ICSS Refence User problem Urgent

Hi all,
We have created a refence user as - icssuser with roles required for icss b2c in su01 with user type- reference.
I have assigned in the refence user in the customizing - assign refernce user variable for b2c.
The problem is , when i tried to create an account in the ICSS B2C scenario, the sytem was able to detect the refernce user and picking up to the account, but it was not assigning the roles to the account from the refernce user.
How can i solve the issue.

crm_isai_iuser_userid_get type ur bp no, then you wil get userID
yu put this user id in su01 then whethe is locked or un locked and change the PWD then login to webshop with user id/email id with this pwd.
may be it will hel yu i think.

I try to login the visual admin again and gives me the following error: "Cannot open connection on host: 191.9.6.22 and port: 50004"
Looking the log and trace files i see the following errors:

DATE FIELD PROBLEMS - URGENT

I´m having trouble with FormsCentral.
My form is running about 8 months with no problems.
Yesterday people started to complain that the system doesn´t accept any date.
That means the date field restricts date entries, from date dd/mm/aaaa (brazilian format) to another dd/mm/aaaa, but every date that users input in, is considered by the system as invalid, even it´s a correct and valid date right between the interval specified!
I need Help Urgent!!!
I depend on these forms to finish the payrol service from here.

It looks like the system have some problem just with the date 20/10/2013?!
I´ve fixed the problem change the interval from 20/10/2013 to another date and used 21/10/2013 to another date and it works!
But I think something is wrong with the 20/10/2013 date?!
To reproduce the erros just create a new form with date feature with this exaclty configurations and the bug appears:

'Unknown user' problem in Guest account

Hello.
Remember the unknown user problem in the Finder that plagued everyone that upgraded from Tiger? Thanks to someone on these boards' AppleScript, I managed to fix that for my account eventually and get it changed to staff for every file and folder.
However, I just checked out my Guest account in Leopard, and when I do a Get Info on the home folder, the public folder and the sites folder, the unknown user still appears.
What do I need to do to fix this?
Would reinstalling Leopard sort it out by the way? I don't want to do it because it would create countless hassles, but is there a way of reinstalling Leopard that lets me keep my own home folder and applications while killing all the permissions problems?

Does it properly refuse authentication ? Or does the login page stop appearing or something ?
There was a bug with the webauth dying under heavy load, regardless of number of identical accounts used.
One good way for you to check would be, when problem occurs, to create a second backup guest user and see if that would start working. If it doesn't, the account is not the problem.
I'm not aware of any maximum of usage of the same account.
Which 4.2 exactly are you running ?

mostly u will problem related to Absences and absence quotas updation and some time u may get worng reports when u take reports
End user problems means it depends upon the nature of the functionality which he works
so check Time Related infotypes functionalities and their configuration issues

ICSS XCM Problem - Urgent

I have created new components - for "product catalog, registration, service contract.."in XCM .
But when i try to assign the components to the customer Application Configuration, Except JCO, remaining Customer components are not reflected,

I have taken Standard application configuration- icss_standard,
With refernene to that i created zicss_standard.
Next i created following components
JCO component - zjco_224
Registration component as - zregistration
Service request component as - zservice request.
then i restarted Java.
After that When i tried to assign to these components , i am unable to see any custom components expect JCO component in ZICSS_STANDARD.
Is it the software problem or any configuratins we need to made as basis level.

I have to build a query where i want to select records from the tables dynamically from different users. i.e Suppose I have many users 'USER1' , 'USER2' , 'USER3'... AND SO ON. All users have same tables. suppose 'Employee' is the table reside in all users. Now suppose if I supply owner name in the query, it must retrieve rows from Employee table from that particular user.

LIKE SCHEMA.OBJECT , when u call the object u don't need to define the schema because u are actually working on that schema but if u try to call the object from other schema u need to require the schema name Now i must describe the workeability of object with examples. Now suppose i have a table EMPLOYEE which has the object Address_Type AND IT IS DEFINED IN 2 USERS

if u try to create a dummy table in user1 from user2 it will give u error

This error is because object is created with the name of the schema (USER2.ADDRESS) and the schema where u are creating this object also contain the object type with refernce to the object
(USER1.ADDRESS).
The problem occurs when I try to define a variable of %ROWTYPE
it needs a schema name which i can not set it dynamically in the declaration part like for example

