Identification of Status

Hi Gurus
Thare are so many business transactions availble for status profile in BS02.
How to identify which staatus is activated by any business transactions.

Hi,
This you can see in the production order. In the production order, system status is there, based on the business transactions, automatically the system status will be updated. Example, whem you release the production order, the system will show as REL, after goods issue, it will add the GMPS status, after confirmation CNF, after Goods receipt DLV like this.

• Automatic Payment Transactions

Hi Gurus,
We have created a proposal in F110 but when we tried to execute the payment run, status field said that 'Payment Run has been cancelled'. Kindly advise why we have this error and how to reprocess it.
Thanks,
Ellicec

Dear Ellicec
First mind the Vendor/Customer Number in selected Proposal than
Go to F110-Pres F4 on Identification check Status of Identification which Not yet posted Completely(Payment run has been carried out,Parameters have been entered,Payment proposal has been created)
Check one by one If Vendor /Customer is Matching with Current Proposal Delete Proposal run.
Delete Proposal--Go to Edit -Payment-Delete out put than again go to Edit-Proposal-Delete.
After that Created New proposal and run .

• Payment run not able to delete.

Dear Sir,
In F110 identification 3012
Status
Parameters have been entered
Payment proposal has been created
Payment run could not be carried out
So Now when I am trying to delete the payments run from the menu path, it is givig error
"You ar enot authorized to use this function for vendors"
Message no. F0062
There is one more incomplete identification 3010 having same staus and having same vendors, so I tried to delete that but getting same errors.
Please suggest me what I have to do in this regard? in there any program there by which I can find the identification in SE38.
Abhisek

Hi Abhishek
As per the system message, system didn't carried out the payment run. it means, you cannot delete the payment also, cause, it is not at all created by the system.
first point is, your payment proposal may not be correct hence payment nun also not carried out.
As you mentioned, same vendor is used in previous identification, SAP system do not permit to use one venodr at multiple payment proposals at a time. Either you complete the payment run or delete the payment proposal.
At above case, first you check, whether system is considering the vendor for payment or not. if your proposal is correct and giviing all results, then payment run will also go correctly.
your vendor is blocked at first payment proposasl which you created previously, delete that first and you can use in a new payment propsal/run
Please try this..

• How states BPEL and MEDIATOR are generated?

Hi All,
we know that the execution of Mediator are BPEL could generate many different kind of states.
Here is a list of the possibile states:
https://blogs.oracle.com/ateamsoab2b/entry/list_of_all_states_from
But does anyone knows what are the patterns that will generate these states?
For example we have seen that using a terminate in a BPEL process generate the state STATE_CLOSED_ABORTED.
Or using a Throw and a Reply to raise a fault generated the state STATE_CLOSED_ROLLED_BACK.
We need the logic to understand how every state is generated, and we cannot develop all the prototype to understand this.
Is there some documentation about these states?
Thanks a lot to everyone that could help me.

• Service Desk Settings, Automatic Email at status change of messages

Hello experts,
I need your help about this:
I am configuring Service Desk Specific Scenario Settings -> Automatic Email at status change.
I made the configuration suggested as described SAP Note 691303. Also I configured the status profile SLFN0001 in transaction DNO_CUST01, and the Action profile SLFN0001_STANDARD, both for the SLF1 (Service basis message), but still when we change the status of messages, the email is not generated in SCOT, overview of send orders.
I want to clarify that the configuration made for the action of send email was in transsaction SPPFCADM, selected DNO_NOTIF, and push Define Action Profile and Actions, then selected the Action profile SLFN0001_STANDARD for making he ocnfiguration as suggested in note 691303.
SCOT is correctly configured and working OK.
Business partners emails are mantained too.
Thank you very much.
Hector Longarte

Hello. Thanks to all of you for your comments. I am answering to your questions below:
Have you assign proper partner function to every status in action?
I do not know where can I make this assigment. I am thinking that this may be the cause. Please I kindly ask you to give me orientation about this.
Have you defined condition for defined action?
Yes, the condition was defined thru SPPFCADM. Now, I wonder if this must be configured for CRM_ORDER application as described in note 691303, or for DNO_NOTIF ??
Have you maintained user deatils on identification tab in BP?
Yes, the Business partners and emails adresses were correctly mantained.
The configuration we are talking about and you want to change, is it regarding SLFN (Service Desk Messages) or SLF1 (Basis Service Message)?
I supose that for Service desk messages we must configure SLFN, and not SLF1. Right?
In DNO_CUST01, we have SLF1. We have not made any configuration in DNO_CUST04, it is still as original standard. Please let me know if we are right.
You want to send an aut. email notification when status of SLF1 changes?
We want to send email notifications to the message creator about the status change of service desk messages.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
Hector Longarte.

