ICON in the detail line of a Infoblock (Factsheet) in CRM

Hi folks
Has anyone out there tried to display an ICON in a factsheet in the Bussines Partner Cockpit
In the class where I create a Infoblock for the Factsheet, I want to display
the ICON_MESSAGE_WARNING_SMALL (@8R@) in front of the name of a Contact person.
Any good ideas??

Thanks a lot for Your answer. But the problem, as I see, is that this is not a report with write statements!
I have made a lot of reports with ICONs - no problem.
But a Infoblock, which is a part of a Factsheet in CRM is a HTML skeleton which is displayed via an integrated browser!

Target Documents G/L Account on the Details Line is not Updated

Hello,
I am trying to promote a Sales Order into a Delivery Note. The Sales Order lines are created using a particular warehouse. The customer may pick up the items from a different location, so we would promote the Sales Order and modify the warehouse code.
Using the SAP B1 interface, the G/L Account Code is refreshed based on the G/L determination of the new warehouse.
The problem is with the DI API. If we use the DI in promoting the Sales Order Lines and change the warehouse code, the G/L account it uses is the same as the Sales Order line that it is based on. Does anyone know of a work around?

How to keep the Result Line only and delete the details

I am having a Bex issue, i have the details lines and the Result Line, i would like when i run my report, i keep only the Result Line and hide all the details
can any one help?

go to Properties of Keyfigure and set 'Calculate <u>Single</u> Values as....' to 'Suppress Result'..

Field values in detail line being cutoff

I am using Crystal Reports 2011.
I have a report created in Crystal Reports and is being populated by a Dataset.
The report is displayed in a CrystalReportViewer in an ASP.Net page.
I am finding that sometimes the string data in fields in the detail line are being cutoff.
For example:
There is a column in the report called Status.
The table field has a value of Started1234567.
When the report is displayed in CrystalReportViewer, the Status column only shows Started12 in the detail line.
Even when the report is exported to a MS Excel .xls file and you click on the cell with that value, it still only has a value of Started12 instead of Started1234567.
I am not concerned that the value is cutoff in CrystalReportViewer.
But it would be better to be able to see the whole value when the report is exported to a file, especially to a MS Excel .xls file. Is there a way to keep the value from being cutoff when being exported?

Hi,
Setup the font size is smaller i.e based on your requirement..
Format the field and on the paragraph tab put a small value in the Indentations Left box. I use 0.1 cm, but it depends on your settings in Page Setup..
As of now these are the possible ways....

Print Detail Lines on One Page?

Hi Friends
I am creating xml template for Printed Purchase Order Report in Potrait Style.
If the Detail Lines are more than 2, the third one is going to next page.
I want all the Information Including Header and Detail LInes to be printed in one Page( as the Ever Green Output )?
Any help on this.. where to set the Table or row Properties or any code to be added?

Detail line separator

When "Grouping" is used in a report, every records making up
the "detail line" section becomes separated by a grey line going
across the report. This line is only visible on the output (PDF in
this particular instance) therefore cannot be "Selected" and
deleted in "Design Mode".
I looked at the different options available on the righ-hand
side of the Report Builder's interface but could not see nor find
the one that would get rid of it.
Does anyone know how to remove this line?
I am using CFReportBuilder on CFMX7 and Dreamweaver 8.

Got it! By Zooming In I was finally able to see, select and
delete the line that was up & VERY close to the TOP of the
Detail section.

Column headings line up, but detail lines dont.

We've got a script to get a payments listing out of a table, the spool file is created and looks fine. However it fires up adobe acrobat and the report looks really bad.
The column headings line up, but the detail under them does not, it appears to almost left justify everything.
If a field is blank, instead of leaving a space for the field size, it brings in the next field adjacent to it. So none of the detail lines line up vertically, its all over the shop. I realise this maybe something to do with the way adobe works (v4). The other reports within the system, which use the same method work ok.
But does the script look ok? Like I said, the spool file appears to look ok.

Changing the starting line when printing on new page.

I am using Reports 6i. I have a report with a master/detail ralationship. The columns from the master query prints once only at the beginning of the report followed by numerous detail lines. However, should the detail lines continue printing onto a new page .... I would like to specify a particular position to start the print.eg 5 or perhaps 7 line from the top. Can this be done in reports 6i. Thanx in advance!

Reports allows you to position the objects anywhere you want on the page. The only reason that objects move up the page is because they are anchored to objects above them. When those objects don't print, the objects that come after move up.
You can create an object that prints on all pages but has no line and no fill color. This can then be used to reduce the amount the master frame can shrink by. (Make sure it prints on all pages. You might need to create seperate frames to surround the fields you want to see and the transparent field - then another to surround them both).
If you know the position that you want the details to print then you can position the detail objects in the appropriate location and change the properties against the frame that surrounds he detail section as follows:
"Base Printing On" to "Enclosing Object"
"Print Object On" to "All Pages"
Alternatively, create an explicit anchor between the frame and the top of the report.
Finally, if you want to parameterise the position of the detail records, you need to create field that dynamically re-sizes to push everything below it down by the required amount.
- create a field object that is at the same level as the master objects
- set the "print object on" propert to "All but First Page"
- set the source of the field to something like "desformat".
- then use the srw.set_field_char(0, "<some text with a number of returns>"); in the format trigger
This allows you to push everything below the field down by any desired amount.

