Idee für Ersatz fehlender  "Dateiorbganisator" in Acrobat ?

Hallo,

Sven

    Make sure you have updated Acrobat X to the latest version 10.1.3.  They updated the PDF plug-in in 10.1.1:  http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/837/cpsid_83708/attachments/Acrobat_Reader_ReleaseNote_ 10.1.1.pdf#page=4

  • Need a driver for Acrobat Distiller 5.0.0.0 that will work on Win 7 Pro SP1 64-bit.  How can I find it?

    Need a driver for Acrobat Distiller 5.0.0.0 that will work on Win 7 Pro SP1 64-bit.  Where can I find it, and what file is it?  (Yes, it's an old Distiller that came with Acrobat 5.  So shoot me.  But I do need the driver.)
    Win 7 prompted me for an *.inf file.  Any idea?
    If I find the original Acrobat 5 CD, which .inf would it be?
    (Hey, since I'm asking, also a driver that will work on Win 8.1 Pro 64-bit.)
    Thanks.

    There is no .inf file on the Acrobat 5 CD that you can use to create a “driver.” If Distiller 5 even installs and runs on Windows 7 x64, the plumbing that came with Acrobat 5 to automatically feed PostScript files created by the PostScript driver to Distiller simply won't work with modern versions of Windows or any 64-bit version of Windows.
    FWIW, Acrobat 5 is five full versions back from the current version. And no, we won't shoot you; you are effectively doing that to yourself!  Your time must be worth something?!?!

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 pdf optimizer failure..

    We have a problem optimizing files in Acrobat Pro 9.
    When we try to optimize (Advance > PDF Optimize) the file(s) Acrobat either chrashes, or just say "an error was encountered while processing images".
    It is rather large files we have, from 50Mb to 112Mb and up to 17000 pages.
    We cant split them into smaller files.
    I can´t find anythin in the error log.
    This happends on at least 4 computers, whit diffrent settings and hardware.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

    You've likely exceeded your computers' capacity to process the necessary commands specified in the Optimizer settings chosen.
    During optimization, a temp file will be created that is approximately the same size as the file being processed. The computer must be able to handle the additional load of each page being analyzed and processed. Text is not so bad, but layered images can be murder on memory.
    There are some cases when an optimized pdf might actually end up being a larger file size than the original. Sometimes a simple Save As can dramatically reduce file size.
    What is the goal of the optimization? How are you planning to distribute the document? Is there a reason for not providing multiple files instead of one large file? If you can give a few more details, some of the folks here might be able to give some helpful ideas.
    FYI: A good article: "Understanding Acrobat's Optimizer" http://www.appligent.com/talkingpdf-understandingacrobatsoptimizer
    It doesn't answer your question, but does provide good information about making optimizer choices

    I have created a series of pdf schematics in a portfolio that revolves. For the field service techs I would like it to work on a smart phone or tablet. On the phones and tablet, they do not revolve. Any idea's? I am using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. It looks great and works as expected on my system, but the techs cannot scroll through the different prints.

    Edge has very clear restrictions, one being that you must have 6 months of clean payment history which you don't. Either wait until April 14, or good luck at Sprint.
    I am unsure how it can be determined the payment mix up was the fault of CS, but regardless, the mix up was done. There can be any number of reasons why a payment could be missed without any fault on your part, however you are still the responsible party for the account and must live with the repercussions.

  • My adobe acrobat 9 pro is not responding

    I have had Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro installed for 3 years now.  Then I got a message that I had to uninstall and reinstall which I did.  However, Adobe is not responding when I try to move around a PDF or try to print a page.  Any ideas?  Does my purchase of Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro expire?  @

    Hi Eric Hillmann,
    May i know which operating system you are using?
    Have you tried to repair the Acrobat? What exactly you are trying to do when Acrobat is not responding?

  • Installation media/download for Acrobat Standard 9.0

    I recently purchased a few licenses of Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.0, unfortunately there is no download appearing in my licensing page. It is there for others like CS4 but not for Acrobat Standard. I can never seem to get tech support over the phone so I though I would try here. Any ideas?
    I tried the trial for Acrobat Pro but it says the serial number is invalid.
    Help!

    This is correct there is a separate Acrobat 9 Standard installer.  If you choose the download option at the time of purchase then please see http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1006208?tstart=0&promoid=KBHJQ for information on how to download Acrobat 9 Standard from your account.

  • When deleting the signature using Acrobat 9.0 -server threws an exception error displays

    Hi Everyone,
    I have built an application using VC++ ,in my application i try to sign a document using Acrobat 9.0 ,it gets properly signed and when i try to remove the signature it throws an exception that " Server threws an exception" ,the same code if executed in Acrobat in 7.0 is properly working.
    The code is as below
    DISPID dispid2;
    OLECHAR *methodName2 = { L"removeField" };
    dispparam1.cArgs = 1;
    dispparam1.rgvarg = new VARIANT[ dispparam1.cArgs ];
    dispparam1.rgvarg[ 0 ].vt = VT_BSTR;
    dispparam1.rgvarg[ 0 ].bstrVal = varResult.bstrVal;
    dispparam1.cNamedArgs = 0;
    dispparam1.rgdispidNamedArgs = NULL;
    hr = jso->Invoke( dispid2, IID_NULL, GetUserDefaultLCID(),
    DISPATCH_METHOD, &dispparam1, NULL, NULL, NULL );
    here after executing this line the hr throws "Server thres an exception"
    What could be the reason please throw ur ideas.
    Regards,
    Nethaji

    While deleting manually using acrobat 9.0 we are able to deleted it. But while deleting the same through code we get the following exception
    hr = jso->Invoke( dispid2, IID_NULL, GetUserDefaultLCID(),
    DISPATCH_METHOD, &dispparam1, NULL, &exceptionInfo,
    &puArgErr );
    ExceptionInfo = "NotAllowedError: Security settings prevent access
    to this property or method."
    puArgErr = 0
    Exception id : 0x80020009
    How to give the permission to invoke this method?