• Manage-bde Status states "Protection Status: Protection Off"

My question is: Why are so many machines in this state, and is it safe for me to just run the "manage-bde -on c: -cn AAAAAA" on them or could it cause problems?

I mean to say, it's the MBAM agent who sends information to the MBAM Server about the recovery keys and TPM information. So when you are using manage-bde commands for encryption, the recovery keys will not get stored to the MBAM DBs.
What you need to do is to start the encryption with manage-bde and then at the next client wake up frequency which you have set in your environment, MBAM Agent will send the recovery information to the MBAM web servers an dthen the recovery keys will be
stored to the MBAM DBs.
But in this case also, TPM ownership information will not get stored to the MBAM DBs. For that you need to run a script if you have saved the TPM information in Active Directory. I have posted the script on Technet Gallery.
Let me know if you have any more issues.

• What is the use of Withholding tax identification number field?

Hello SAP Experts,
I posted this question earlier but had to close because of no replies from anybody. Posting it again to see if I am lucky to get some answer this time.
Can someone tell what is the use of field Withholding Tax Identification Number? Does it help with the reporting? Where does it get populated on the report if given at vendor or master record or within the withholding tax customization for company code? What is the difference between creating it in the customization for withholding tax information for company code and vendor/customer master record?
As per SAP: Withholding tax identification number
This is a number issued by the tax authorities per withholding tax type.
This number must be specified in Customizing either:
(a) As part of the withholding tax information defined for the company code, or
(b) As part of the withholding tax information defined in the customer or vendor master record.

Hi Pete,
The only thing that I could check is the content used in US:
See content of this field for US:
LFA1-STCD1 Social security number
LFA1-STCD2 Employer identification number
LFBW-WT_WTSTCD Withholding tax identification number for WT Type
In order to populate it, please kindly check the following:
The reason why you cannot fill in the field WT_WTSTCD in transaction
Fk02 however you can do it in XK02 (Change vendor centrally) can be due
to wrong customizing of the field status group.
Kindly check the following:
SPRO->
Finantial accounting -> Accounts receivable and accounts payable ->
Define screen layout per activity (vendors) -> Change Vendor(Accounting)
Company code data -> W/holding tax data, w/h tax 2 ->
FIELD Withholding tax code,w/h tax 2 will be probably just available to
display. Please, change it to optional entry.
I hope I could be of assistance.
Kind Regards,
Fernando Evangelista

• RAID failed - Can't find status in disk utility

I have an Xserve G5 with 3 hitachi 80GB SATA hard drives with a RAID 5 (I think) running 10.4.6. A couple of days ago, the server was running really slow and the afp was taking up alot of cpu time, so we rebooted the server as we haven't had a problem with afp before. However, the server would no longer boot up and the RAID alarm started going off. Now when booting the server I get the apple screen and after a couple of minutes, the server's fan would start going faster and faster until they would be going full blast. So I tried to check the status using disk utility of the RAID, but I can't see any status. I admit that I have only been working with the xserve for almost a year and I don't know alot, but all I see on the left of the disk utility is xserve megaraid and below that Server HD. I checked both of these and clicked on all of the tabs (first aid, RAID, partition, restore, etc), but I can't find a place to check the status of the RAID. All I can find about RAID is how to create another one. I finally found that I can run megaraid -showstatus and it said that the first hard drive failed and the other 2 were online. I also took out the hard drive and ran hitachi's test drive software using the advanced test and it said everything was fine. So I'm not sure if there is just something wrong with the RAID or what.
I did order another hard drive that is exactly the same and it should be here in a couple of days. I also know that this is the hard drive that was accidentally ejected while the server was running before, but when the hard drive was put back in, the RAID rebuilt it and has been running fine till now. I am pretty sure that I shut the server off before when the hard drive got ejected and it would boot, so I'm just not sure exactly what this all means as the Hitachi software tells me there is nothing wrong with the drive.
Help please

I checked the status of the server and hard drive by booting off of the 10.4 installation disk, select utilities and disk utility.
I know very little about terminal, however I'm pretty good at dos so I can figure some things out if given some commands.
Anyway, I ran some commands and here are the results:
megaraid -showstatus
MEGARAID CLI version 1.0.12
No cmd argument
Um, so I think I remebered the command incorrectly and I did -showdevices instead. Sorry.

