Ideapad A10 Specs clarification

Hello,
I want clarification on the specifications of this product which just recently is advertised in my local market of a country called Oman.
On the website it says to feature a Cortex-A9 CPU but on this ad it says i3 2.5 ghz CPU.
Please clarify if there are other varieties of this product which feature this CPU.

I have bought this device two weeks ago. It is definitely the first and not the later Intel CPU. Don't take our stores ads seriously.

  • Ideapad A10 32GB version?

    Hi everyone,
I've spotted the Lenovo Ideapad A10 on sale in the UK at various online vendors. The version currently I have seen has 1GB RAM and 16GB storage. Can anyone tell me when a version with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage (as stated in the original announcement spec) might come out? I'm waiting keenly for this!
    Thanks

  • Language change : Lenovo ideapad A10

    Hi,
I bought lenovo ideapad A10 serial no. UB02114387 from Oman. There are only three language options given viz, Arabic, French and some other language. How can I change to english. I called technical support in India but could not get a satisfactory reply. Please suggest.

It's a totally your problem. I think you messed up your tab by rooting and by using wrong app from playstore. Make sure permissions to systemui.apk and .odex are rw-r-r.

  • Ideapad A10 - Internal storage capped at 1GB

Hello, The internal storage on my Ideapad A10 is set to 1GB with the remaining space on the SSD being labeled as "NAND storage". Is that really the intended configuration? Is there a way to expand the internal storage portion of the SSD at the expense of the "NAND storage"? Otherwise, can anyone recommend an app that automatically moves non-system apps to NAND?

Whoops... Should have read the posts regarding other Android-based products first.
So apparently a firmware update is supposed to fix that internal storage issue.
    My firmware version is JDQ39.A10_S020_131203
The software update widget claims this is the lastest version. Am I missing something?
(By the way Kingsoft has stopped supporting the version of their Office suite that ships with the A10)

  • IdeaPad A10 1GB partition limitation

Hello everybody. Just bought a IdeaPad A10 laptop and had a major surprise, a nasty one in fact!Apps partition is limited at 1 GB storage! Even if total storage space is plenty to spare, for 16GB, why even think to do somethig like that?NO WAY!Can't anyone do something about it? We know it is a low budget and a dead device as production stopped but still there are users over there who use your product.Maybe A10 Laptop was an experiment that went wrong and left it to rot (or Chromebooks took over...)?Still you sell it.But no support for users.Shame on you...ASUS are better optimized in this matter. My FonePad has all 16GB available to user... But Asus invest in software development a lot, LENOVO don't??? I just felt like buying another cheap, cheap, low end/ low budget device... Thanks... for nothing LENOVO.

Yeah, I reckon that someone cut a deal with them to kill the A10. Why would you release a product like this? It an ideal prodcut for me, if it worked, but it seems the industry is really keen not to produce something like the eee pc again. They want to keep prices up and not produce cheap, semi-disposable machines.
I liked the A10 because of its price point. I can take it with me in situations where I wouldn't want to risk a more expensive machine like the beach or on long haul flights. I can just chuck it in a backpack and not worry too much about it getting damaged.
This is the first the lenovo I bought. Its definitely the last too.

Slackware Linux 13.37 installed on Lenovo Ideapad A10. Contains a big set of standard packages and LibreOffice. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byyv_ivdk-JBWU82OGw0MURSOTQ/view?usp=sharing It's a compressed image of bootable Micro-SD card. After decompressing the size is near 8GB, then we need a card with capacity at least 16GB (preferred 32GB C10 class).  - download and decompress above file - write the image to Micro-SD - optionally resize the partition (fdisk, resize2fs) - put a card into Lenovo A10 and reboot Enjoy, GaPiK

  • IdeaPad A10

  • Ideapad A10 - Internal Storage 1G Limitation Major Problem

I have had the A10 Ideapad for less than 2 days and have installed a handful of apps. I am now told that there is not enough storage for additional applicaitons. The 16g internal stoge has been divided up into 1G internal storage and the remainder "nand" storage.
This seems to have been spetacularly short-sighted as now I am out of storage for apps which insist on being instlaled on the internal partition. How can I resize the "internal storage" partition or at least force apps to install on the "nand" parition or to SD card. I would prefer not to root the device and not to have to install any move2sd apps.
    thanks

  • Functional spec clarification

    Hello gurus,
I need some tips in analyzing a functional spec. I really need to know what all information I definitely need to have in a functional spec so as to start writing a technical spec.
This is how my func spec looks like:
    It has few KPI's listed.
    Empty business content section.(nothing mentioned)
    Empty Multi provider section.(nothing mentioned)
    Report properties.
    Data fields (nothing mentioned)
    columns and rows of report.
    Drill downing characteristics.
Now my question with the above mentioned information can we call it to be a complete functional spec????  and can i start writing a technical spec???
I am confused what all information shud a functional spec have???
does it need to list all the technical names of the infoobjects, infocubes, ods, data sources etc needed for a data model??????
correct me if I am wrong:
functional spec=technical names of IO, ods, IC,etc
Technical spec=detailed information of io, ods, ic??????? is it right????
    Eagerly waiting for your inputs.
    PLEASE HLEP ME OUT GURUS.
    WILL SURELY AWARD POINTS.
    Regards

Thank you so much for your reply .
Need some more inputs from you in writing a technical spec.
I have actually collected all the fields in the functional spec, and then I have searched the business content for a extract structure with those fields. But i was not able to find all the fields in a single extract structure, the fields are scattered into two to three extract structures, so how should I work it out???
I have another question too, if I know the Technical name of a character how can i search for that in a extract structure, because in a extract structure i can only field names and the description right??? one way could be double clicking it and knowing the default name ...but is there any other option????may be a dumb question but please do help me out gurus.
    thanks

  • EJB 2.0 Spec Clarification

I quote directly from the EJB2.0 Specification:
" Clients are not allowed to make concurrent calls to a stateful session object. If a client-invoked business
method is in progress on an instance when another client-invoked call, from the same or different client,
arrives at the same instance of a stateful session bean class, the container may throw the
java.rmi.RemoteException to the second client [4] , if the client is a remote client, or the
javax.ejb.EJBException, if the client is a local client. This restriction does not apply to a state-less
session bean because the container routes each request to a different instance of the session bean
    class. "
Now the part that im confused is this:
    'If a client-invoked business
method is in progress on an instance when another client-invoked call, from the same or different client'
As far as I understand,Stateful Sessions are Client-specific,that is One instance services atmost one client. So that part about "same or different client" confused me.What does it mean? Can anyone help?
    Thanks in Advance.
    Ameya

You can look at that part of the spec as applying to the app server vendors. A little re-wording:
"If a client-invoked business method is in progress on an instance when another client-invoked call, from the same or different client", your app server must throw a java.rmi.RemoteException or javax.ejb.EJBException, depending upon whether the request is remote or local.
