Idea tab A3000 Streaming live TV

I have dipped my toe into the tablet water, with the A3000 for the specific purpose of streaming live TV and online video to my TV via a dongle.
I have BT infinity WIFI with a excelant signal and 24.6Mb download speed.
You tube and other online video works with no problems at all, no buffering, no drop outs.
I have tried the following apps:-
BBCi player (including the required plug in)
TV catchup
TV guide
They all do the same thing, the live program plays for around 2 minutes then either the picture dissapears, it buffers or an error message comes up.
Is there a setting I need to change in the tablet menu? Any help appreciated.

I had a go with my UK spec A3000, I have the same problem on iPlayer but not on TVcatchup or SkyGo, playing the same BBC streams. iPlayer was fine on non-live video. I tried BBC1 and BBCnews. Since I use TVcatchup or SkyGo for most of my tablet based watching I had never experienced the problem until you drew it my my attention.
Table firmware is A3000_A422_003_026_130823_WW_SMS_FUSE
Internet connection is Sky ADSL, 23Mb clocking rate to the exchange (I'm only 200 meters away).
I'll watch out for this in the future.

Idea Tab A3000, Driver Problem

Hi.. I have two major issue for my Idae Tab 3000H having double SIM without calling facility.
1) My Idea pad A3000H is not installing while connecting to the USB port in the OFF mode.
2) Though the hardware is there but I couldnot call as there is no calling facility even with double SIM.
Both the problems are quite irritating as I couldnot access programs like whatsapp. Please suggest me the remedy of my problems (problem 1 and problem 2)

It's distinguishing feature is the dual SIM card function - a rare find in tablets.
The latest firmware version is 131112 with full Call(voice) functions here in the Philippines (I believe in Asia).

You can connect A3000 to the PC's port with the cable provided for data transferring with the PC. There are 3 connection methods available, USB storage, Media device (MTP) and Camera (PTP)

tap USB computer connection

as an a3000 owner that issue has came up with mine try resetting ur machine and selecting it back to auto rotate on issue should its self if not find a repair tech buy DO NOT use lenovo they will mess it up and refuse to fix it they have had mine for a month and refuse to fix there screw up also don't use geeksquad all they will do is over charge you and send it to lenovo so try a local shop or something if the previously stated fix does not work

Idea Tab A3000 can't read SIM 1

I have just recently passed this table to my kid to use. It was working flawlessly for me since i had it. Both the sim card 1 and 2 worked. The 3g and the 2g worked.
Yesterday i had a full factory reset before giving it to my daughter. When we put her simcard in slot one. It keeps saying that there is no sim. So we tried putting it in sim 2. It worked! But she wants 3g, 2g is something she can't live with lol. Then we put it back to sim 1. Still not detecting
We took her brother's sim card and put it in slot 1. It worked! With 3g all functioning. But when we put her sim inside again to slot 1. It was still not detecting
We just came back from requesting a new sim card for her number. It still doesnt work.. OH GOOD HEAVENS. I am about to loose my mind. What could be wrong?
I don't think the sim tray is faulty coz it reads mine and my son's sim card perfectly. I don't think its the sim thats faulty, we just changed it to a new one!

i found out by chance that the Skype extension was causing this problem when I uninstalled it because of problems with Google Maps. Now all is OK.

Mid 2011 mbp i7 with a SSD has problems, including grey screen/blue screen/beeping/freezing when I stream live video (i.e. watch espn or time warner cable) Help? Ideas?

Recently my Macbook Pro (June 2011, i7, 8gb RAM, 512gb SSD, AMD Radeon 6750, Mountain Lion - since July - currently 10.8.2) has been presenting me with an array of problems, usually initiated when I am streaming live video. I was streaming Time Warner Cable on 12/9 and it gave me what looked like the blue screen of death. It started up after about five attempts that time. The other day, after about a week of not using the computer, it wouldn't boot past the grey screen. I (option) started it and it gave me two boot choices, the regular HD and a "10.8 restore" option. The HD gave me the grey screen and the restore option gave me the dark blue screen. I reset PRAM and that didn't work. After a force (x) start it worked. Today, I was using "Watch ESPN" and the screen froze and the computer did some kind of repeating RAM beep or something. I rebooted and it started up fine. I'm not watching any videos anymore, but this is a problem since the primary purpose for my mbp is video editing. I'm still under AppleCare but I find more solid answers in the forums or at least better questions for the AppleCare people.
Anybody have similar experiences, or a solid idea of what the heck has happened to my machine?

