Identification in my name needs to be in daughter's name!
When I ordered the Ipod Nano 3rd Gen (green) for my daughter's x-mas present, I, of course, used my name, and now . . . the IPOD is listed as mine, i.e. "Runbrina's Ipod" on the Ipod I need to change this to my daughter's name! She is none too happy.

I actually found the answer before i received all my replies, so I didn't have to reset the actual ipod - I did it through the itunes list like the second tip. Thanks for your help - it will probably help at a later time with some other problem! Yikes!

You don't have to take her off your account exactly: she needs to sign out from your account on her computers and devices. Then she can obtain an Apple ID at http://appleid.apple.com and use it to sign into System Preferences or Settings>iCloud.
However, there are some issue about this. If she has been syncing her calendars and contacts to your account then the data will disappear from her devices, but remain on your account. Individual calendars can be exported as .ics files and reimported into her account, but if she has her contacts mixed up with yours she will have to enter them individually in the new account (or export yours, import them into hers, and delete the ones she doesn't want.
More intractable is the email issue. She cannot move an address from your account to hers, so if she has been using a alias on your account to have her own address she cannot transfer it. She will have to create a new email address. -

My daughter is off for a college Semester Abroad - would love to talk and see each other with iChat - I have a wonderful Mac, she's stuck with her PC labtop.

So far, iChat has been a nightmare in the PC-Mac communication for us without all kinds of adjustments on both ends. We both downloaded Skype and we were seeing and talking to each other in less than 10 minutes (no kidding!). The picture quality I got was a little less than what I had on iChat, but that was my only loss. So far, everything has been great with no dropped calls, no computer adjustments, just communication. This is my suggestion for you if you want something easy. Just check the Skype site for minimum requirements for both computers.

As long as you have a legitimate serial number, you can just download a trial version of the version you need from the public Adobe site, install it and input your valid serial number upon installing it.
You will need to apply all available updates, as all downloads are of the original release.
The Extended and the Standard version of Photoshop are one and the same binary. It's your serial number that makes it Extended or Standard. -

Pls confirm if you are using Windows 2000 Pro, in this O/S the
hostname is the name of the computer itself. Check the
MyComputer->Properties->Network Identification->Properties, the name you
find under the computer name will be automatically taken while
installation, if it doesn't then there is some error. However the
C:\Winnt\System32\Drivers\Etc\hosts doesn't matter much while installing
iAS 6.0 SP1 or above. Hope this helps

Unable to deploy a Windows 8.1 image using WDS name and approve!

Hopefully some of you residing Windows 8.1/2012R2 WDS experts are able to answer this question that has been tormenting me for 3 weeks now!
I have been trying to deploy a custom Windows 8.1 image to a test VM using an answer file and WDS for a mostly unattended process (outside of selecting the image to apply).
The image and installation process actually works flawlessly if I let WDS handle all known and unknown clients. The problem comes when I try to "name and approve" the stations. All I do is enter the name and leave everything else blank
and/or at their default settings but it always fails no matter the tweaks I've been trying to apply to the answer file, UnsecureJoin true or false with the credentials and whatnot does not matter. For the sake of simplicity, I'll post the "specialize"
portion of my answer file which worked using UnsecureJoin without name and approve here:

The error I retrieved from C:\Windows\panther\setuperr.log is: "[DJOIN.EXE] Unattended Join: At least one of JoinWorkgroup/JoinDomain must be specified: 0x57". Thus, I retry with name and approve but by specifying the JoinDomain with the
%MACHINEDOMAIN% value as such:

This seems weird since WDS should already have this information which is specified in the WDS server properties. Still, I add the requested information and try again which then gives me the following error fetched from C:\Windows\debug\NetSetup.log:

Anybody else ran into this and know the fix for it?
Also, as an additional note, not sure if it is relevant, but doing only "Approve" will not work at all either as it gives me the following error when I attempt to do so: "The name provided is not a properly formed account name." despite

As far as I know, the naming standard is different between Device Identity and ADDS server naming policy, the second naming policy should be like: %61username%#

