Will all the ready-made test data be there as you follow same as the instructions in training manuals?

Hi all,
I am doing a IDES system copy. I ran the report SMIGR_CREATE_DLL , the export activities have been completed successfully as well on the source system. Now on the target system, during the import, I am getting the following error in the log file SAPDFACT.log.

error message returned by DbSl:
ORA-01408: such column list already indexed

The owner for this table is SAPSR3. Some oracle forums suggested to drop the index before recreating it. But when i do "drop index SAPSR3."/BI0/E0RSTT_C06~P..it says.."the specified index does not exist". But when I go to recreate this index, it doesn get created successfully. After that when I re-run the import, it again fails. Suprisingly..now if i go to check if this index is present thru a sql querry:
select owner, object_name, object_type from dba_objects where object_name='SAPSR3."/BI0/E0RSTT_C06~P"', it tells "no rows selected". This is happening everytime, I create an index, where it gets created successfully, and the import again fails with the same error in SAPDFACT.log.
I found an SAP note 885441 named..common errors during migration..although mine isnt a migration..my both source and destination are Red hat 64 bit platform.
The note 1st asks to download the latest R3load..which I did and extracted in the kernel directory of the source..then it also asked to edit the .TSK file..in my case..SAPDFACT.TSK..where the lines:
I /BIC/E<Cubename>~<index> C err
to I /BIC/E<Cubename>~<index> C ign..
I did that..this time..the import again fails..but in the SAPDFACT.log..it complains about some other index..n the same gets generated in the .TSK file as well..the earlier index error is not again generated.
I am not sure..what is going wrong..my export went through successfully.i have done the prep steps for export as well..before that i ran the SMIGR_CREATE_DLL report as well..

SAPUSER is locked in ECC 6.0 IDES SYSTEM

Hi Everyone,
I installed ECC 6.0 IDES SYSTEM, but the username SAPUSER is locked, I tried with various passwords but was not successfull. Is there any other way I can logon into it with this username or any other super username. Please help.

Hi techno guys,
I have deleted the usr02 from sql table, and managed to logged in by Sap* and Password pass,
But when I try to do something I am getting a sql error message that I do not have access or something like that,
From SU01 also I couldnt create a username or unlock because same error page is coming..
plz tell me do i need to do something after deleting that usr02 row from the table?

Unable to login to IDES system after client copy

Hi guys
the IDES system which i was using was working fine. I was trying CLient copy today morning and was trying to create a new client in the IDES system.
The client copy failed due to a shortdump in the process.
Now i am unable to login to the client 800 as it says the user password is incorrect.
How do i get back my 800 client? is there a way to get back the client 800 or do i have any other optionn to re-set the password without logging on to the client?
i do have access to client 000.
please guide me what should i do? i need the client 800 back and should be able to login too.

i cannot login to client 800. I need to login first in the client 800 to go to su01 to re-set the password.
I want to login to client 800 which i am unable to do as a result of client copy. So the other option i am looking at is reset the password from client 000.

You seem to use a VERY OLD MaxDB database software.
I suggest:
- Update your MaxDB to a recent release, the version you use is very old.
- Update your database statistics to make sure the access paths for the data is optimal
- check the database parameters against Note 814704 - MaxDB Version 7.6 parameter settings for OLTP/BW
If you still use the default settings that came with the installation then it's rather obvious why your system is so slow.

Hi,
There is something called UCES - Biller Direct where is there is an Interaction Between SAP Biller Direct and Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable.
Purpose:You should use SAP Biller Direct if you want to present information about customer accounts in your Internet portal and offer your customers the option of paying bills or of creating inquiries and complaints via the Internet.
Implementation Considerations : Your customer does not need to install any SAP software to be able to use SAP Biller Direct. All functions can be carried out using a standard Web browser.
Information on the necessary system requirements and the browsers supported by SAP Biller Direct can be found in the introductory sections of the installation guide.
SAP Biller Direct consists of an application based on JavaServer Pages. The accounting system runs on a standard application server and is used as the back end for SAP Biller Direct. The transfer of data between the front end and back end is done by RFC and is ensured using the SAP Java Connector (JCO), which you install as part of the SAP middleware.

Company data missed in SAP IDES system

Hi friends,
In our SAP IDES ECC 6.0 EHP 5 system some data had missed(some plants had missed) in 800 client, I checked 000 client here also no data..we don't have any backup. If I download the IDES from market place, then is it possible to get entire data of 000 & 800 clients. Could you please any one help me how to get our data back..

as i checked in IDES , facility to activate the addtional packages are there.
with transaction SFW5, i can select the required package and activate it.
but during this process system is giving some warning,

CL_ABAP_DATFM methods are not working in IDES system

i am trying to execute some date related methods, here example the method conv_date_ext_to_int which converts external date format to internal format.
this method is working properly in the client systems other than IDES system(client:800) , but not showing the class and methods in IDES system,
so i just want to know why it is not showing and working in IDES system, please reply me.

I will say it again - Roles in ABAP system appear as groups in portal.
Now, the task you are probably missing is to assign the portal role to the appropriate groups (ABAP roles) in your portal.
In your production portal - check the Portal Role to group (ABAP role) assignment and do the same in your DEV system.
You can go to user administration in portal and search for the group and look for assigned roles.

No Demo Management Cockpits in IDES system

Dear expert,
we installed IDES system for BW/SEM. In Management Cockpit design, we can see manay installed demo measures in Measure Display. However, in Management Cockpit Display, we can't see any installed management cockpits but a blank list. Someone can tell me why there is no demo management cockpit installed?

The user is a manager so assigned the role SAP_MANAGER_MSS_NWBC_3 . The substitution actually exist and i see it on the main page as shown above but wheni click on the Substitution overview i get the error message.
