Icons on navigation panel

If anyone know how we can configure to get icons on dynamic navigation panel.
I appreciate if any can help.

Hi Vinay,
U can change the icons in the theme editor :
System Administrator --> Portal Display --> Themes . and select your theme .
Select Navigational Panel and go for Detailed Navigation List .
Here u can change the icons for Folders, Documents and others.
Note: Place the icons in your Local Directory .

Hide Navigation Panel of PDF

Hi ,
we have process flow which can be initiated , reviewed and completed thru Adobe Workspace .
Here whenever the user opens the form, PDF has Navigation panel like search, attachments , Thumbnails and document extension.
Instead of attachment Tab of workspace to attach the documents , There are few users using attachment of Navigation panel and that will create problem.
So is there any way to remove the attachment icon or Navigation panel via script.

Remove/hide navigation panel header

Hi,
I tried making the expand and collapse icons to 0px and also made the detailed navigation iView "tray" property to false but it did not help me.
I have to hide or remove the navigation panel header(the expand/collapse panel). Thanks in advance.

Hi Patel,
To hide the navigation panel header there is nothing to do with the theme editor. For that you have to edit the default frame work page.
Open PCD>>Portal Users>>Std Portal users>> Default frame work page
Select the Desktop inner page from the default inner page and edit>> select the delatiled navigation iview and choose edit...
Select the Apppearence Tray from the Property Catogary drop down.
Make the Show Tray option to NO... save and close ...
This will hide the detailed navigation header.
If u want to hide the header of other iviews like portal favorites in the navigation pannel these are the steps to follow.

Hi,
Navigate to the Navigation panel of the selected Theme and make the width as 0px 0px 0px and also upload the blank image with the same background color.

Navigation Panel enabled on startup

Hi all
When I load NWBC, the button in the top left that opens the navigation panel is disabled. It is only enabled when I access one of the applications/transactions in the work center.
Is there anyway of enabling this as soon as I load NWBC?
The reason I ask: we may provide a different home screen from the work center/service map view, but we still want users to be able to navigate the menu.
Also: is it possible to default the navigation panel open?

For bootcamp within the windows OS, bootcamp is usually shown on the notification area icons
Like so.
But, now my computer does not have the symbol of the bootcamp panel when i boot up my windows. It thus, causes the function keys on the keyboard and th trackpad to not able to function.
So, for me to make my function keys and trackpad to function properly, i would need to go to control panel to redo the settings everytime i start up.
Without the startup of bootcamp control panel to support the keyboard and trackpad, it would fail to function on my Windows. However, booting in iOS would work perfectly.

Navigation Panel Pages button not displaying thumbnail pages

Version of Acrobat = Standard 8.0.0
OS = Win XP SP2
Networked Dell Optiplex 620
61.6GB Free disk space
No error messages
The Navigation Panel Pages button will not display pages in thumbnail format.
When clicked the highlight around the button icon changes from a square with rounded corners, to just rounded corners on the left of the highlight. The right hand side of the highlight is cut off straight as if by the thumbnail panel that isnt visible.
This behaviour is also repeated on the Bookmarks and Signatures buttons in the navigation Panel as well.
Fiddling around with all the navigation panel settings or the document settings I can find has not made the thumbnail pages reappear.
I havent been able to access the Updates section of the Adobe website today to apply any relevant updates.

Just in case, I would go through the updates to get AA8.1.2 and check if that was a bug in 8.0.0.

Can't open mail "icon" in control panel office 2013 windows 8.1 (fully patched)

I can't open mail "icon" in control panel office 2013 Home and business & windows 8.1 (fully patched), nothing happens just a short slowdown then this error.
Have **replicated** the error on **three different PC's** including 2 x fresh install VM's using 2 x different install CD's
I have also deleted the mail profile and try again and try to repair office. Have also tried Try to run the command "Control mlcfg32.cpl" and "Control
mlcfg64.cpl" this does nothing
win 8.1 64bit office 32 bit (have tried both 32 and 64)

Please check the following path to click the right cpl file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15\MLCFG32.CPL
If that works, you need check this registry path to see if it points a right path to the .cpl file:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Control Panel\Cpls

How can you display only one artboard in the Navigation Panel?

I would like to be able take advantage of the Navigation Panel as a thumbnail view of the artwork I am illustrating. The Adobe Illustrator file has 5 art boards. Is there an option in the Navigation Panel to view the art board I am working with, alone?

Why would that matter? Each GroupItem has its own controlBounds, height, width, position properties. Each Document has its own height, width, pageOrigin properties. The script would reference those properties to position the Group in the center of the document.

Acrobat 9 Pro: Can't view last odd page in navigation panel

When viewing pages of a pdf through the pages navigation panel in Acrobat 9 Pro in 2-up view, if the document finishes on an odd page, you cant scroll down and view the last page in the navigation panel. This wasn't a problem in Acrobat 8 Professional. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix this?
I have attached a screen capture that shows the problem.

Thank you, but that's not going to be very efficient for his purposes, he says. He's actually moving back to Acrobat 7 to build new documents. I spoke with Adobe tech support this morning and showed them the issue via desktop viewing; they stated that the engineers are still working on the problem and it "would fixed in the next major release." Very disappointing.
Do you any insight into when the next major release of Acrobat may be?

Cannot select multiple thumbnails in Pages Navigation Panel in 9.4.5

I've installed the latest Acrobat Pro version for Mac, 9.4.5, on both my iMac and MacBook Pro. In both cases, I no longer can select multiple thumbnails of pages in the Navigation Panel's Pages panel. Anyone know a fix for this?

Moving Navigation Panels in Adobe Acrobat X Pro

Is there a way to move a navigation panel from vertical (left side) to horizontal (bottom)? I used to be able to do this in Adobe Standard, but can't seem to figure out how to do it in X Pro.

Not the answer I wanted, but at least I can stop wasting my time trying to figure out how to do it. (It's so frustrating to lose functionality when you "upgrade".)

Acrobat XI Standard Doesn't Have a Compare Button on Navigation Panel

We have a few machines running Acrobat XI Standard. Neither of those users can do the side-by-side view of a previously compared document (accessed via the compare button on the navigation panel) like other users who are using Acrobat 9 Standard, X Standard and XI Pro. Is this just not an option anymore on XI standard? If that is the case we will be hesitant to upgrade all the users who are still on 9 and X.

The Acrobat XI help doc (http://helpx.adobe.com/en/pdf/acrobat_reference.pdf) indicates it is a Pro-only feature.

RoboHelp HTML Version 10 - Navigation panel not displaying in published project

We are generating a WebHelp project in RoboHelp HTML Version 10 and the navigation panel (TOC, Search, etc.) is no longer visible in the index file (viewed locally) and it's only visible by clicking "Show" when viewed in a web server. This issue is occurring with Internet Explorer 11 and Google Chrome Version 39.0.2171.99 m. I also tried to view the index files of previously generated projects and am experiencing the same issue (this did not occur before). Is this a known issue? It appears that there a few other discussions posted recently experiencing similar issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but I'm a bit confused. What you are describing sounds like perfectly normal behavior.
Can you share a link where this is happening? Not so we can click it, but so we can see what the link looks like.
If you want a topic to open with the surrounding navigation (TOC, Index, Search, Glossary) you need to click the Show link, then look at what's in the Address bar. Copy that link and you should have what you need.
