Idea for new iphone accessory

I think I have a very nice idea for a new iphone accessory, one that would probably require the upcoming 3.0 software, since it would require a external piece of hardware.
I myself have no technical skills. So development would have to be done by a third party.
Actually the same is true for the financial side. Really all I have is an idea, and I am sure that my idea is new. There isn't anything like it on the market yet.
What to do??

Get a patent for it. Once you have the patent, shop it to other iPhone accessory manufacturers.

There are several options for doing just that. Try "L5 Remote", for instance. Note that they all need the purchase of an IR transmitter accessory.

Idea for new ipod accessory

hi!
on an adventure trip in my last holidays i had an idea.
I thought about combining a gps device with my ipod and it would be really easy to do that (if i were apple and had the sources of the ipod os :))
you connect a serial gps mouse, start an application on the ipod and when you press a button, a *.kml file with the coordinates is stored in an extra folder.
when you doubleclick the file, google earth is loaded and you can exactly see the waypoints of your trip
and in some years you have a nice overview of all holidays, journeys and special places you have been.
i'd buy one

1.1.3 was released yesterday. When you setup and sync your phone if the software is not up to date, you will be able to do it at that time.

Idea for new film camera

I'm a big Minolta and Sony fan. I wanted to write you and ask if Sony would consider making a new generation of film camera based on a film that could be shot at different ISO's via in-camera pre-flashing of the film as the next big evolution of film photography? Ideally this new film camera would use the MC/MD mount lenses where aperture rings are still used, and also manual focus. We film shooters need a new camera with next generation abilities that affords the use of older lenses. The idea to use pre-flashing of film on a frame by frame basis means a new method of exposure of film, and also a new way to process it, as all frames would be exposed to the same negative contrast density regardless of ISO applied. These new generation of film cameras would be variable ISO film cameras just like their digital counterparts. Reset encryption password for NEW iPhone backups

Hello Everyone,
I have an iPhone and iPad which are currently working perfectly. However during testing I figured out that I somehow lost my iTunes backup encryption password. As such I figured I would just change the backup password, delete the old backups, and create NEW backups for which I do know the password to and all would be good (and ready for a future device failure.)
However it appears that iTunes will not allow you to change or disable the encryption password for NEW backups without first knowing the old encryption password. Does anyone know if a way around this?

Yes it is, since you are over 13 you can create account for yourself and allow your kid to use it until 13 when she can take it over.

WhatsApp no longer available for new iPhone downloads?

My factory-unlocked iPhone 4, bought straight from the Apple Online Store, was delivered to me on Friday. I tried downloading WhatsApp from the App Store but the app couldn't be found there. I tried going through the WhatsApp site in the hope that the site would direct the download through the App Store but that didn't work either. So I then tried to sync the programme file, which was working on another iPhone, to my iPhone through iTunes but that won't work either. The transfer goes through to the phone but I keep getting an error saying "WhatsApp failed to install." Am I to conclude that WhatsApp is no longer available for the iPhone for new downloads? The WhatsApp website still has the iPhone listed as one of their supported devices but the installation just won't work. Has their policy changed? If so, is there any other free multi-platform instant messenger that I can use for contacts who are BlackBerry and Android users? I haven't any issues downloading any other apps at all and the phone works beautifully. Please someone help me with this one! Thank you.

What cover should I get for new iPhone 4?

I'm getting my aunt an 8GB iphone 4 as a gift and am trying to figure out what version of screen/body protectors should I get? Will the new iPhone 4 for Verizon be the same as the Verizon 16 & 32 GB iPhone 4's? Please help.

I have the iphone 4 incase slip case. I was against cases, but since I dock my iphone to charge it, this worked really well. It's also very descrete looking.
I've also heard otterbox makes some really nice high end cases. They are pricey and bulky but do the job.
There is also the 12south book book case that acts as a car holder and case and looks like a leather book. This looked appealing since I do read with my iphone a lot but it was big and seemed more for a purse or counter then my pocket. I could see getting it for an ipod touch.
