Hey Friends,
I want u all to answer my Question is why don't Nokia includes Nokia C2-03,C2-06,C2-01 type phones in the Smart buy back offer on Nokia Lumia 520,620 etc?
by this they can pick up those flop phone out of the market which are not good for Nokia's image,
and sell excelent smartphones in market.
What say..!!!!

Hi,
You have to create two material numbers viz one for old welding machines and other one for new welding macjines. Also as stated it appears as you are getting replacement for the opld machines for which you can decide with your vendor , what are the charges he is going to lieved for returning back theold machine. While creating purchase order fopr new welding machine you must add the old welding machine with its material number and movement type 161 and marking return indicator in the item overview. With this you have only pay the vendor the diffrence between the cost of new machine minus the cost of old machine which you nad vendor has agreed .
You have create two material numbers as stated above , so that you can have two different sets of info records. Also they should hit same G/L accounts as defined.

Looking for Nokia Lumia 620 back shell

Due to the fact that my headphone jack on my Lumia 620 is going out, I am trying to find a place to buy the back shell part to the phone. Does anyone know where I can buy one?
I already checked amazon, and the only thing available either can't be shipped to the US or the shipping is outrageous. So can anyone tell me where else to buy one that can be shipped to the US or is semi cheap (under $20)?

How do you submit technology ideas for Microsoft to buy?

Hi, Chris here. Some of you already know me. I'm a MS beta tester and technogeek.
As I'm sure you have too, I've come up with technology ideas that I and those around me thought were truly great, but I struggled with getting my ideas 'out there' and through tech companies' doors like Microsoft. It's a minefield! There are so many legal roadblocks
that make those companies 'scared' of the very thing they should embrace – the brilliant ideas of everyday Edisons like you and me.
I decided to do something about it, so here in LA me and a small team are in the early stages of creating a portal called Bideas - 'Where big companies bid on big ideas'. You could think of it as a sort of private 'eBay for ideas', in any sector, not just computing.
Just like eBay revolutionized the second hand market, and largely took down antiques shops, I want Bideas to revolutionize the way our innovations are tapped into, and take down the antique patent system founded in 16th century Greece – one that's come under
a lot of criticism of late, and the other copyright systems that cost more than they're worth when someone steals your idea anyway. They just can't keep up with modern technologies, but that's exactly what the Internet can do.

I think in the Music Player for N-Series phone there should be the following added;
One the Music player menu;
Reverberation;
- Living Room
- Cave
- Railway Station
- Forest
- Duct
- Underwater
this give good sound output via speakers

I've tried it on my PC, and I've also tried it on some recordings with my band, but mostly to joke around.
I also remember to have used it when playing Quake and Soldier of Fortune to enhance the game effects, but even then after a while I will switch it off.
I haven't tried it on a phone, but I don't even like Stereo Widening or Loudness.

Improvements for nokia s40v5 devices

Hi I was just thinking... I think this is a good idea for nokia and nokia users...
So here's what i mean... all of us have nokia phones right? some of us has nokia phones that runs the nokia s40v5 operating system right?so i was jus thinking...for the upcoming firmware updates for them, can you add some brand new features like "HomeScreen" which s40v6 has and s40v3 has it... why s40v5 doesn't come with active standby or homescreen?
here's another feature that you guys may like. In music player themes, instead of default music player themes installed on the phone like black, squares, sound waves, and some music player themes, the music player theme/background will be get in the themes (the .nth file)not in the mobile phone itself.
Another feature that you guys may like is the new gallery, just like the one's in nokia c1-01 and nokia c3-00.
Another one is the facebook client just like in nokia c3-00, x2-01.
another one is smart dialing, which is just like when you typpe 5555, the phone will say that's mom's number(09165555882).
Another one is the improved video recording... Instead of QCIF (176x144) resolution, use QVGA(320x240) or VGA(640x480) recording resolutions at 15fps and recording it with a mp4 codec... The video recording will result in crystal clear shots!!!
The one and the most important features that the s40 phones should get is multitasking... Yes you heard it right, multitasking. Just like in smartphones, nokia s40v5 devices should get multitasking. But always there's should be a limit to prevent the phone to crash although almost all nokia s40v5 phones has only 2.1mb of RAM(according to memoryUP pro application)...
If it's still possible, by only software update, the RAM may be increased for just like 10mb or more (phone memory will be used although we got memory cards right???)
what do you think guys and nokia developers, what do you think??? is this a cool idea???

Unfortunately S40v5 won't be gaining any of the major features found in S40v6 models. Time has moved on so if you want the features found in S40v6 devices you will need to buy one.
You are welcome to start a new thread giving suggestions about what you think should be added to the current (S60v6) or future operating systems.

