  • I have been successfully sending out e-mails to all people listed in a Group Address but yesterday only some of the people received their mail. Today I split the list, 25 in each Group Address, again, the same people did not receive their e-mail. Why?

I have been successfully sending out e-mails each month to about 50 people whose addresses are listed under a Group Name. Yesterday about half of the e-mails were received, the other half weren't. So I tried splitting the group into 2 separate Groups, again the list who didn't receive the first mailing again did not receive the second mailing. There does not seem to be anything that connects the recipients or non-recipients. They have a mix of providers, it was not just the first half of list that was affected, it appears to be totally random.  Any suggestions?

Neither of these error message look like they're from Exchange.

Are those from NDRs someone in your organization received, or are they from NDRs received by a sender outside your organization?
Is 68.232.130.28 your IP address? The IP address resolves to the name esa2.firstam.iphmx.com. Is that a MX for the recipient's domain?

If you're not receiving the email to your rescue email address (and you've checked the spam folder on the account as well as the inbox and tried clicking the reset link again), then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

  • I purchased the Adobe Export pdf 10 hours ago and have not received the e-mail to confirm my address and password, then I can't use it!

I purchased the Adobe Export pdf 10 hours ago and have not received the e-mail to confirm my address and password, then I can't use it!
The e-mail address is correct and I've consulted the inbox and the  trashbox without result. And I don't know how to contact the seller Adobe...

    Hi Jose,
After checking your account, I see that you purchased an ExportPDF subscription back in June (under the same email address that you use here in the forums). There are no other subscriptions under that email address.
But, you should be able to log in to https://cloud.acrobat.com using this email address and your password. If not, please let us know.

  • Not receiving certain e-mails but can receive these e-mails on PC with Windows Mail

Not receiving certain e-mails on iPad but can receive these  e-mails on a P C with Windows Mail

Right-Click (or Ctrl-Click) on any mailbox and choose Get Info (you can also invoke this window by typing Command-I). Now, in the Account menu, choose the account that isn't working properly. Does Mail display all your messages there, even those that it fails to download?
If the answer is yes, don't close the Get Info window yet. I'm going to propose a solution that will cause all your mail still on the server to be re-downloaded again as if it was all new, no matter how old it is or whether Mail had already downloaded it. Hence, before proceeding, you may want to delete any messages still on the server that you don't want to be downloaded again. You can accomplish this in the Get Info window by selecting the messages you want to permanently delete from the server and clicking the Remove From Server button at the bottom right of the Get Info window.
    Now, follow these steps:
    1. Quit Mail.
    2. In the Finder, open the HOME/Library/Mail/POP-<account-name>/ folder.
    3. Move any files in that folder whose name starts with MessageUidsAlreadyDownloaded to the Trash.
These files keep track of which messages have already been downloaded, so that Mail does not download them again every time it connects to the server. Moving them out of the account folder causes Mail to forget that information and start downloading from scratch all over again.
For some reason, the information in these files can become inaccurate at some point for people with Comcast accounts. I'm not sure it is a file corruption problem. When these files are the problem, Comcast seems to always be involved. I wonder why your wife has not experienced the same problem, though. Maybe she just hasn't yet or maybe Eudora keeps track of downloaded messages using a different technique...

  • Why do I not receive iCloud e-mails when there is a specific group of "To:" addresses in the body of an e-mail

I noticed this when I started my iCloud e-mail account a few months ago. I am not receiving iCloud e-mails when there is a specific group of "To:" addresses in the body of an e-mail. I can receive the e-mail on my outlook & local cable providor e-mail accounts with all of the addresses listed. If I strip out the "To:" addresses and send it from my local cable providor e-mail account to my iCloud e-mail account than I will receive the e-mail in my iCloud account (minus all of the "To:" addresses that are in the body of the e-mail. This has caused me to miss a lot of e-mails.
Following is one of the e-mail that I can send from my cable providor account and not receive it in iCloud. If I strip out all of the "To:" addresses I will receive it in iCloud. I have a case open with Apple but it is not going anywhere. This occurs from multiple sending internet service providors (ISP's) so I think it's an Apple iCloud e-mail processing issue.

I've been having a very similar problem to what ziemsen describes, for about a week now. The Mail app has stopped delivering new messages to the Inbox, even though I can view the newly incoming messages on the server via Webmail. I am able to send email through Mail with this email account, and as for the other email accounts that I have on Mail (which are also hosted by the same server), I am able to both receive and send email with no problem.
None of the mail settings have been changed, so how this happened all of a sudden is very puzzling. I have checked Account Info on the problem account - Mail recognizes that there are messages that are on the server yet to be downloaded, but it won't download them.
I've checked what other users have suggested here in the Discussions Forum, and tried: 1) deleting the problem Mail account from Mail and re-adding it; 2) creating a new machine User account and setting up Mail with that User; 3) setting up Mail on another machine; 4) archiving and re-installing OS, and even 5) wiping the HD entirely and reinstalling the OS. None of these have worked.
Ernie, your suggestion of deleting the MessageUidsAlreadyDownloaded file sounded like the solution to the problem, so I just tried it - but to no avail. Mail delivers messages that are on the server to my Inbox up until the same point that it always stops at, and there are almost 1000 new messages since then.
I am pretty lost at this point - I have no idea what else I can possibly do to resolve this problem. The strange thing is, when I tested my email accounts on Microsoft Entourage and Mozilla Thunderbird, they don't have this problem - both deliver all of my incoming mail. I may have no choice but to switch to one or the other at this point, but I'm attached to Mail and would really like to continue using it if I can. Any advice would be much much appreciated.
    very best,
    biteringo

  • Why am I not receiving my AOL mail?

