Identifying which library you are in

HI All
I run two libraries on my windows 7 pc, all was well with this until Apple upgraded..yuk! In the old, and Oh so much better, version of itunes you could see which library you were working in as its name was at the top of the screen. Not anymore. Other than gonig through content and playlists is there any other way of showing which library I am working in.
All help is greatly appreciated.

To verify which library you have opened, you can use this information to open the specific library you want.

Steps to create or choose a different iTunes Library file
If iTunes is running, quit iTunes.
If you are using Windows, hold down the Shift key and from the Start menu and choose All Programs > iTunes > iTunes.
If you are using the Mac, open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option key.
You should see one of the following screens:
Additional information
If you do not see one of the screens above, then you did not hold the correct key at the correct time. You may want to try again. Note that if you pinned iTunes to the Start menu programs, and open it that way, it may not work.

Hi Pooja,
Go to characteristic relationship tab,click on detail icon on extreme left of the derivation,there you will get the name and the details of function module used for derivation.

Bookmarks - Hate the firefox version. Double click on the site to bookmark and the book it too small. And when in the bookmark window on the right side of the screen there is no way to know which folder you are actually in. Help.

And when in the bookmark window and have bookmarks on the right side of the screen there is no way to know which folder on the left you are actually in. I have sort of the exact same problem. Extremely far away from user friendly
I have an second issue as well: When I hook off all-day it comes up with an 8 hour event!
And then if I put in a late start hour it pushes end time to next day due to the 8 hour event suggestion.
All in all this gives a lot of changes just to enter an event.

I learnt from your input to use this fuction. At least that comes up with a one hour event as default.

How to identify which application users are connected to in an rdp session

so we have an rdp gateway with couple of servers acting as brokers. users connect to the RD web access site and see a list of applications. usually these applications are the same but with different parameters like (done through the RemoteApp manager)
app1: C:\Program Files\app.exe arg: C:\appdata\group1\file
app2: C:\Program Files\app.exe arg: C:\appdata\group2\file
i'm trying to find a way to tell which app the users are connecting to at a point with no luck, any help will be appreciated

From your description I can understand that you want the user name with app they have in their session.
You can achieve with below command.
Query process User name
Displays information about processes running on a terminal server. You can use this command to find out which programs a specific user is running, and also which users are running a specific program.

How can you tell which cabinet you are connected t...

As the title says, how can you tell once installed.
the reason i ask is where i live there is only the bt-pcp and the drl-fttc cabinet and no others.
from what i heard is that both BT and DRL occupy the same fttc cabinet, and this would suggest so based on other information received.
yet from other information i'm hearing is that they don't and we're probably wired all the way back to the exchange which i would have thought was a bit odd seeing with 3 miles from exchange (as the crow flies).
so is it possible that they use the same cabs?

yeh am on infinity now and so far working fine
had one disconnection but thing that was caused by outage as took router a few attempts to re-connect, but other than that my pppoe has only dropped when made a change on router which required it to restart.
now been connected for 8 days without dropping (usually dropped every weekend when on DR) so continuing to monitor.
the engineer advised was connected via the cabinet in street, but only cabinets are the bt-pcp and the dr-fttc cabinets, and AFAIK BT and DR share the cabinet from what I've been previously told, but then someone else has said they won't do that and the connection is probably one that is underground if there is no bt-pcp.
i'll send Dean a message just so i know for future as i know the bt-pcp cabinet my number is connected too.

How to show which step you are on in a train?

I am trying to use the train and train model to create a wizard. Now the requirement is to show to the users information such as "Step 1 of 5" where there are 5 steps. Clicking on next should update the text automatically to show the correct step number.
Can somebody please tell me how to achieve this?

I bought a brand new Samsung Galaxy S4 for my daughter exactly one year ago this week from the AT&T store, and I have it covered under mobility insurance. Within the first month of having it, you could not hear her on phone calls. We called AT&T, were told to send it in and we received another. Ten months later, this second phone would not keep a charge. I called AT& T again, and was told to send it in. I was never told this was the “warranty” department, not the “insurance” department. I have never been told there is a difference. I received a third phone two weeks ago. This past Saturday, I received her old phone back in the mail, with a note that it is “damaged”, although there is no damage to the phone that the blind eye can see, and that they are charging me $469 for the third phone. This is on top of the $500 I paid for the new phone last year. I called AT&T to find out why I was being charged for the phone, because first of all there is no damage that I can see, and second of all, I have insurance. There was a red arrow sticker on the second phone pointing to the charging receptacle, but you would have to have a telescope to see in there! Apparently that is where the damage is. I explained that I cannot see any damage, but regardless, the insurance should cover it (which is $199 for the deductible). I was told that you have to “make a choice” before you call warranty, because if it is damaged in any way, you have to pay the full price for the phone, as they do not call the insurance department, which is a separate department. This is insane!! I asked how in the world was I to determine that something inside the phone was wrong that is not covered under warranty? How was I to know that you have to make a choice, either hope that it is covered under warranty and get a replacement or pay $469, or call insurance and get stuck with $199 bill when it could be covered for free under warranty? I again was told that if you choose warranty, then you cannot come back and choose insurance, and that I am just stuck with the $469 bill, even though they “understand” that I could not see any damage. This is completely wrong and unethical. I will not be keeping AT&T as my cellphone network provider.

