Icons keep duplicating on app screen
Please help!
Every so often I find that apps keep duplicating on my apps screen. Although it is not causing any problems with the device, it is frustrating to find that I have 5 navigation icons, 3 maps, 4 chrome etc etc
Does anyone else have this problem and is there a fix for it?

You are in safe mode,right?So the preset apps still appear duplicate?I have never seen something similar...I do not know what to say,if you say you have repaired with SUS,try again with PCC.The last step is to take the phone to a sony service.

You can only access the recent apps by double tapping the home button or by swiping up from the bottom of the screen if you enable multi-tasking gestures on your iPad. Go to Settings>General>Multitasking Gestures>On. If you enable that setting - you can also swipe across the screen to switch between running/open apps.

Exclamation Point & Duplicate App Icon - iTunes App Screen
I just did a sync of my iPhone 3G. In iTunes in the Apps screen on my PC some of the App icons have been duplicated and there is an exclamation point in front of them. So:
1) What does this mean?
2) How do I correct it with minimum muss & fuss?
**Please note: due to previous bad encounters with 0S4 I *will not* be installing it, so please don't suggest that. Furthermore, since iTunes 9.2 will not function properly without OS4, I am using iTunes 9.1.1. (See my previous post regarding issues with iTunes 9.2 & my 3G iPhone.)

~TT~Right clicking on the duplicate with the exclamation point brings up a pull down menu that says:
- Get Info
- Show in Windows Explorer
- Delete
Get info = The Application "name of application" could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" It then brings up the location if you continue on.
Meanwhile it now seems that MOST of the duplicate App icons have this duplicate with the !, while a couple just seem to be duplicates.
Again, I'm wondering as to the cause of this & how to correct it without having to do major stuff.

I can't see an app on my iphone, but when i search i get it. i've made room for the icon to show up on screen, but how do i actually get the icon to appear?
On your iPad, just go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, etc.>Add account>iCloud and put in the details of the account you set up. Shouldn't be a problem at all.

accidently deleted an app Store app. how can I get the icon back on my home screen? in the app store it comes up 'open' instead of install.
What happens if you tap on open?
Remember, if you ever want to find an app quickly, you can slide all the way to the left (iOS 6 and lower) or pull down (iOS 7 and later) to get to an app.
If you know for certain that you have deleated the app, please try restarting your phone. There are many ways to do this, but the safest way would be to hold down the power button and then slide to power down.
Once powered down, restart and try to find the icon on your screen. If you still can't find it, go into the App Store and then find the app you were trying to access. It should have an iCloud download symbol since you've purchased it before, rather than saying "install." -
Just updated to 7.1 and now open some apps and cannot see the entire screen because the iPad, time n battery icons are covering top of screen.
I tried what you said but it still didn't help.
It only affects some of my apps other apps are fine.
For some reason in some of my apps the iPad, time and battery icons get bigger on the top of my screen so I can't see the top of the app page which effects some of the games and applications.
Is there any way to turn these icons off on the top of the screen? -
When I touch my iPad screen to execute an app, then the screen goes dark then the app icon reappears. The app does not execute. Any thoughts?
Try a Reset...
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

Hi Paul, first you must check you multitaskbar from the phone. Press the Homebutton twice and you see a litte new bar. There you see all open apps. Hold your finger on one app until they shake and a red dot appear in the left corner of every app. Close all apps and restart your phone. If that won´t help make a reset from the iphone.
Press sleep/wake and home button for 10 sek at the same time until a white apple comes up.
If the issue still persist try to do a restore from your iphone

I'm using a 2014 Macbook Air. It's running Yosemite.

On my older Macbook at work, calendar stays full screen whether I exit the app or restart the computer (similar to Mail - which is staying in full screen on both computers).
Please help me adjust settings so I don't have to keep putting Calendar into full screen.

It fixed porblem (for the moment) by reinstalling PS6 and NOT installing the 13.03 update which, although said it was performance related, probaly had that trial messge embeded in it. So just DON"T install update 13.03 till adobe gets it's sea legs and stops puking up this message over and over. aloha, U
