Identifying Which board I have & which drivers I need to download?

Hi, rebuilding my system. Lost the original cd driver disk that came with the MB.
Im having a really hard time identifying exactly which MB I have? (I've surfed through stickies FAQ, cant find the 'how to' on this if there is one)
Can someone tell me:
1. How to determine exactly which MB I have
2. How to determine what chipsets I have so I can download correct drivers. (VGA, AUDIO ETC>>> ETC>>>>
The LAN one was easy, got that one.

I have about 512MB RAM. 333MHZ
On board Audio, and video (however I installed a radeon agp card - using that instead. The board has on board Promise Raid controller however I don't use it. I only use 1 SATA HD.
Also has onboard 1394, LAN
Basically the works.
I'll go downstairs and look for the serial #. Ive looked for the model name before and could not find it.

What DVDs are this ?
If it is OSX Snow Leopard Installation DVD then yes this disc contains the BootCamp Drivers version 3.x and is needed after the installation of Windows to install the BootCamp Drivers.
With OSX Lion BootCamp is at version 4.x and the BootCamp Drivers have to be downloaded during use of the BootCamp Assistant in OSX.

There is an Apple USB super drive you can buy or any Mac compatible external DVD player.
Sorry to have nagged at you but you can now see why I couldn't answer your question from the start. I had no way of knowing there was no slot in the model you have.

You can download it only once (as it's a 4.5GB file and does take some time to download) but after the download is complete, quit the installer and look in your Applications folder for a file named "Install OS Mountain Lion.app". Make a copy of this file to put on your other computer or, as Linc suggests, make a bootable ML install drive to use on your other computer.
Just make sure that you don't install after the file first downloads - you'll need that file for your other machine.

PSE 9 Updates - How do I find out which ones I have and which ones I need to download?

I'm accustomed to being notified of updates automatically, which means I forget to check for the ones that don't send notifications (PSE 9). I looked through the list of updates, but don't know where to start because I don't know which ones have already been installed. They appear to be separate patches so I'm assuming (incorrectly perhaps) that downloading the most recent one won't include the previous patches. I'm not a technically savvy person so I don't like to jump into these things without some idea of where I am or should be going. I have a "Murphy's Law" problem - anything that can go wrong usually does in my experience.

If you download the most recent ones, it doesn't matter if you've missed any previous ones.

I have 3 drivers that need updating wondering if I should update.

I still have vista and have never added this driver updates listed below. Would adding them now cause problems to my laptop. I seems to be running hard and a recent scan from microsoft mentioned that my hard drive was unstable. I don't want to take a chance and cause my pc to crash. Thank you.

Your bigger problem is the "unstable" hard drive. That must be addressed before you do anything else. Can you tell us the exact meassage? You should run the hard drive test in the BIOS, not the microsoft test.

You can try downloading the mac trial version and entering your serial number, but it probably won't work since download serial numbers are single-platform. If it fails, you will need to contact adobe and ask about a crossgrade (assuming you are willing to give up the windows version.)

When I have an Issue and need a download to fix it why does it only download to 99% this is my 1st time w/FF Its any download!

Like Say ,I had a Low memory issue /so went and bought an external hard drive/now that helped w/storage but when I need to download a /like FF I just started up and it like anything else only goes to 99% /like its missing something...and I dont know if it downloaded the full program u [email protected].FF is not affected It could be something with my computer I just need to know so I know what to do!!!

It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox. 
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

I just upgraded my T61 laptop to Windows 7 Professional. The system now informs me that I need to update three drivers: Base System Device, Base System Device and PCI Memory Controller. Nothing like that is listed on the Lenovo Driver Download page. Can someone please tell me which drivers I need to download to make my T61 operate properly in Win7?

These sound like device drivers for your ThinkPad's system board. The easiest way to get them installed—along with any other missing ThinkPad-specific drivers and software—would be to install Lenovo's ThinkVantage System Update program, which will examine the ThinkPad and automatically download anything that's missing.

Looking at another forum post regarding that model, it indicated that your model has an Atheros wireless/bluetooth card.
So, you would need to install these wireless and bluetooth drivers...

Which intermedia i need?

I have installed ORACLE 9I DATABASE on Windows 2000 server. I want to use Oracle Text Manager but it requires Oracle Intermedia to be installed first.
I searched Oracle.com for downloading Oracle Intermedia but I donot know that which one I need to download? because there is a long list.

Intermedia (on the database side)is included with your 9i database distribution. Use Oracle Inataller to add it.