Symbian is simply ****UGLY**** Take a look at the s^3 interface in N8 reviews, its just as ugly as the N97 interface. and it still looks as if it's just S60v3 ported to a touch device, the "options" and the "back" button on the bottom of the display are still there like in S60v3. Duhhhh, I mean seriously, there are better ways of controlling a touch interface than putting a touch sensitive version of the S60 "soft key" concept. Instead of copying the "non user-replaceable battery" idea from apple, they could have attempted copying the UI. But there's a problem, apple won't sue nokia if they copy a drawback of the iphone, but would definitely take steps if they copy an USP of the apple product I won't post an idea in that link you provided, instead I'd post an idea for nokia here, Dear nokia decision makers, Symbian is nonsense. Please drop symbian rubbish. You made a bad investment in symbian and you are punishing your loyal customers for a mistake that you made. There's still time, you are still number one. Please drop symbian while there's time. Best of luck.

Good news for Nokia and the N8

Extract from a review of 2010 which isn't that kind to Nokia in parts but does include this -

It wasn't a QT update. If you install the P2CMS software, it adds a component that allows you to read the MXF files. It was a happy discovery that I found when someone else posted how they were able to see the MXF files in QT and import them directly (without the Log and Capture) but were miffed that they had to sync audio later. I told them that they imported incorrectly, but was amazed that suddenly the Mac saw the MXF files.
Still better to import the proper way..this way audio and video are tied as one file.

How to get money back for Nokia n97?

Hi Guys!
I gave up with Nokia N97!!! I have a lot of problems with it. All of them are known. While this 2,5 months of using the device I was so **bleep** off and felt very uncomfortable while using it! Is that what we paid $700 for?? To see how good it is in the official video commercial and how damn SLOW, buggy and how bad the hardware is? I waited for software update and was hoping to see nice and fast device, oh! and working GPS! Instead - it's still the same "smart" which is most worse on nokia market. That's enough!
So now I have this question: How to get money back for Nokia n97 after 2,5 months of usage? or maybe exchange to n900? I will call to customer care center soon but maybe someone of you have done this already and you can give some tips?

IMac buy back program? Ideas? Just got a i7 2010 in January... And now the new ones have thunderbolt and 3.4 ghzs

As stated, I got an i7 2010 model in january, and the new iMacs just came out. Is there some kind of buy back program with apple? If not :/ . Anybody have ideas? (I also noticed the new maxed out is cheaper than the 2010s). Thanks everyone!

There's no buy back programme I've ever heard of.
The i7 you've got is still a pretty potent machine - does it do everything you want or do you need something that the new iMac's offer.

TS1362 Everything works except the **** thing won't play. I push the play arrow or instruct it to play and it stays eternally paused. No problem buying things from these dogs,just can't play the when everthing pops up on screen.Any ideas for a hopeless ol

Everything works on ITunes except play function.I can select as song I want but cannot get it off "pause."I tried going to controls and instructing it to play(no go) and clicking again and again on play arrow(which flips it to pause...).Any ideas for a very old,very frustrated non-tech guy???

Replying to myself. Kept trying different areas of the ipod this evening, clicking various buttons, including some I'd never used before. All of a sudden I could see my Nano in iTunes. I quickly clicked on Restore before iTunes changed its mind about recognizing the iPod. Moved some songs onto it and it appears to be back to normal. Keeping my fingers crossed.

If you mean you accidentally removed the icon for iMovie from the Dock (the array of icons at the bottom of the window), you can add it back easily.
Open the Applications folder (if you open it from the Dock you may then need to click the Open in Finder icon), locate the iMovie program.
Drag the icon for iMovie down to the Dock, somewhere between the icon for Finder and the dashed line toward the right.
Wait for the icons at that spot to move aside, then drop it in.

Bring Back mini qwerty for nokia X6 :(

please nokia, consider bringing back the mini qwerty for x6 , i don't think it's hard to do that..it really looks a lot better..also,developpers should design a custom pack ,lt should be that when x6 users install swype app. it automatically enables the mini qwerty in x6, otherwise there is no mini qwerty..
forgot to ment ion I've just installed Opera Mobile which gives the option for a QWERTY in portrait mode, and I have to say it works extremely well. Perhaps Nokia could look at Opera's keyboard and implement something similar!

Not sure what version of Swype you are using but perhaps the latest Beta release has addressed this issue. I'm not entirely sure because I don't use Swype at all.
You can log-in to the Beta labs site using the same login details as for this forum and download the latest version for S60 v5.