• To modify a field in a database table based record identification by primar

hi
i want to to modify a field in a database table based record identification by primary key filed and two more fields
ie customer (primary key
i want to modify record from intenal table the record existing with primary key field customer
the status field needs to be mofied as " value rolled"
the below code is happening
loop at it_record into wa_Record
wa_inv-customer (primary key) = wa_Record=custome
wa_inv-date = wa_Record-date
...so one
append wa_inv to it_invest
clear wa_inv
endloop.
if not it_invest is initial
modify TABle1 ( this table is data base table which needs to be mofified) based on the primary key field
and also date field and status field which is not primary key.
regards
arora

Hi there.
Your requirement is to update a Z Database table from your internal table, right? You have several options:
LOOP AT it_invest INTO wa_inv.
UPDATE dbtable
SET date = wa_inv-date
WHERE prim_key = wa_inv-prim_key
AND any_field = wa_inv-any_field.
ENDLOOP.
or
LOOP AT it_invest INTO wa_inv.
UPDATE dbtable FROM wa_inv. "if wa_inv of same type of dbtable
ENDLOOP.
In the first example, I wrote any field because you can update dbase table, filtering for fields that don't belong to the primary key. However, remember that you will change all records that respect the key you used (so, in your case, use the primary key).
Regards.

• Transaction F110 - Possible to restrict the input of Identification-field?

Hello all,
is it possible to restrict the input of the "Identification"-field in transaction F110 (Automatic Payment Transactions: Status)?
e.g.: User X with company code XX is only allowed to enter XX01 in the identification field.
User Y with company code YY is only allowed to enter YY01...
Is that possible?
Thanks in advance for any reply!

Hi
You can control the "identification" with the help of the BASIS guy.
They will define the authorization object to field level.
Create seperate roles for that and assign accordingly

• F110 Payment run stopped, status Payment run has been carried out.

Hi experts,
I have searched in this forum but didn't find suitable scenario.
I have run automatic payment after the proposal created.
Somehow the payment run status stopped at "Payment run has been carried out".
Then I check the payment run log:
Job started
Step 001 started (program SAPF110S, variant &0000000007737, user name xxxxxx)
Log for payment run for payment on xx.xx.2009, identification XXxxx
System error occurred during blocking attempt; payment run stopped
... the execution of the payment program is terminated
End of log
Job finished
I thought no accounting document has been posted.
Is it the right way if I re-run the program SAPF110S with its variant?
What is the possible impact.
Kindly advise.
regards,
rob

Hi,
Yes there might be no accounting document has been posted because even though the payment run has been carried out but parameters you have mentioned might not been selected because of many reasons.
Please go to EDIT - Payment -
Payment list and exception list.......
Please check if any entry is there in payment list if it is than some doc has been posted.
Rest will go to EXCEPTION list.... will show you the exact errors.
Please check the same in the proposal run first... it seems that PROPOSAL run in not only correct.
See the error and correct it.

Hi Ramesh,
The material is having the Packing ( Handling Units).
In delivery please do the Packing for the Materials because they have linked with the Handling Units. and Also check the wheather the Handling Units are configured properly.
For your Information please go through the Below which will help you further.
The SAP Handling Unit Management system allows you to manage the entire movement of the handling units and the materials they contain rather than tracking each material individually.
This paper is for the HUM Delivery although some of the contents is related to Inventory under the Logistics General modules.

Appendix D: How to do Automatic Packing?
Appendix E: How to do Goods Movement for Handling Unit Material?
Appendix F: How to Unpack the Handling Unit Material?
A handling unit is a physical unit that consists of the packaging materials (load carrier / packaging material) and the goods contained therein. A handling unit is always a combination of materials and packaging materials. All the information contained in the material items, such as batches and serial numbers, is always available by way of the handling units.
Handling units can be nested, meaning that you can also create new handling units from several handling units as often as you like.
Handling units have unique, scannable identification numbers that can be formed according to standards such as EAN 128 or SSCC.
Figure 1: Handling unit example
Structure
The handling unit object contains the following attributes:
• Identification number
• Dimensions
• Weight
• Volume
• Status
• Materials and quantities
• Packaging materials
• Packing instructions
A handling unit consists of a handling unit header and handling unit items. For identification purposes, it is given a unique number.
Handling unit header
The header data of a handling unit is divided in the following way:
• Weight/Volume/Dimensions
• General data
• Means-of-transport data
• Additional data
• Output determination procedure
For more information about each of these detailed points, see Editing detailed data for handling units.
Status
The handling unit is linked to general status management. In this way, the various physical states (planned or implemented) and other attributes (weighed, loaded, blocked or posted goods issue) of handling units can be documented.
You can use the HU_ST_INIT user parameter when you create handling units without object reference to set which initial status the handling unit is to have when it is created.
If you want to implement a status of your own, you can define a user-specific procedure for the packaging material type (see also Define Packaging Material Types).
Handling unit item
The items of a handling unit can consist of material items, packaging materials or other handling units that appear in an overview. For more information about this overview, see the Contents section of Editing detailed data for handling units.
To access the item data of an individual handling unit, select the handling unit concerned and choose Goto  Detailed HU data  Contents.
Integration
Handling units can be used in all processes within the supply chain.
