ICM7 Install - RouterA process on RoggerB

I'm having an issue for an ICM upgrade from 6 through 7.0c SR4 to 7.5.x. As part of the upgrade process a RoggerA and RoggerB are built based on ICM7.0c using an EDMT import of the 6.0 database and a copyof the ICM registry key tree from each respective source Rogger i.e. apply RoggerA 6.0 registry tree to new tech refresh RoggerA 7.0 and apply RoggerB 6.0 registry tree to RoggerB 7.0. This is the process described in the upgrade guide.
However, when RoggerB is installed and rebooted after the ICM7.0c install, it attempts to run both RouterB AND RouterA on the same server. It suddenly seems to think it is now RouterA as well as RouterB. The registry now shows a new tree for RouterA, icmsetup shows RouterA and the process attempt to run RouterA. The real RouterA has already been installed, is running and is connected via bopth public and private network.
I've trawled the release notes for ICM 7.0c through to SR4 but can't see a mention of this issue which would be a pretty major problem.
We have fixed the issue by deleting the RouterA registry tree before rebooting the server and also deleting the entry via icmsetup, which should mean we can then move on to upgrade to ICM7.5. However, I'm concerned that this isn't a good starting point for a new 7.5 build so would like to understand why this issue is occuring.
Is there a patch that I am missing here?
Jed

Thought it worth a follow up on this.
The custonmer has been running fine with the fix process they went through, however I still wanted to understand why this happened. After some TAC assistance they pointed me at the following bug which is exactly this issue ... dman annoying that I couldn't find this bug with standard search terms.
http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCsh70013
At least the problem is understood and I know the ICM build is fine to work from,

  • Issues installing albpm process engine to websphere

    Hi,
I'm trying to install albpm enterprise server 5.7 on websphere 6.1. Did the database directory creation, websphere profile creation, oracle schemas for albpm and albpm engine, configure datasources and jms in websphere, installed the fuego websphere deployer.
Now while installing the process engine ear file from albpm process administrator, getting errors installing the ear file. Initially, the errors said the credentials were null, which went away when I put the user/password for my webpshere console in the soap.client.properties file. now the error I get is as below.
Could you take a look and advice.

  • The IP Routing Process for VLAN's?

I have the CCNA Study Guide third edition. Chapter five, page 254 has a description of the ip routing process.  It descripes the ip routing process using two nodes on different subnets and a router.
We've recently deployed VLAN's, so I'm asking if I replace the router with a switch in the description, if the principles would still apply?  I'm also asking if someone knows of a link that describes the ip routing process when using a VLAN?  I'm looking for documentation that's similar to what's in the book, but modernized.
    tia

I do not have the book but i will try to help:
Switches dont do inter-vlan routing (Unless you are using a layer 3 switch) so if you are have different Vlans configured on your switch and want them to comunicate each other without a router you cant.
If you have a router the same principles apply to normal routing, remember that VLANS are just a way of dividing your clients, so your VLANS configured on your subinterfaces will appear directly connected on your ip route table. For example:
    VLAN 10: 192.168.10.0
    VLAN 20: 192.168.20.0
    VLAN 30: 192.168.30.0
You have vlan 10 and 20 locally on a lan interface (They will be directly connected on your ip route) but vlan 30 is reachable thru a serial interface (ppp or frame relay) you would use:
    ip route 192.168.30.0 255.255.255.0 serialx/x

  • How to install Route 66 navigation software on N95...

I am trying to install Route 66 Mobile 7 Benelux navigation software on my N95. The software manufacturer has given me the instructions below, but this still has not worked. I cannot see the Rooute 66 Icon in the phone. Can someone help? Thanks
The installation of the ROUTE 66 Mobile 7 software on Nokia N95 should be done manually as follows:
    1) Connect the Nokia N95to your PC via connection cable.
    2) On the screen of the phone the following choices will display:
    - Media player
    - PC suite
    - Mass Storage
    3) Choose " Mass Storage"
    4) The phone will appear as an "external HDD" on your computer.
    5) Run ROUTE 66 Mobile 7.
6 Select the "Browse content" option and then select and open "MultiMediaCardImage” folder.
    7) Copy the content of the folder from the Mobile 7 CD/DVD to the N95 HDD.
    8) When copying is finished, you will find the R66 Mobile 7 icon in on the Nokia N95.
In order to work with the internal GPS, follow the instructions bellow:
Please check the version of ROUTE 66 Mobile 7 that you currently have. Launch Mobile 7 and select Options->View->About Mobile. The version information is displayed in the header and in the About text.

    Hello khanw
No this is not working for me. But it seems like your MultiMediaCardImage” has many more folders and files that what I have. As I look on the installation disc, I only see System. I thought that maybe it was because the others were hidden files & folders, but I've checked and my folder settings are supposed to show these hidden files. So I have the feeling that I'm stuck. I sent a follow up e-mail to Route 66, and the only thing that they could do is repeat the original instructions. I wonder why your CD has many more files on it than mine does????
Maybe there is someone else in the forum that can help??

  • How to install Oracle Process Automation  for Mobile

    Hi
I want to install Oracle Process Automation components for Mobile.
I have downloaded the V20466-01.Zip file from Oracle Website, i dont find any setup file to intall OPA.
Please let me know how to install OPA( i already installed Oracle Process Modeling).
    Thanks.