How to see the details of archived vendor account?

User want to see the detail line items of a vendor account for year 2002. As it has been archived, we are able to see the balances only but not the details. Can anyone please let me know, how to see the details for an archived data.

Using enhancments MM06E005 TO modify detail line ME21N

user request is to have a part number COO which when enter will look at the propertys of the
detail line above it and populate plant and qty fields in addition we don't want to have invoice receipt
and product is to be priced as free or no additional cost.

Detail lines are too far apart

I have an Oracle Report where the detail lines are too far apart. There is way too much white space between the lines. How do I decrease the line height? The detail line is very complex, with fields which are shown/not shown at different times.

try to set the vertically property of the appropriate frame to variable (so that the frame can shrink) and have a look at the first item inside the repeating frame. The difference between this item and the repeating frame is used for every line.

Display the horizontal lines whether or not a section is empty.

I am using CR with vb.net 2010 and latest version of CR for net 2010. I want to print a report like a grid which means horizontal and vertical lines appearing whether or not there is text in a section.
I have a box surrounding the report and vertical lines extending down the report. There are two group headers and a details section.    The horizontal lines only appear when there are values in the group or details sections. Thus, once the detail lines end (and therefore there are no more groups either) on a page, the horizontal lines stop though the vertical ones continue. I want the horizontal lines in the sections to continue as well -- just like in Excel.
There is a page break for the top group so there are lots of pages that have detail lines empty. How do I print horizontal lines in those sections as well when there are no values.

there are several different ways of doing this.
1) the easiest way of doing this is to create a new Page Header that contains all of the lines. this works if you've got a report that is static in way that each page is laid out. make the new page header the size of a page in length, move it up so that it is Page Header A, and go to the section expert and set it to Underlay Following Sections. now add the grid lines to this new page header A.
2) another way of doing this is to create a whole bunch of Details sections....e.g B to Z. put lines in these sections. write a conditional suppression formula for each one based on how many records there are in a group. this is way more work.
3) another fairly easy way is to create a formula that outputs the horizontal lines...i.e.
     numbervar N:= 10;
     // you'd need to figure out what N is based on the number of existing records and the number of lines you want
     replicatestring(replicatestring("_",300) + chr(10), N)
make sure that you right click on the formula and go to Format Field > Common tab, and set it to Can Grow.

How do I display customized icons next to menu bar instead of on the same line as the URL?

Thought I already submitted this. If this is a duplicate set of details, apologies. If previous answer posted, there was no message to that effect.
In Windows 7, icons for most add-ons and for icons you can add with customization appears to the right of the menu bar. Now, in Windows 8, they are appearing to the right of the URL line.
There isn't enough room on the URL line, so I would prefer they show on the menu bar line. If this isn't possible in Windows 8, count this question as a complaint about the change. If it is possible, I couldn't findl the solution in your help or forum.

NO! In Windows 7, the command icons show to the right of the line with the '''FILE''', etc. drop-down menus, the line BELOW the top line which contains the Firefox icon (see the image).
In windows 8, they show to the right of the line in which you enter a URL or a search string. There is not much vacant room on that line, so you can only fit a couple of icons.
I don't know how to say it any more clearly than this.
I want to know if it is possible to move the command icons in Windows 8 so they are in the same location as in Windows 7. If not, I'd like to know why the decision was made to do this, if deliberate, or if it was an oversight that will be fixed.

Also experiencing some funky issues with my wireless keyboard. With new batteries, it will just stop functioning. Certain keys intermittently won't work. Also the fans go on as soon as I turn the computer on - some times they stay on and sometimes they don't. Ever since upgrading the operating system - I've been having many issues with this iMac. Not happy. Any answers out there?

Thanks for your reply LexSchellings, There is no disc in the drive and I went through the suggestions you put forward on the phone with Apple support without any luck. I can put a disc in but it pops straight back out again without registering on finder.
The idea of using an external drive was to enable me to avoid the cost and loss of productivity whilst machine in repair... if I have to take it in to get the old drive removed than I might as well have a new internal drive put in, although I do worry about the reliability of these apple drives given my experience with this one coupled with my limited online research ... on line forums seem to be full of people with the same problem (although perhaps searching such forums is bound to make it seem a common problem as users with perfectly working machines are less likely to post (?)) Your reply suggests that no external drive will work whilst the existing drive is in place.
As a postscript: I do realise that this is a user forum ...my secondary question was asking if anyone knows how to put forward a case/complaint to Apple... I can't find a link on the support page that would enable me to do so and I was wondering if anyone on this user forum had any ideas/experience..