I received this item today but I'm unable to add it to my home network.I've had no trouble previously with an HP 2610, 1102W, and 7520.
On this network, a verizon DSL modem feeds a Linux firewall,which provides routing/DNS/etc. to the computers on the net via several switches and a wireless access point. Everything has a name in the form of "nicename.mynetworkname.net" and a static IPv4 address, and the firewall enforces the rules.
I've tried to tell the control panel on the new laserjet everything I can manage to feed it.
The new laserjet is connected to one of the switches by an ethernet cable. The cable connectors on the printer and the main switch show orange lights, indicating no valid ethernet connection. A printout of the Network Summary shows
Status (wired) =Ready
IPv4Address =192.168.nnn.mmm (the value I gave it manually) and an appropriate subnet mask and default gateway value.
Network Identification shows
Host Name =NPIDD2A25 (the value assigned by HP)
but the Domain Name is blank. I could not find a way to change it to mynetworkname.net.
So the printer apparently thinks it's not on the net. And computers on the net can discover the printer but can't use it.
This setup has worked fine for previous printersthat worked by ethernet. I don't see what I'm doing wrong here.

Go to wrench icon/service menu/fax service/clear saved faxes.

It is expected to receive 2 different IP on 2 interfaces on a single machine if it is connected on both wired and wireless. Built-in Parental Control feature does not require an IP address to configure - it uses the machine's hostname for identification.

You will go with modules when the XI standard adapters doesnot fullfill your requirements. You will develop modules using Netweaver Developer studio (usually) and deploy it in the J2EE engine. Once when you deployed you can use them like the standard adapters. Check the other post reply on how to create a adapter module.
Also Except for Sender SOAP adapters, you can use Modules for rest of the adapters. Check this help for further information:

I'm new to struts, please be patient with me!!
I have a series of JSP pages with forms, when I submit a form, I store the contents to the database & take the user to the next page, if its an update action, I need to populate the forms on load.
The storing part & populating parts are working fine (using ActionForm) BUT the page transitions are not working. I mean, after storing to the database I send a "success" message & my next page is not getting loaded. I'm geting this error "Cannot find bean under name projectOverviewForm" (2nd form name).

Probable Cause: This is usually seen in association with a problematic Struts HTML SELECT custom tag. The Struts html:select tag behaves differently depending whether one or both of the name and property attributes is specified for its encompassed <html:options> tags. If the name attribute is specified, whether or not if the property attribute is specified, then a bean matching the specified name will be expected in some scope (such as page, request, session, or application). If the matching bean is not found in any available scope, the error above will be seen.
There are two ways to address this. The first approach is to put a bean in one of the scopes so that the html:options might be associated with it. The second approach is to not specify the name attribute and instead use only the property attribute.
Change your Frombean scope from "Request" to "Session", then it works.

E71 - Incoming name of callers not displaying
I transfered all of mobile numbers via nokia pc onto my new E71. Most of the numbers are on the phone memory as the sim card can take only a limited amount. However when I receive an incoming call from a number which is stored on the phone memory only the number appears on screen - not the name! Can anyone solve this problem? thanks

I have the same problem you just described. However, I followed the suggested actions marked as solution and the problem hasn´t been fixed at all.
Although the suggestions make sense, they didn´t help me to remove the bug. First of all, I am sure my phone service provider is sending me the caller ID. I called them to confirm that. Also, when I install my Sim in another pophne, it works ok.
Later, I deleted ALL the contacts from my Sim AND the phone and I created just one. Then, I had my friend to call me and the phone didn´t showed his name on screen. Since there´s just ONE contact on the phone and NONE in the Sim, there´s no chance I had dups, however, it didn´t work. I thought maybe I can store my friend´s info in the Sim and delete it from the phone but I had no luck either. Also, I need to clarify that I run some tests using my friend´s number and later I added the full number (+ for international, including the country code 506 for Costa Rica) and I had no luck either. One more thing! I installed some caller ID programs and all of them shows ¨"Private call¨instead of the contact name (and I am SURE they are not private numbers!).
It´s funny that when I connect the phone to my computer, the Nokia PC Suite identifies the contact name in the log lists but the phone cannot do it (No number).
Finally, when I receive text messages, the phone is capable of identifying the contact from my list but it cannot do it for incoming calls.
I had spent a lot of time reading and researching at the Internet regarding this situation. At this point, I am convinced that this is indeed a BUG in the phone´s firmware. However, I am open to new suggestions, so I´ll appreciate if someone can post a new suggestion to try it.
Also, I´d like to know if the person from Costa Rica in the previews message had luck with this issue. I have the same firmware version (American one) and we share the same provider.
