Ideal Set-up, Could it Work?

I have a Sony Vaio Laptop, a iPhone4, and a Sony Bravia TV. I'm thinking about getting a Sony Blu-ray player. I recently have been weighing the idea of buying all my movies off iTunes. However, I want to be able to play them on my TV with having to sacrifice my laptop or phone to the TV for a couple hours. What I really want to do is be able to put all my movies on a small terabyte external hard drive and hook it up to the TV or the Blu-ray player and be able to play the movies. Is there a way to do this without the marketed EXTRANEOUS USELESS crap apple gives away for that? I don't want 10 different things plugged up into my TV because apple can't find a good solution. It wastes hdmi ports. I still like to have my wii and xbox360 plugged in and direct tv receiver plugged in. I'm a customer and I want my life to be easy.

If it was me I would get an apple TV($99). Then you just stream everything in Itunes library to either the tv or phone or any other computer in the house via homeshare. The only downside to this is that the external hardrive has to be connected to the computer because Itunes has to be open for all the streaming to work (unless you just want to rent movies from itunes which is directly from the apple tv). However, if that is a problem you could always just spring for a wireless external harddrive so that the computer and external harddrive don't have to be together. Of course that costs more money especially if you haven't already purchased an external harddrive. I'm not an expert on other solutions, but I know the Apple tv works great with itunes especially if the external harddrive is connected to a mac.
In fact you actually bring up a great point. If the Apple tv would allow an external drive with an itunes library to be directly connected to it-- it would be pimp.

sharepoint could definitely be acessed from a browser on an iOS device....you might want to start with the enterprise deployment guide..the question you have is a big one and there are a lot of operational issues.....the deployment guide will start with how to implement iOS devices in an enterprise environment...

There is no password to Thunderbird. The password you need is to the email account. Contact the email provider for password reset.

Yes. Well, sort of: instead of a "path", set the pen tool to "shape" in the tool properties. Then set the fill colour to transparent, and the stroke colour to the colour you want. You can also set the stroke width.
Not perfect, but at least you can see the path more clearly - the anchor points and handles still remain the default colour. Open the path panel, and right-mouse click the path shape to create a selection based on that shape. The Paths panel menu also allows you to create work paths based on that shape.
Unfortunately when you try to move the handles the black thin outline appears again until you release the mouse button.
This is one of several things that works better in Photoline: in Photoline, once the path is set to a specific colour, editing the path uses the actual colour and stroke width. which is extremely handy for creating path based selection with awkward background colours and/or a high resolution screen. In Photoline the handles and bezier points are also much, much larger, which makes it rather simpler to work with as well - especially on a higher resolution screen. And when selected the handles and points are a clear red with a black outline - again easier to spot and identify. I just works better, in my opinion.

This is really unfortunate. I'm sorry that nothing works. I was going to mention holding down the power button and doing a force shutdown but you already did that. You might need to take it into the Apple store. I don't know if booting into safe mode would help. You would have to turn off the machine again, hit the start button and hold down the shift key after you hear the tone, but normally you would let go of the shift key when you see the apple logo and spining wheel. Maybe by holding down the shift key after you here the tone will cause the screen to come back on? The other option is to start up from the 'install disk' if your machine came with one. You would insert the disk, then shut down the computer, and hold down the C key right after hitting the start button.

Version sets in 12 not working correctly

Do other people have an issue in Photoshop Elements 12 with it not consistently saving photos in version sets? someties it works correctly and somethimes it doesn't and it also bumps me out stating it is a new photo. i do have it configured to always save in version sets and to not notify me with new photos?

Title & Menu Buttons not working correctly on remote control/ set top player but work in preview.

Title & Menu Buttons not working correctly on remote control/ set top player but work in encore preview. This only happens for a Blu ray project. When a user presses the menu button it should go to the previous menu they were on but it goes to the main menu. When they press the title button they should go to the main menu but it doesn't do anything. My DVD projects work as expected.I've tried creating a new "test" project with different footage and still get the same undesirable results.
Overrides grayed out and set to "not set" for timelines and menus.Project settings and build are set to blu ray. Also I've noticed when I preview a Bluray project the preview window shows a red colored disc next to the Title button when viewing the timelines and green when playing the menus but not so for a DVD project it displays red if motion menus and or timelines are not rendered/encoded. I'm not using motion menus and all the media is encoded according to the project specs.
I've searched this forum but couldn't find the answer. Any help or redirects to a solution would be appreciated. Working with CS5. Thanks.

I found out on my Samsung Blu ray player the remote has a tools button on it that brings up audio, angle, chapter selection etc.and also title selection which is actually the menus and the timelines unfortunately. It's not as easy or direct as last menu selected but it's a workaround at least. I also plan on using a pop up menu. I'll let you know.

I logged in to fb but could not 'work' anything, changed browser to chrome google and everything worked, why is this?

I could login, could read everything on fb but could not 'work' on fb, could not 'like', not post, not access anything.
My tech suggested changing from firefox to chrome google and everything worked.
Only other problem is that windows has taken over the posts of my photos and I can't see the photos now, just little green box in middle of screen unless I click on the box and it opens up the photo. How do I get my photos back now, as well.
Am going back to firefox once more to see if everything is cleared up.
Any suggestions about getting photos 'released' would be good.

Home Page setting option is not working. Home Page always reverts back to Modzilla Firefox Start Page.

Home Page setting option is not working after saving a new or different home page on Firefox 19.0. When opening a new page (not tab) it always reverts back to the default "Modzilla Firefox Start Page" no matter what.

That was it! There was a duplicate preference file in the profile folder. Followed the instructions under "Locked Preferences File" to
6. Delete any prefs-n.js files where n is a number (e.g. prefs-2.js).
Once I deleted it I was able to then save my preferred home page.
