.  For non-voice: the total number  of tasks that were abandoned while being offered to an agent.
    Derived from:  Agent_Skill_Group_Half_Hour.AbandonRingCallsToHalf
    Aban Hold
The number of ICM routed calls to the agent that  abandoned while the call was on hold and/or the number of paused tasks that the  agent ended during the interval.
    Derived from:  Agent_Skill_Group_Half_Hour.AbandonHoldCallsToHalf
    many thks
