[Icons] Get inactive version

Hi all,
We can see the whole set of icons available in SAP through SHOWICON or RSTXICON programs, or even through SE16 on ICON table.
But what about inactive icons? The ones we can see when the function is not available to us in the SAP Gui...
Is there a trick to get them - programatically - since I would like to have them for my BSP applications.

That was what I was afraid of...
I was kind of hoping there was a trick where the icon was somehow modified "on-the-fly" as it seems to be done with ABAP Look & Feel Service.

When BB in connected via USB, at the BB Desktop Software, right upper corner appears " CONNECTED", at the bottom does not appear the BB PIN. I have version 5.0.1.
All the Icons are inactive so it is impossible to sync.
The BB Device manager recognize correctly the BB PIN.
I´ve already made a clean unistall and a new installation of the BB Desktop Software.
This happens with all BBs of my office in this PC, and my BB I can sync it correctly in others PC
What can I do??

Also, check that you are using only root USB ports...no hubs (sometimes the front-side ports are hubs...use a rear USB port). And make sure to try disabling USB power management in your system configuration (Device Manager).
Apologies in advance if this is redundant -- there's no way to be sure if you've already seen and tried these.

Copy Inactive Version to Active Version in MC78

Hi PP Gurus,
I am not able to copy the inactive version (019) to Active Version (A00) in TCode MC78, it gives the message A00 already exists.
But when i want to transport the values to Demand Mangement (thru TCode MC75) it will ask for Active Version.
Please suggest where am i doing wrong?

Hello Rehman,
The message what you are getting is standard and warning message. It is not the error message.
While copying from inactive version to avtive version (A00), this will populate, you just have to enter omce again, then you will get one more pop-up saying "A00 will be reset", agaian you have to accept the message.
Now you check your version will be copied from MC88 transcation by clicking on active version.
If problem solves rewards your points.

    Mostly you can do planning with different version numbers in planned independent requirent.Unless and until you active the version, it will not transfer the independent reqmt to stock requirement list.
     To active any version number, go to change mode (T.C MD62) and give the material number, plant and version number which you want to activate and press enter, it will go to next screen.There besides material name field there is check box for version.Just tick that.Now if you see in stock reqmt list (T.C MD04) you will see the indep reqmt got transfered.
      Hope this way you will resolve your problem.

'There is an inactive version of object nnnnnnnnn'

I have been tasked with rectifying a transport that someone has foolishly created and contains 40+ OSS notes. I don't know the history of what's happened to this transport, other than it will not release due to inactive versions of objects. I have gone through all 600 objects and activated them were applicable. However, there are a few which say 'There is an inactive version of object nnnnnnnn' when I attempt to activate them. How can get them activated?.

Many thanks, I did not have an issue identify the inactive objects, the transport release process did that,. The problem that I had was in actually activation them. If I clicked on the object and was taken into SE80 I then displayed the inactive objects and then activated them, but the same message was shown saying that there was an inactive version of the object.
My colleague has this morning managed to activate them, so I assume that this problem may have been caused by the fact that service patches were being applied at the time so maybe some locking was going on.
Anyway, thanks to alll, and that particular problem was overcome, but we now have another problem to deal with in the same transport as someone has applied notes via snotes without completing all the pre-implementation and post implementation instructions, and this is for a number of notes. Doh, why is my life always made harder by other people.

My doubt is if you look in to transaction MC94 , we have two tabs one u201CActive versionu201D and other u201CInactive versionu201D.
When I maintained product allocation in Active version u201CA00u201D and executed the sales order product allocation is not happening. And then I tried to maintain the allocation under Inactive Version u201C000u201D then executed the sales order. Now the product allocation is happening and even the structure is getting updated after saving the sales order. So I need to under stand under which version we need to maintain the allocation so that allocation functionality will work during sales order creation.

Do I not get full versions of the CC software when I buy a CC membership?

So I bought my CC membership back in January I think. And the first thing I did was install Premiere Pro CC. I needed it. Now about a month later, I need it again, and it says that I'm on a trial version. I signed into my CC, and tried again, but it still tells me I'm on a trial. The same thing happens with Speedgrade. Apparently after paying for 2 months of subcription, I can only use a 30 day trial version of the software I need. Is this a normal thing? Or should I call adobe, and get this fixed? I'd really really like to have working software on my computer, and I'm spending the money to have it. I'm in college, and on a pretty tight budget, so if I don't get actual versions of the software, I'm going to cancel my subscription. Nowhere on the literature on the CC does it say that you only get access to 30 day trials of most of the software. Please give me a hand here. I need to know if I should end my subscription or not.

Using patch plans for 12.1.0.2 target oracle home fails with 'PREREQ_MESG: Unable to get the version of OPatch'

We are attempting to use patch plan to apply PSU and one-offs to a new 12.1.0.2 database oracle home. Our EM version is 12.1.0.4.
We are experiencing the same issue described in ''Bug 20271609 : Unable to get the version of OPatch". This bug is closed as 'duplicate bug to filer' but we do not appear to have visibility into what patch/bug fixes the issue.
Description from the above mentioned bug is our same issue. We do not have this issue when we use patch plans against an 11.2.x oracle_home target. It is unique to 12.1.0.2 oracle_home target.
Description from the bug:
The Plan failed in step "Run Prerequisite Checks" with the following errors:
PREREQ_NAME: Minimum Version of OPatch
PREREQ_DESC: Check if the required version of OPatch is present on the target
PREREQ_TYPE: PATCH_TOOL_CHECK
PREREQ_STATUS: FAILED
PREREQ_MESG: Unable to get the version of OPatch at
/u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/dbhome_2/Opatch
We have opened an SR to see if we can get more info on what was already identified as a bug. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, can you share any patches or workarounds (other than manually applying patches) that you found useful?

You'll probably get the same info from Support, but the workaround is to use the Patch Database (however that doesn't work if there's no DB target associated to that home). If you were trying to do patchign out of place (clone home, patch, then move db's), EM can do this for you. If you're just installing a new DB Home and trying to patch, then i don' think there's another workaround. The base bug is marked fixed though, so a backport for the 12.1.0.6 plugin should be available very soon. I would ask the support analyst to request the backport for your plugin/patch level...

How to get the Version History of a stored document?

I am trying to store and retrieve the content using Content Services features of ADEP 10.0.
I am able to store and retrieve content where as I am not able to get the version of the document. I am trying to store same or different document, but I donot get the version history or version label. Please guide me how I can get the version of a stored document.
Also, please advise me if there are simple alternative to do the same in ADEP10.

I can't get new version of itunes to install on Windows 7 64 bit computer. Receive message that reads insufficient privileges to access c:\program files\ipod\bin. Tried to follow some suggestions found here but nothing is working. Any new suggestions?

For such situation, I'd suggest the following:
1. Remove current installed office with the fix-it tool in
KB2739501, and follow the "Remove Office manually" section to make sure there are no remaining files
2. Either download a trial version of Office 2013 from
http://office.microsoft.com/, or from
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/jj937170
3. Reboot your computer in clean boot mode, and run setup again