Why am I not receiving my AOL mail? I receive it on my phone and on other computers but not my iMac.

Go Mail - Preferences - Accounts and re-input all the settings for it even if they look OK. From time to time a setting can become corrupt, on the surface it looks fine but underneath it's not OK. If you re-input that will remove the old setting and input a new one and this frequently helps.

  • Not receiving all e-mail

I'm not sure what to do here. About 80% of the time my e-mail works on both my 8GB iPhone and 17" MacBook Pro both...and about the other 20% of the time i will receive the mail at either or, but not both...or sometimes not at all anywhere.
I have checked my settings everywhere, both on the computer, and on iPhone to make sure that i didn't have the e-mail settings set to delete e-mail from he the server right away....it was in fact set to keep the e-mail on the server on both iPhone and my MacBook...
So i'm confused as to why i am only receiving a portion of my e-mail in both spots, sometimes not receive it at all, or only receive it in one spot.
This is very frustrating. I have done numerous restores on the iPhone, and a clean install from a Time Machine backup on multiple occasions on my MacBook.
Also, i often times get intermittent connection issues when i plug in my iPhone to my computer....it often times recognizes it, begins to sync....then dis-connects, re-connects, dis-connects...etc...without being able to complete the sync.
Also there was 1 day that i couldn't get my computer to recognize my iPhone at all....neither one of the 3 USB ports would recognize it....i had done a restore previously, but even if i wanted to do it again for this particular instance...i couldn't get the iPhone to make that connection..
But i haven't experienced the "no connection" issue since, only periodic disconnects and reconnects...
My computer was in fairly recently to get the temperature sensors replaced because my computer was getting too hot...it still gets hot.
When i called Apple just the other day to complain about the intermittent connections, they said that it could be the Logic Board if the USB ports aren't recognizing it...because i also got a new USB cable swapped out along with a new Dock & AC adapter recently before that...so it's not the cables, and the iPhone has been replaced numerous times before for basically the same connection issues.
So being that the iPhone has been replaced, the USB cable has been replaced, and i have determined that it is not a software glitch by doing a full restore and clean install on my computer...it's leading me to believe that it is a hardware issue - and the only thing that hasn't been replaced is the computer.
Has anybody else been experiencing weird connection issues with iTunes, or e-mail problems on either their computer or iPhone? Thanks for the help!!
    Jason

Likely the issue is that on laptop you have the settings configured to remove downloaded messages from the server (which is typical).
I strongly recommend using IMAP accounts for email that you wish to manage on more than one device. Alleviates that issue.

  • Using osx 10.7.5 can send but not receive emails. Mail server support rep tried everything

Using iMac with OSX 10.7.5. Can send but not receive emails. No problem with internet account. Server rep tried everything and suggested perhaps a corrupted file in the op syst. Any ideas?

You may have a corrupt preference. Mail - Preferences - Accounts - click the offending account and re-enter all prefereneces. Also you can use Apple's OS X Mail: Troubleshooting sending and receiving email messages located at:

  • Not receiving emails in Mail on MBP, only on iPhone?

    Hello!
I used to receive my Gmail account emails on my mac book pro (2009 - running with Mac OS X 10.6.8) in Mail AND on my iPhone (5, with iOS7). When I'd read a message on one of my device, it would show up as read on the other but the email would still be available.
Lately though, I only receive my emails on my iPhone. I did not get anything in Mail on my MBP since the begining of November.
I can send emails but if I get a reply or a new incoming message, I will only get it on my iPhone.
I might have changed some settings without realizing, and that is why I need your help
If that helps, here are my preferences in Mail on my Macbook pro :
    and settings on my iPhone:
Let me know if there is anything I might need to add.
    Thank you

  • AIM mail suddenly not received by mac mail

    Hi-
I have been using my new AIM account on my Mac Mail for about 6 months now with few problems.
The other day Mail decided to not send out any of my AIM mail although it was able to receive them. This lasted for a day and a half and then corrected itself.
Last night Mail is not receiving any of the AIM mail, although it is able to send it out (although VERY slowly). It is still trying to receive mail but cannot as of this morning.
I have checked the Mail settings and they seem fine. Mail is still able to be sent and received without a problem on the AIM mail site.
How can I see if the problem is with Mail, AIM, or even just me?
    Thanks!

I discovered the problem. I had tried to send some photos that made a very large file. Mail tried and tried to send it but I finally stopped it. In the meantime it had copied the 44.1 M email 260 times! I deleted and emptied the trash and now all is well!
