Hello gurus
We are in the planning phase of Seeburger PGP module implementation.
While going through the manuals provided with the installation, one of the steps involves creation of a new role and assignment of action manage of application com.seeburger.xi.frontend.keycenter* .
However, while going through the list of available actions under identity management, I could not find any such application.
Also when I select Key Center tab in the Seeburger workbench, I get the error "The requested resource doesnot exist".
We are using SAP PI 7.1 EHP 1 SPS 0004 and version 2.1.5 of Seeburger.
Please help.
P.S : I have not yet deployed SeePGPModulePI.sca. Is it because of that?
Regards,
XineohpiHello,
from my point of view, this makes absolute sense... if the application is not deployed, then of course it can also not be configured.
Kind Regards

ANT missing from 11.1.7 software to provision Identity Management for FA
I am provisioning Identity Management for Fusion Applications 11.1.7 version and one of to provision identity management using runIDMProvisioning.sh is to set ANT_HOME but there is no ANT in REPOSITORY (downloaded files), is this part of any zip that I need to unzip ?
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E36909_01/fusionapps.1111/e21032/prov_idm.htm#CHDDJFFJHello onlineAppsDBA.com:
The focus of this forum and the team moderating it (the Developer Relations team) is on development issues, not install questions. That said, I'll try to find answer for you. But you might also want to submit a service request with Oracle Support for this issue.
Thanks,

Upgrading sun identity manager 7.1.1 to 8.1
hi all,
I am Upgrading sun identity manager 7.1.1 to 8.1 and ran the DB script upgradeto81from71.oracle. It takes a long time and eventually hangs on this statement:
CREATE INDEX repo1.userobj_repomod ON repo1.userobj(repomod);
We have large number of users around 30,000 but it should still not hang....
Any thoughts?
I am using Oracle 10g client and database is Oracle 11.2.0.2.0
thanks a lot!
vikHi,
I did not have any issues when I did the upgrade but we also did not change the script from waveset to repo1.
In changing the script did you miss any of changes from waveset to repo1
By the way we have about 90,000 users so I do not think the number of users is the issue. The database version we use is 10g -
Installation in VMware Oracle Identity Manager (9.1.0.0)
Hello everyone,
I'm quite unfamiliar with the Oracle products but I try to install the Identity Suite by following the available documation. Unfortunately there are some special points they missed but I already find them out in this forum. But now I'm despairing at one step in the OIM installation.
When I have to provide the OC4J connection settings I got everytime the error message that the OAS hasn't found in the specified path. For my understanding this path and the path to the jdk is provided in the step before and I could pass the step, so the path I provided must be wright.
Have anyone some hints how I can check the existing installation?
Here some further information from my installation:
OS: Windows 2003 SP2
OAS: Oracle Identity Management Infrastructure and Oracle Identity Federation (windows_x86_oim_oif_101401)
OC4J: self created, may be incomplete
If further informations are important to narrow down the problem please ask for.
Thanks in advance :)
Edited by: user10182133 on 26.08.2008 01:49You need OAS 10.1.3.3 for OIM 9.1. Download SOA suite from http://download.oracle.com/otn/linux/ias/101310/soa_linux_x86_101310_disk1.cpio. Install it and apply the metalink note Note:553266.1 to upgrade to 10.1.3.3. Then create your own oc4j instance following OIM 9.1 installation manuals

! Java.lang.NullPointerException
Tjenesten er nede (Service is Down)

What's wrong?
Appreciate some help
Regards Günther SchnellI too encountered this error. After taking a look at the default trace file I observed the following error:
Error#1#/System/Database/sql/jdbc/direct#Java#com.sap.sql_0003##SQL error occurred on connection CLKLABVM3
IDM:mxmc_db:dbo: code=207, state="S0001", message="Invalid column name 'recoverpwdfailtask'."; SQL statement is "select is_id,resultsize, workflowrepository,enablepwdprovisioning,PwdUseDictionary,ChkPwdHistory,wfWelcomeFieldHeader,wFwelcomeFieldFooter, recoverpwdtask, recoverpwdfailtask,authqminvalues,authqalternateattr,authqalternateboth,authqalgorithm,authqpar1,authqpar2,authqpar3,authqgetpwdmethod,authqaddpwdtoume, maxloginattempts,authqStep1,authqStep2,authqStep3,authqStep4 from mxi_idstores where is_id=?".
In order to resolve this, I had to apply the latest update (ICDESIGNTIME01_0-10007480) for the IDM design time. The update will add the missing column tot he table structure.
As per the instructions, ensure that you make a backup of your database before applying the patch. -
Error when installing Oracle Identity Manager
Hello,
I'm having a problem when trying to install Oracle Identity Manager. I am trying it now for consecutive two days and it is always the same problem.
I read this thread:
Problem installing Oracle Identity Manager Server (but still have no clue what to do).
I'm installing it in a virtual lab environment (Windows Server 2008 on WMware).
It is a fresh install.
Installing scenario:_
*1.* Oracle Database 10g (10.2.0.3)
*2.* Toad DBA Suite for Oracle
*3.* Oracle Weblogic Server 11g R1
*4.* Oracle Identity Manager v9.1.0.1
*5.*
Then i create a new Oracle database instance for Oracle Identity Manager as described here:
http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32386_01/generic.902/b32140/database.htm
*6.*
Then i prepare the DB for Oracle Identity Manager by running:
prepare_xl_db.bat XELL C:\Oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1 xelsysadm password123 xeltbs C:\Oracle\product\10.2.0\oradata xeltbs_01 TEMP password123
as described here (Preparing the Database on Windows):
http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32386_01/generic.902/b32140/database.htm
*7.*
I get no errors after running the script has finished
*8.*
Then i run Oracle Identity Manager v9.1.0.1\OIM9101\installServer\setup_server.exe
*9.*
I go throw the steps and after installing the following error pop ups:
Following Error occurred during schema creation connected*
Error encountered while loading database script*
+...\Oracle Identity Manager v9.1.0.1\OIM9101\installServer\Xellerate/db/oracle/xell.sql+
Contact your DBAORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PLS-00905: object SYSTEM.PIN_OBJ is invalid ORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PL/SQL: Statement ignored [10/7/09 12:18 PM]*
*10.*
Then i click next and this message pop ups:
Oracle Identity Manager Installer has found that SetDBKey.bat failed.*
*11.*
Then the setup ends/aborts
Does anybody have any idea what this error is about and how to work around?
I would really appreciated it. I am getting desperate, because i don't know what i am doing wrong. Thank you very much in advance!daniel/maki,