Shah I think the problem comes down to the fact that object address_typ in schema1 will have a different global object identifier to address_typ in schema2. They are therefore seen as different datatypes.
If you had a third schema which owned the object, and referenced this is the other two schemas, then you could quite happily insert the contents from schema1 into schema2.
e.g.
Schema3
CREATE OBJECT address_typ AS OBJECT (line_1 VARCHAR2(100), line_2 VARCHAR2(100));
GRANT ALL ON address_typ TO PUBLIC WITH GRANT OPTION;
Schema1
CREATE TABLE emp(empno NUMBER, ename VARCHAR2(100), address schema3.address_typ);
GRANT SELECT ON emp TO PUBLIC;
INSERT INTO emp VALUES (1, 'Smith', schema3.address_typ('Street','Town'));
Schema2
CREATE TABLE emp(empno NUMBER, ename VARCHAR2(100), address schema3.address_typ);
INSERT INTO emp SELECT * FROM schema1.emp;
In this example, the address column in both schema's is of the same datatype (schema3.address_typ).

Font security problem (urgent)

Hi!
I have a quite urgent problem (school project presentation comming up in a couple of days). At my school they are using illustrator CS5 and Windows 7. They dont allow any user to make changes to c: where illustrator and windows is installed.
My problem is that I need to be able to use a two of my own fonts. Is there any way to make illustrator load fonts from a specific folder, like a USB memory or external hard drive? Do you guys know any way that I can get around this issue? Any creative solutions would be MUCH apprechiated! Would it be possible to embedd the fonts into the illustrator file somehow, so I can continue and finish the work on the computers at school?

Does your school use a font manager program? If so you could install the font from a different location (USB
drive) to a new location (My documents folder) on the directory that the school DOES allow you to
utilize and make changes to.
If Not . .
You can do all of your font work at home and Create Outlines of your fonts, basically converting the font to a non-editable state (meaning you can't change the font properties or content--but you can still apply normal operations as if the font were an object or shape such as applying changes to a rectangle or circle that you place on the artboard). So--Create Outlines would be your best bet if you can't install the font to your school computer's hard drive.

Email to Manager of user on Urgent Change Request

I think I asked this before so I apologize but I am trying to figure out a way for a Manager of a user that creates an Urgent Change Control to get an email with the Change Control details.
I created a subscription and it triggers off the Title looking for the word Urgent. That works OK. The subscription uses Change Request as the Target.
The problem comes with the Recipient as is usually the case. I have to use Related Recipients because it could be anyone that submits the Change Request.
I have tried the following:
About Configuration Item[User] --> Manages User [User]
Is Related to Work Item[Work Item] -->About Configuration Item [User] --> Manages User [User]
Neither of which work. I know the subscription itself is working because the Assigned user gets the email, but the Manager does not.
Is this even possible without using Orchestrator? Seems reasonable that it should be.

You need some custom workflow that will send emails. I posted in the
blog with a source code of the solution that sends email programmatically using SCSM SDK. You could modify the code for your requirements. The default subscription cannot work with related to related items.

DEPLOY PROBLEM URGENT

Hi,
using JDeveloper 10.1.3.3 ADF BC & JSF. Until today we have deployed all our applications to: Standalone Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Application Server Control 10.1.3.1.0 throught JDeveloper, I would right click on web.xml, create War deployment profile... and then right click test.deploy and Deploy to AppServer, and everything worked fine.
But today we tried to move to:
Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Application Server Control 10.1.2.0.2
Supported Target Application Servers 10.1.2.0.2
and we cannot deploy any of our applications through JDeveloper, so we tried to do it manually through OC4J Home -> Applications -> Deploy WAR file... browsed and selected test.war entered Application Name and Map to URL... and got following error:

Changing that tag underlines following in web.xml and says Element dispatcher not expected, but I can compile and run application without problems:

I cannot find the version 1.4.0. so I've downloaded j2sdk1.4.0_04 and installed it.
To configure JDeveloper to build projects with JDK 1.4:
1.Install J2SE 1.4 on the machine running JDeveloper.
2.Configure JDeveloper with the J2SE 1.4 that you installed:
a.In JDeveloper, choose Tools > Manage Libraries. This displays the Manage Libraries dialog.
b.In the Manage Libraries dialog, choose the J2SE Definitions tab.
c.On the right-hand side, click the Browse button for the J2SE Executable field and navigate to the J2SE_1.4/bin/java.exe file, where J2SE_1.4 refers to the directory where you installed J2SE 1.4.