Which Library am I currently in?

If I option+launch iTunes, I can choose from whatever libraries I've created, or choose "New" to create a new one. If I quit iTunes, then relaunch (without option key), iTunes opens the last library I had open. Okay so far, BUT: If I'm in iTunes, and can't remember which library was chosen, and some of my libraries look very similar, how can I tell which library I'm in?
I know I could quit, then option+launch to choose one. Going to Preferences > General just shows the last library name I picked, which may or may not be the library currently loaded.
I'm either very confused about setting up and managing libraries, or I'm missing something obvious.
Also, is there any way to link preferences to specific libraries? If I'm in Library A, for instance, I'd not want to use the same preferences I'd use for Library B (import settings, default Music folder, for example).

You've made some very good points on how itunes could better manage multiple libraries!
As far as I know, there is no way within itunes to show which library you are in.
If you are actively playing music, the ITL gets updated after every song finishes. So you can go into Windows Explorer and look at Date Modified to see which one has the most recent time stamp.
Really, how difficult would it be to display the library on the top line?
Like you, I've also found it frustrating that the preferences are tied to the entire PC user account, and not the specific library.

As identify why the calls are been abandoned

Hi Guys,
My Customer have the solution with UCCX 8.0(2) and CUCM 8.6 (2). The Contact Center is presenting any call abandoned. I know that this can be related the:
1. For ICD calls, a call is abandoned if it is not answered by an agent and the caller hangs up or is disconnected.
2. Abandon call with an Agent Name - Means an Agent was selected, but before they could answer, the caller hung up.
3. For IVR calls, a call is abandoned if it does not get past the workflow step that sets the handled flag.
My question is: What parameters in RTMT (UCCX and CUCM) I have that set to identify the reason this calls abandoned?

Which library do you want Aperture to use?

I always get the question "Which library do you want Aperture to use?" when I start Aperture.
Switch to Library only shows libraries I've used since I started Aperture. The list is empty if I restart Aperture.
Why?
I have re-installed Aperture, verified disks and permissions, repaired and rebuilt libraries, but nothing has helped so far.

Not too sure what is causing this for you, however here is a work around.
Place your library in the dock and rather than launching Aperture via the Ap icon, click on the library icon, this additionally has the benefit of making it easy to choose which library you would like to open.
Some more questions for you;
1. Are you logged in to your Mac with an administrator account?
2. Is Aperture sitting at the top level of the Applications directory?
3. Get info on your System and library drives, in sharing and permissions do you have read and write privileges?
4. Where is your library located, is it outside the "Users" folder structure? Aperture defaults to placing it within the picture folder for a user, this folder will not be available with full privileges to all users.

Can you identify which of your iOS Apps are free?

I have a few hundred apps now in my iTunes library, and would like to identify which ones are free vs which ones cost money.
Both my iPhone and my wife's are currently tied to the same iTunes account. I want to create a new acount for her, but don't want her to lose all the purchased apps she uses.
For music/movies/tv shows, I know I can authorize play on her new machine, but I don't believe you can for the apps...or at least she won't be able to download updates for them without logging out and logging into the old account.
Any ideas?

I repeatedly receive an error message when trying to sync my ipod touch with my itunes library with my new computer which reads, "Some of the items in the itunes library were not copied to the ipod because you are not authorized on this computer." However when I try and authorize my computer I always receive the message that this computer is authorized. What am I doing wrong? I'm missing about 100 songs as a result of this error!!

Cannot repair Aperture Library, "which library do you want to use"

When I open Aperture and hold down the option key I keep getting prompted for "which library do you want to use"
and it lists my current library and two backup with a , .BAK extension on two different disks.
So I cannot get to the repair options, I only get "which library do you want to use".
How can I get to the repair options?

You need to press the key combination options-command to launch into the Library First Aid Tools:
Hold down the options key ⌥ and the command key ⌘ at the same time, while launching Aperture. And keep the keys held down firmly, until you are seeing the Library First Aid panel. Then select "Repair Library" from the panel.
If you only hold down the options key ⌥, you will launch into the Library chooser panel to switch between libraries.
What is the reason, that you need to repair the Aperture library?
