Icon not active in Y report

Dear All
I have currently developed a Y report on store consumption. In the report Total and sub total option is in deactivated mode. How to make it activate mode.

If you have used ALV grid for displaying the customized report then ensure specific field of total and subtotal have the following code.

Hi,
The object F_IT_ALV has a field, the activity ACTVT, which can
contain four permitted values: 01, 02, 03 and 70.
Activity 03 corresponds to the minimum authorization, which is the
most restricted one: You can only select layouts which have
been configured already. In particular, all of the other functions
named above are inactive with activity 03.
I guess that your user-id have set activity 03 for this object.
The SAP notes 374656 and 409190 are recommended.
So, if the values 01 and 02 are not included, then
the user can't change and save layouts.
For the line item display in FI the authorization
object FI_IT_ALV has been created as an extra security check in addi-
tion to the ALV authorization object S_ALV_LAYO.
Please check note 374656 where you should be able to find
relevant info about this. Also note 637554 should be helpful.

You are missing an authorization object in your user profile. Run FBL3N and then run SU53 to see which auth obj is missing. Then send those details to your Security.

Tool/Menu bar icons not active - Acrobat in BROWSER

I have installed the SP1 update of windows 7. I have the latest version of Acrobat 10. I also have the latest version EXPLORER (9) & FIRE FOX (4). The PDF file comes into the BROWSER & the Acrobat icons (print, save) show up on the tool/menu bar but are not active. The commands are active with the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON.
Also, links to other web sites (URL's) within the PDF document are not active. ie. Does not LINK.
If I force ACROBAT to open as an independent program everything works OK.

Have you solved this yet? Perhaps trashing the preference file for the menubar would solve this? Go to the preferences folder-- /Library/Preferences --and trash this file:
com.apple.systemuiserver.plist

The expenditure organization is not active for Expense Report

Greetings to all,
We ran into a problem, where a person submitted an expense report with project related information. The exp report gets an error in the workflow. When we look at the workflow error message is: This expense report failed payables validation.
When we look at the notification for error message, shows the expense report and for the line that has a problem, gives the following error message:
"The expenditure organization is not active."
We check the org in HRMS, we look up the org and has the following setups:
HRMS-->work structures--> organization (query the cost center)
then when looking at the cost center has the following:
under organization classifications:
Project Expenditure/Event Organization
Project Task Owning Organization
HR Organization
Then looking at hrms-->organization--->hierarchy
query for hierarchy-->we get our hierarchy,
then under organization-->query again for our main org, we see then the subordinates which we see the cost center again.
Everything looks good our point of view.
If have researched this issue on ML and have read the following notes: 423267.1, but this does not resolve our issue.
If someone has encountered this problem, can you share the additional steps to troubleshoot this issue.

It turns out that the employees were on LOA on the dates that they were charging time. So the message didn't really describe what the actual problem was. What happened is that the employees had gone on LOA and then returned to work, but HR had not yet returned them to active assignment. They entered their timecards as they normally had, but they did not pass validation because they weren't active on the dates they were trying to charge.
I would have looked at the assignment earlier in the process if the error message had been employee-oriented instead of referring to the org, but at least the problem is solved. Thanks for everybody's input!

OpenPS4.0 - Upload icon not active

Hi Gurus
I am using openPS4.0 Version 2.02 to integrate SAP R/3 with MS project. I am able to download projects from SAP R/3 to MS projects as download icon is active. However I am unable to upload projects from MSP as the upload icon is grayed out in MSP.
I have created and assigned the SAP_PS_EPS role to my user ID as proposed by SAP Note 534045, but still the upload icon is grayed out.
Kindly guide me in resolving the issue

Ken,
I can confirm that Google Chrome is now allowing multiple uploads for both the normal upload and the drag and drop on my end. It was not this morning so this may be an intermittent problem that we may want to start cataloging and see if we can back track the issue. Right now it's a one time occurrance we'll have to track this over the next few days to see what happens.
Good info to know about IE 8/9. I recommend sticking this Gem of Knowledge in a FAQ so others will know this is a browser issue and NOT a cloud issue.
The speed of upload has improved from this morning but I do not have hard numbers to post just a general observation at this time. Let's face it upload is never going to be particularly "snappy" at DSL speeds but there may be a port 80 bottleneck we are running into during peak times at the data center. It is something to think about and keep track of at least. Would be interesting to see the load chart by the hour but that is something for the server farm gurus to undertake.