2. Installed Oracle Database 10g and created database idmda2
3. Prepared Database for OIM

I get no errors after running the script has finished
4. Deployed the application XIMDD on OAS
verified for prerequisities

Unable to log-in in Oracle Identity Manager Design Console
Hello,
I successfully installed OIM9.1.0.1 Identity Manager on Jboss4.2.3.GA App server and could login to OIM using http://llocalhost:8080/xlWebApp on my window Server 2003 system without any problem.
Then I installed the Design Console on my window XP system. However, after successfully installing the Design Console, I could not login using the xelsysadm user ID.
I checked to make sure that xlconfig.xml contains the right URL file under oim_designConsole directories.
The error I get from the Design Console login window is:
Internal Login
Oracle Identity Manager Design Console Could not log you in.
In the dos-command window, I got the error:

DhirendravBackup the original file log4j-1.2.8.jar in oimclient/xlclient/ext
copy the log4j.jar from JBOSS folder - JBOSS/server/default
Paste the file in client folder with original log4j-1.2.8.jar
Rename log4j.jar file to log4j-1.2.8.jar
start ur JBOSS.. this shd work. -
Confusion with a current state of Oracle Identity Management
I would like to know if anyone has successfully implemented the complete suite of IdM. If yes, please share this experience. I want to clarify the definition of "successful integration". It should include the following:
- SSO for Partner applications
- SSO for External (third parties) applications
- Provisioning and Synchronization
- Delegated Administration
- WNA with Kerberos
- SAML implementation (optional)
I would appreciate all answers on this subjectTo restart from your initial question, it's quite strange because the components you mention are all included in the AS10g Enterprise Edition or in AS10g Portal, and are perfectly integrated. I know numerous customers which use Oracle Portal, for instance, and leverage on SSO (patner or external), Delegated Administration (DAS) , Synchro with AD server and Windows native authentication, without a single line of specific code. Provisioning is done automatically by DIP in the case of Portal with AD, as well, or with a Human resource system. Even the password synchro can be made betwwen AD and OID (Oracle LDAP)
Now, it's a sligthy different discussion if we consider the recent acquisitions made by Oracle, and which are sold in the so call : Oracle Identity management 10g.
OAM (previously Oblix) is a more ambitious product that Oracle SSO.
OIM (provisioning and identity management) is far more sophisticated than Oracle DIP.
The goal, for Oracle, is to unify the workflow engine and the Human interface (with ADF). This task is probably on the rails for the next year.
OVD (previously OctetSting) is an architectural component which allow virtualisation of LDAP server.
About Federation, OIF allow all existing Oracle Portal customer (using SSO) to rely on SAML tokens in order to trust partners site.
So, in my opinion, acquisitions oblige to make a substantial effort to unify human interface and make arbitration between some concepts, but it's within the Oracle means. -
Plans to Open Source Identity Manager
Hello all! Are there plans to open-source Identity Manager much as Sun has done for Access Manager (OpenSSO) and Federation Manager (OpenFM). :-)
Best,
--JohnIn next future, Identity Manager will be in open source. But, Access Manager, I don't have news.

RahatAll,
I could resolve the issue by applying the note Note 869852 - Central Note For UME Web Dynpro UIs , the part at page 4/11 :
5)trouble shooting
The second symptom matches our problem and was resolved using the solution b.
Please note if you dont define an account for the Run_as identity it will pickup any user in the Administrator group
I restarted the J2ee after the change.

How to get the user created when I prepare for the BD Identity Manager
Hi I have a query, I need to get a backup database Identity Manager 9.1, I have a problem I do not remember user created to perform the backup, how can you know that I created when I made the installation of Identity Manager, or how can I find
Hi,
You can do this trick:
1) Go to "Deployment Manager" in the Web Console, and open the EXPORT applet
2) Export the User Defined Fields from the USR form. You don't need any dependence for this.
3) Open the generated XML with a text editor.
3) Search for the <SDK_SCHEMA> tag
This tag contains the OIM schema name, wich shoud be your OIM database user.
Hope it helps, -
500 Internal Server Error in Identity Management in Portal
Hi all,
We have just upgraded our portal server to SP13 (2004s).
Post upgrade, I am getting an error in Identity Management.
When I search for a user, and try viewing his/her details, I get the following error.
500 Internal Server Error
Failed to process request. Please contact your system administrator.
The funny thing is, it works fine for some users and throws an error for some others.
Can anyone suggest what could be done to resolve this?
Regards,
PrekshaHi,
the error may due to duplicate entries of users.
go to logfile and check the users.
regards,
Sanjeevk