I'm not really sure what method that person was talking about. I just read he had a successful install so I posted it.
But I'll hazard a guess
1. copy your entire drive to a backup drive
2. boot into that drive and test it out - make sure its a flawless backup, it works, and the hard drive has no problems
3. eject that drive, disconnect it and reboot into the leopard install dvd
4. erase your main hard drive using disc utilities on the leopard install dvd -- you've made a backup, made sure that backup was good, and disconnected it so it's currently safely disconnected from the leopard install you're about to do. Also, on the hard drive you're erasing and installing leopard on to, many people recommend "Zeroing" it as well as erasing it. That option is part of the erase function in disc utilities on the leopard install disc.
5. do a clean install of leopard
6. follow step 4 from that original post exactly as that person described to do.
7. read the rest of what they said
That's pretty much it. With the backup/erase/clean install/import/ you pretty much get everything you need exactly the way you want it with very few things missing -- and you've done this over a clean install. Plus that poster did mention that you can select what you want to import from your backup hard drive.
It sounds like its a "clean install" method that gives you control via "import from machine" option in the installer. Control over what parts of your "old mac" you want to import into your "new leopard mac".
Hopefully that helps. It sounds more involved, but its actually pretty quick and provides you with a perfectly save backup in case anything goes wrong with the leopard install.

I want to get rid of cable TV, i pay a subscription to a cable company who offer 50 TV channels of which I am interested in only five , I just want to watch my favorite channels for example 2, 3 channels from France, 2 from Spain, 3 from USA and one from Brazil why not .... but how ??? i try some aplication on iPad or iPhone to watch channels but i didnt find what i really wanna watch and im thinking why Apple dont change this and im sure we can change the way to watch Tv , and i have an ideea and im sure Apple can do it ... just create a new stand ,can be just iTv where on the same sistem like newsstand i can subscribe to my favorite channels and Apple can create a sistem to stream live many TV channels and its so easy to watch your favorite tv live everywhere in iPhone or iPad and take it with you when you travel why not ??? and we can do the same on apple tv to have this posibility to subscribe and watch your favorite channels live stream that will be really great !!!!!!!

This is a user forum. Anyway, as it stands you can purchase tv shows directly on the ATV. It's not simply about an idea, it's a matter of what the networks agree to as well.

Someone could give you better and more exact information but you didn't include the model number of your computer. But I can give you a pretty generic answer. At the top of this webpage you should see Product Support. Click on Laptops and then select which model of Toshiba computer you own, ie Satellite, Tecra, etc. Finally type in the model number of your computer. Select the exact model number and click the red Go button to the right. Click the Downloads tab and look thru the different drivers for this computer. Make sure that the new video driver is newer and has a higher version number than your current video driver. If it does, click the Download button, click the Run button and let it do the installation. Afterwards, reboot the computer so that the latest drivers are fully installed. Try again with that game.

Lenovo Idea tab A 3000 Deleting selected conversations Issue

Hello, I just bought A 3000 Idea tab and in the messaging I do not see an option to delete selected threads at once by selecting. We can only delete selected conversations in one thread / delete all threads. Can anyone tell me whether this option exists in A3000?

I don't think the stock Android Messaging app supports that (although I can't say that I've ever tried it personally). There's lots of alternative messaging apps available on the Play Store, I'm sure you can find one there that better meets your needs.

Cant stream live games overseas

Trying to stream the live games via my phone app whilst in the US with no luck.. all other content (including highlights and replay videos) working fine.. just not live stream.
Any ideas? Really wanna see the origin this week.

Is it possible to stream live video & audio from device cameras & mics to a server?

I would like to know if I can use flash builder to stream live video and audio from Android & IOS device cameras and mics to a media streaming server such as Flash Media Server or Wowza? I know the Android & IOS APIs allow for this but can it be done using Flex/Actionscript? The key here is "live" so you wouldn't want to have to wait for video and audio files to complete on the disk before sending it out. Ideally you would send it out via RTMP or HTTP streaming to stream out but any stream would do since once it gets to the server you can encode it.

Yes, It's can do but There is a problem on IOS 8 when Switch Camera, Microphone is muted and Sound return when I press home button from my iphone out and press app again for few second
You can use as same as flash desktop video streaming for coding in mobile.