Drill though not active in EVDRE report

Hi,
I have created DB drill through and it works fine in an any by any report but the drill through icon is disable when i try to drill through an EVDRE report.
sometimes the drill through button is enabled but i am getting connection error "Connection failure or open result set failed"
please give your suggestion.

A few clarification questions are needed:
What version are you working on?
Is the ANY by ANY and EVDRE report? or is it an old style report?
How many keys are you using? Is this only drillable on Account, or entity, more?
If you have a simple drill thru on Account, does it work consistently?
That is how I would approach this as a test...

MSS Reports Local File (export to) icon not available for some reports

When we run MSS reports some of the generated reports give us the option to export the file as a local object while with other reports the icon is missing. What is the reason for this? Please let me know know. Thank you!

Check out this link. This might help. The value set in ~WEBGUI_SIMPLE_TOOLBAR determines the button displayed on portal. Check the authorization provided to end user . The visibility of buttons depend upon authorizations as well.

Idvd 'burn' icon not active - help!

I have created my first idvd project and finished it. I used photo's from iphoto and audio from itunes. I want to burn to dvd but the 'burn dvd' icon is dormant. I tried to insert a dvd-r to the disc drive but it just spits it out. My iMac has the idvd 3..... I would really appreciate any help/advice!!! please.

ABUMN icons not active

The icons in tcode ABUMN (multiple assets) at the bottom of the screen are mostly grayed out. Does anybody know if these can be activated? If so, is there a specific security authorization, etc that does this?

You do not need a report to do this. The instance parameter
login/password_max_idle_productive
will do this for you.

HI ,i had my report server on SQL SERVER 2005,and for
reporting service i am using the sql server reporting services 2008R2,i created a report which i am supposed to display in Website ,i
created the rdl using the BIDS 2008 and , its throwing me an error because my report server is in 2005 and my rdl is in 2008 and i was using it in VS2008 Report viewer control,i was told that i am supposed to create rdl in 05 in order to get
it run ,but i dont want to create another one since it was pretty big and took lot of time to design it
Is there any way i can use the same rdl with that report server ,one of my collegue told that i can do in one way (using catalog of SQL server 2008 Reporting in sql server 2005 report server database i did'nt get that much as iam not aware of that
catalog stuff .and i tried to configure the report server once again and i am getting this new error

in ssrs 2005 there initialize but in ssrs2008 r2 i couldnt found that option so can any one please help me out with this .

GO TO report server configuration and go to Encryption keys and delete encryption keys and try to run the URL again, it works.
I had SSRS2008 two installations, the second one gave this problem, this solution helped resolve it. Thank you.

ESS Time Statement Report not Active?

I am running ERP2004 ESS with IDES. I think were on SP9. I have adobe document services installed and its working ok with other reports, however when I try to run the Time Statement report I get an error "Print program not activated for form SAP_TIM_99_0001".
I tried going into transaction HRFORMS to active it, but it says there is an error in the code, some variable is not declared. The code is out of the box and can't be changed so I'm thinking these could be the possible problems:
     1. The SAP_TIM_99_0001 form delivered in the SP has errors and I need to apply a new SP level.
     2. I am not trying to active the program right. (Currently I am going into HRFORMS, selecting the report, then activating it)
     3. There needs to be some configue done that will help this compile right.
Please let me know if you have any insight to this problem and if you have it working yourself.

I'm working with ERP2005 ECC 6.0 Portal: 2004s SP7
When I try to open the Time Statement in the workset Working Time I receive the same error message, but in this case, say that the Form SAP_TimeSlip is missing.
I went to that transaction you mencioned and the Form is already Activated.
Can you help me with this issue?