There's no installation for OPA runtime components. For the OPA 10.1 .NET package (V20466-01) you need to decide which components you wish to deploy and then follow the corresponding section in the installation guide.
As we don't provide any Windows Mobile applications, the process would be to develop your own .NET Compact Framework application, referencing the mobile determinations engine and it's dependancies, and then deploy that application as you would normally deploy a Windows Mobile application.

  • Does any one installed BPEL Process Manager 10.1.2.0.2  on Websphere 6?

Thank you for reading my post
Is it possible to install BPEL Process Manager 10.1.2.0.2 to websphere 6.1?
Is there some documentation for it to use in order to make installation happen?
    Thanks

    Thank you for your reply.
We have developed a system based on 10.1.2.0.2 and now we want to push it to production deployment in an small factory as a pilot test.
We tried to deploy the system on 10.1.3.3 and it failed.
We extensively used internal APIs to control a task or a process life cycle. which looks to be incompatible with 10.1.3.3
    Thanks

  • Install two Process Server on one machine

    Hi everyone,
I would like to install two Process Server on only one server (machine). This machine will be use for two different environnements?
Do you think it's possible? and what would be the impact about this kind of installation?
If it's possible, the port used by the two Process Server will not be in conflict?
    Thanks,
    Regards,
    Jean-Christophe

    Hi,
With software trees I meant software installation directory trees, so say:
    - /opt/redwood/dev for your development process server and
    - /opt/redwood/test for your test process server
If you install in two different directories like above, because you want to be able to do independent upgrades, then it is recommended to have two network agents too on different ports, so these can be independently upgraded too. For future reference it then helps to name the services rwna_dev and rwna_test respectively in the above directory example.
If you need to run two process servers on the same box but connecting to the same repository, then you can use one software installation (f.i. /opt/redwood/server) and you need only one network agent.
    Regards,
    Anton.

  • 2 - way routing process in an ESB

    Hi !
I want a 2-way routing process in an ESB .
My requirement is there is two table say Emp and Company .
I will select some data from Emp and after some transformation I will insert those to data into Company table .
When I am using poll then it is working fine but when I am trying to use select and insert query then router only accept select wsdl not the insert wsdl .
    Help me regarding this

    Hi,
I am afraid that there is no way to have two routing nodes in one flow. But you can use service call to get same job done.

    Hi all,

  • 6513 ACL List ION Routing Process

Hello everyone I have a question about ION Routing Process that seems to show up on the 6513 cisco switch.
    Ok question, when I do a show access-list Test-ACL
It will show me Test-ACL list then right after that with ION Routing Process the next line starts with all of the ACL lists that are on the device.
We have two 6513 and they both do this but when i check out two 6509 they dont do this.
Also check on 3750e too dont do this
Can anyone explain this to me ?

    Craig
What you are asking for can be done but it will be a bit tedious. You describe having 20 entries in the topology table and you want to control which one gets placed into the routing table. To do that you can either make the composite metric of the one entry more attractive or you can make the composite metric of the other 19 less attractive.
When you use an offset list you add to the metric of an entry. It will not make any entry be more attractive but it can make other entries less attractive. So you could configure an offset list identifying the route in question and apply some offset (100 should work for example). Then you would need to apply this offset to the 19 neighbors who are advertising the route.

  • Routing process

    Hi,
While I am debuging ICMP traffic originated from a router ( Debug ip packet details) it is showing packets routed via FIB and reply is showing as routed via RIB .is it means ICMP packet originating from the router is CEF switched ? if it does then whether the CEF switched packet will show in the debug  output ?.Documents showing that only process switched packet can be debugged .
one more doubt regarding the routing process
documents stating that the routing process is actually consist of three processes 1.routing 2.switching 3.encapsulation
so regardless of every switching methods (Process ,Fast or CEF ) router is doing routing table lookup in the first process (Routing)
    thanks

  • Two route-processes for same vrf on a PE

    Hi
Is it possible to have two route processes, for example eigrp and ospf, for the same vrf on a PE router.
The situation would be, two customer sites on one PE, one site is running EIGRP and the other one OSPF
    Thanks for your replies
    michael

You should be able to use any combination of supported IGP (ospf, eigrp, rip, static) or BGP between the different the PE and the different CEs belonging to the same VRF.
    Hope this helps,

  • I am having major problems installing Mountain Lion.  After downloading successfully and attempting to install the process froze after restarting - ended up hanging on the OSX Recovery screen. Wouldn't restart properly without me selecting a startup disc.

Three times I went through this same process for the same outcome. I have redownloaded Mountian Lion three times. I removed the Lion install package from the Applications folder in case this was causing a problem. Deleted and remounted the Mountain Lion package each time. Finally got the package to run through the install, restart and begin the file install - at the end it failed and I was left with a blank startup disc and no data. I have backed up. Through the OSX Recovery screen I selected a Lion reinstall - checked my credential against the app store -fine. But then failed on the reinstall.  Now doing a recovery from current backup but wondering the **** is going on. Wasted over 24 hours of processor time.

while doing the Oracle Universal Installer I selected
"BPEL Process Manager for OracleAS Middle Tier" You would select the above installation option only if you already have an OracleAS Middle Tier - and it would then install BPEL PM into the same ORACLE_HOME.
The below error message is telling you the same. You have one of two options:
    1. install Oracle AS midtier first and then redo the above install of the BPEL PM
    2. select the standalone option (not the midtier option)