When you run an Oracle JDeveloper 10.1.3 application using the Embedded OC4J server, the application is configured for JDK 1.5. If you then try to switch to JDK 1.4, you will see JSP compile failures. To remedy this you need to force the application files to be re-compiled when OC4J is restarted with JDK 1.4. To configure Embedded OC4J to JDK 1.4:
1.Configure JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 according to the steps above.
2.Stop the embedded OC4J server instance.
3.Delete the following directory:

In the document you linked to, it says:
Before you can deploy applications that use ADF on third-party application servers, you need to install the ADF runtime libraries on those application servers. You can perform the installation using a wizard or you can do it manually:
*For WebLogic, JBoss, and Tomcat, you can install the ADF runtime libraries from JDeveloper using the ADF Runtime Installer wizard. See Section 34.12.1, "Installing the ADF Runtime Libraries from JDeveloper".
*For WebSphere, you have to install the ADF runtime libraries manually. See Section 34.12.2, "Configuring WebSphere 6.0.1 to Run ADF Applications".
*For all application servers, you can install the ADF runtime libraries manually. See Section 34.12.3, "Installing the ADF Runtime Libraries Manually".
but we're not using third party app servers since this is not standalone version, we used tomcat before, now colleague that installed OAS told me it doesn't use third party app servers.
What do you mean by this:
"If you did try including the ADF logger library in your deployment file."
How do I do that?
So now I cannot run embbed app server and test locally using j2sdk1.4.0_04 no matter what I try, and still no luck with deploy. I'm afraid that if I cannot do this with newly created test apps without any complexity, what kind of problems will I have to deal with real production apps...
I'll keep trying and I'll post if I figure out anything,

Login Problem URGENT

Hi.
I'm having a problem login into the portal with every users. The problem is that when i try to login the login page is shown again, i mean it doesnt enter to the Portal.
Checking the logviewer y look the following exceptions:
- Message ID (UNKNOWN_ERROR) not found in properties files-UNKNOWN_ERROR

I dont know if those exceptions are the cause of the problem.

Creating a triangle using polygon class problem, URGENT??

Hi i am creating a triangle using polygon class which will eventually be used in a game where by a user clicks on the screen and triangles appear.

Cannot find symbol constructor Polygon(int, int, int)
Can some one tell me where this needs to go and what i should generally
look like pleaseI don't think it is a good idea to try and add the constructor that the compiler
can't find. Instead you should use the constructor that already exists
in the Polygon class: ie the one that looks like Polygon(int[], int[], int).
But this requires you to pass two int arrays and not two ints as you
are doing at the moment. As you have seen, evt.getPoint() only supplies
you with a single pair of ints: the x- and y-coordinates of where the mouse
button was pressed.
And this is the root of the problem. To draw a triangle you need three
points. From these three points you can build up two arrays: one containing
the x-coordinates and one containing the y-coordinates. It is these two
arrays that will be used as the first two arguments to the Polygon constructor.
So your task is to figure out how you can respond to mouse presses
correctly, and only try and add a new triangle when you have all three of its
vertices.
[Edit] This assumes that you expect the user to specify all three vertices of the
triangle. If this isn't the case, say what you do expect.

Excel Download problem - Urgent please

Hi All,
I am using 4.6C version.
The user is downloading the ALV output to excel from the output menu
List > Save > File > Spreadsheet >
User tried saving a file to the Local drive and got a "Disk is full" error.
User realized that the export didn't complete (Partial download)
because there wasn't enough disk space to export the report.
User stated that if he had received an error message of some sort, he might have realized the problem.
He didn't receive any kind of errors.
User would like some kind of error message to come up in those situations.
Without an error message, he assumes the reports are acurate and trusts them.
<b>I have analysied and found a exit EXIT_SAPLGRAP_001 which triggres after the popup asking the file path. However this exit doesnot give me the file path</b>.
After this i think i can make use of the class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES and method GET_FREE_SPACE_FOR_DRIVE and FILE_GET_SIZE to check for disk space full.
Kindly let me know how to get the file path given in the popup to get it in the exit EXIT_SAPLGRAP_001. Also there was no parameter id for the field.

What "download FM" is 4.6 using then?
The GUI_DOWNLOAD does check for a disk_full situation... I find it hard to believe that SAP made an oversight here.
I believe that the user is not telling the truth to you... or something else happened in that they have not conveyed to you.