  • Adobe Acrobat form can be opened in Adobe Reader but no one can fill it out. Why not?

    So I created a form for my job that my co-workers and clients need to be able to fill out. It was created in Acrobat and while others can open it in their Adobe Reader they are unable to edit any of the fields/fill the form out. Any ideas what might be causing this or what I might do to fix this?
    Thank you,
    Sara

    Hi There,
    So I found out where I'm running into the problem. The document works fine as long as I don't have a submit button included (something that is added via Acrobat) - if the submit button is removed and I save it - the document can be opened and edited in Reader. However, if it has the submit button, nothing works. Do you have any idea what would cause this disconnect between acrobat and reader? It makes no sense to have "add button" as a feature if it doesn't work outside of acrobat.
    Thanks,
    Sara

  • Form XObject not displaying in Acrobat Reader

    I've written a PDF library that from what I can tell follows the PDF Specification. However no matter how hard I try, I can't figure out why I'm not getting Form XObject with a content stream to display inside another page. There isn't really a good example in the PDF Specification, and i've been unable to locate a PDF online that uses this feature.
    The only reference I am aware of having required to the XObject is in the page's resources, where it is given a name. I then just apply a transform and then perform a Do graphics operation. Everything in the specification states that should do the job; BUT the specification never actually shows the complete use of a form, just how its created. The rest I have peiced together from using Image XObjects.
    Any ideas as to what is wrong? Acrobat displays no error messages, just an empty page.
    Here are snipets of what my library generates.:
    %form xobject
    12 0 obj

    endstream
    endobj

    Wow, thanks guys.
    Leonard, amazing. I had tried a 1 0 0 1 0 0 matrix before with no success, but changing that this time worked. I'm stumped, of course when you change alot of things at once to try to find a problem you can often overlook a fix.
    The first transform actually is ignored, now that its fixed i tried it with and without that transform; its ignored because I push and pop the stack (normally I display a test image xobject in there, but while trying to figure out this form problem I disabled the image output)
    Thanks again, I spent several days looking over the insides of countless PDFs trying to find a good example of form xobjects.

  • Forms built in Acrobat not working in Preview!?

    I've built a form in Acrobat Professional (with text fields and radio buttons) that we want to fill out with Preview. The idea is to open the pdf with Preview, fill it out and in the Print dialogue, to "mail as pdf". Then if you close the original pdf without saving changes. it remains a template you can re-use anytime you wish.
    This would all work fine except some of the text fields seem to radomly decide not to work when the pdf is opened with Preview. I've tried going back in Acrobat to delete the field and re-create another - that didn't work - same issue. I tried deleting the field, then copy and paste a field that does work in its place. Not only does that not work, it renders BOTH fields unusable!
    Any ideas?

    If the field works in Acrobat Reader but not Preview, then it's probably Preview's problem. Preview supports a subset of PDF features and an older version than the Adobe apps. From other similar questions seen in the forums, the best solution is to distribute a current, free Adobe Reader to everyone who needs to fill out the form.
    Either that or get Apple to keep Preview reasonably full-featured and up-to-date, because today it is neither, and Adobe Reader 8 is nearly as fast or faster than Preview.

  • Garbled characters appear in PDF's generated in Acrobat XI 11.0.10

    Adobe: when generating PDF's using Acrobat XI 11.0.10, garbled characters appear on complete lines on otherwise legible generated pages. Adobe Acrobat says no updates are available. Please advise what workaround(s) should be used to prevent this. The problem seems to be increasing lately.
    Platform: Windows 7.
    Steps to troubleshoot: have no idea where to start other than updating Acrobat which has already been done.

    You probably are using some strange fonts that Acrobat can not embed due to licensing and are not viewing with system fonts. Be sure all the fonts are embedded (document properties -- ctrl-D).

  • Trying to "click" on accept user agreement on Adobe Acrobat Pro, free trial.  Nothing happens.

    I have a Mac Book Air, latest update of OSX system 10.7.5.  I successfully downloaded a free trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro.  I've successfully installed it.  But when a pop up window asks to me to accept the license agreement, nothing happens even though I've pressed the button numerous times.  I've called Apple and they said this is an Adobe problem.  Adobe will only help me M-F.  As this is Saturday I was hoping someone might have an idea.

    This is a known issue with Acrobat XI
    Problem: Mac OS only. On launch, a blank EULA screen appears, which cannot be accepted, and Acrobat does not run. This problem can appear if you have any products installed from CCM or from Creative Suite, and you tried installing Acrobat XI from a different source.
    Workaround: Launch any other product which is part of the CCM or Creative suite. Then, deactivate it by choosing Help > Deactivate. Quit the application. Then, launch Acrobat and accept the EULA. Then, for the CCM subscription product, launch it and select License This Software to enable the CCM product again.If a CS application, launch it and reactivate it.
    Please refer : http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/known-issues-acrobat-xi-reader.html
    Or you can try this :
    Go to Applications->Utilities->Adobe Installers -> Adobe Acrobat X -> remove Acrobat X using the Uninstaller app.
    Relaunch Acrobat XI and try to accept EULA.
