Hi all,
How to have small Icon before the Title attribute of af:documnet tag.such that it dispalys in the Tab in the broswer window
I am using Jdev 11.1.1.5

Why is the tab name showing the old file type when I try to download a pdf from our wordpress sites?

We have two wordpress sites. On each site we have uploaded some pdf files that viewers can download. I noticed that when you try to download a pdf file the tab name that appears when you click "Download" is not the same as the filename. For instance: when I try to download a pdf file titled "Weekly Retail Skeptic". In firefox - the tab name will say "Microsoft Word - Note_2013_0523_Skeptic - Note_0523_Skeptic.pdf". It seems like the browser is reading what the file was before it was converted to a pdf.
I have tried both "print to pdf" in word as well as converting the word document to a pdf document using Acrobat.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

How do I get a Vista 64 bit XP machine to show a "+" icon on the tab bar to "Open a new tab" and the "Open a new tab" icon on the far right of the Bookmarks tool bar?

I have Firefox 4.0.1 installed on two laptops, one with Windows Vista, 64 bit and the other with Windows XP. Both machines have the "Open a new tab" icon on the far right of the Bookmarks tool bar. The XP machine also has a + icon on the tab bar to "Open a new tab" while the Vista machine does not have that + icon. I like using that; is there any way to get it on the Vista machine?

After weeks of trying, I stumbled on the solution:
# Right-click on an empty section of the Tab Strip, select Customize... and the Customize Toolbar window will open.
# At the bottom of the Customize Toolbar window, there are additional options for changing the appearance of the icons in your toolbars. From the Show drop-down menu, you can choose what to display in the toolbars — Icons, Text, or Icons and Text together. By default, Firefox just shows Icons.
# Select Icons and Text
# When you are finished making changes, click Done to close the Customize Toolbar window.

How do I stop Launchpad renaming my App Icons with the wrong name (E.G. Evernote is now called Google Chrome). Also, how do I change the name back to what it is supposed to be.

Getting the tab name

Hey,
I need to capture the tab name when it is clicked. Is there any way to do this??
I created dynamic breadcrumbs and when the user clicks the tab to enter a page the application items used to contain the values for the breadcrumb path are not being cleared. So when the user clicks a tab to go into the page directly the breadcrumb path is the last entry created in the trail, but it should be the only entry in the breadcrumb path.
eg: User is on Page 1 and clicks a button bringing them to page 2 and the breadcrumb will be Page 1>Page 2.
However, if the user clicks a tab to go directly into page 2, the breadcrumb should just be Page 2 and it's showing Page 1 > Page 2 and this is because the application items holding the values are not being cleared.
Does someone have a solution to this?

If it's a standard tab then the value of the built-in substitution string REQUEST is set to the tab name when it is clicked.

My requirement is to wrap the tab name
I got a good suggestion from Evgeniy that the tab class has to found and white-space property of that class has to be changed in portalcontent.css.
Im very much poor in editing the CSS files.I started playing around and ended with failure.My dashboard pages turned full grey color.
Then with the help of Saichand I replaced the original portalcontent.css and got back the original dashboard back.
Can anyone please help me by giving the actual tab class name to be added in portalcontent.css file.

Active Tab has floating chinese characters as well as the tab name how do I get rid of this?

Previously this seemed to driven by an addin which I removed. Now each time Firefox updates itself every 1-2 days this problem reappears without the original addin. Because the chinese characters float over the top of the tab name it makes it difficult to read the tab name is is plain irritating.

I believe the Tab is just named according to the name of the folder you are in. I don't think there's any way to change that.

I use the tab navigation, it's OK with text but i can display a icon. I upload the icon in APEX (Shared Components) and i populate the image section of the my std tab.
But nothing, only the text appear.

What does the icon beside the project name indicate

There is an icon beside the project beside some of the project names. No amount of hovering over it, seems to reveal any kind of tooltip or explanation as to what it indicates. Any ideas?

Additionally, related to that, if you highlight that Project, go to the Inspector, and look in the Shared section, it'll show you a list of all the Exported (Shared) files you've made from that project. The same icon there indicates that exported file has been moved or deleted. You can click on the magnifying glass icon to open a Finder window showing the location of that export (only if it's still in tact).
