IDisk full- but there is no actual content. Bug?

I've got a bit of a problem with my MobileMe iDisk account, as iWeb is saying that the disk is full, despite iWeb pages having little or no content. Has anyone elso noticed this?
Basically if I click on my header on the left of the window, which brings up the account information, the iDisk bar at the bottom of the screen is saying that the disk is full. I have several pages made ready for adding pictures to (empty pages), but the indicator is telling me that I have gone over my limit. Could it be that iWeb doesn't actually measure size on content, but instead how many pages have been created? If so, isn't that rather silly?
Bug perhaps? Anyone else noticed this?

Tom ~ In the upper right of this forum's main page is a +Search Forum+ bar. Enter the following into it:
"iDisk full" "iDisk is full"
Apple has a support doc about it: _MobileMe: "iDisk full" error_
And MobileMe live chat support is now 24/7 — see this announcement. Other Apple support options are here.

What is size of your Media Card ?
If this happening within Media Card then first do a Backup of your Media Card then format your Memory Card from within your Device Or using a PC. To format your Memory Card  from within your device Go to Options > Device > Storage > On that Screen Press the Menu Key > Hit on Format .
In addition be sure that you have enabled Media Card Support , Homescreen > Options > Device > Storage > Be sure that Media Card Support is Marked or Ticked .
Try it and see if that help.

My battery icon keeps saying that it is fully charged (or when it's connected to a power source that is it "Finishing Charge...") but when I unplug it, the time says it only has a few minutes left. I've tried restarting my computer, but that didn't work. I'm not really sure what's wrong with it. I've also let the battery die out and then try charging it, but that didn't work. Yeah, it was purchased in August 2008. I'm not really sure what a charge cycle is, but I do plug it in and unplug it a lot to a power source. Mainly because I keep my computer on most of the time (either on or on sleep). So between taking it to classes and stuff, I'll recharge in between and when it's really low, otherwise I run it off the battery most of the time.
On a sidenote, I have went to that information thing about about the battery after letting it sit plug in for a few hours, and now it has this information:

  • Macbook says disc is full, but there's no way that's possible.

    Hey there,
I have a MBP Retina, mid-2012, with 710GB of hard drive space.
Somehow, I only have 1GB left, although there is just no way that's possible!
MacKeeper says I'm only using 350GB, and my system profiler is reporting 373GB being used, with 333GB being reported as "other".
(I should note that I have partitioned my HD, so there's a seperate disc taking up 40GB that I only use for Windows).
Does anyone have any idea what "other" may be?
    Please help!

    MacKeeper says
Ugggh,  uninstall that program.  There are 1000 threads on this forum about that garbageware.

  • Partition is full, but theres plenty of space?

I have a 100GB partition dedicated to photographs,
When i show info on the partition, it says I've used 95GB.
But; the photography folder merely contains 20gb. The three other folders are a couple of megabytes each.
What's taking up all the space?
    Macbook Pro, early 2011
    750gb 5200rpm
    8gb ram

    Have you emptied trash?
Download OmniDiskSweeper (free) from the Internet and open it to scan that partition.  It should show you exactly what files you have on that partition and the respective sizes.
    Ciao.

  • With 80GB iPod, music occupies 30 GB and other occupies 43GB but there is no "other content when I enable it as a hard disc and searched

this makes my ipod capacity less. what should i do?
    thanks

"Other" is stuff that the iPod can no longer recognise.
The solution its to Restore your iPod, using iTunes. Connect the iPod to iTunes and look on the iPod/Summary pane for the Restore button.
Note that a Restore will remove all the content from your iPod and put back only what is in your iTunes Library.

  • Can't sync iphone to itunes; says not enough space but it's double counting content on phone and same content in itunes

My iphone is pretty full but there is still some space.
I tried to sync to update it from itunes and it says it needs 9 more gigs of space to sync, which is ridiculous and wrong.  I deleted a ton of content in itunes on my computer and it still says it needs 8 gigs.
So I looked at the content that itunes on my computer says is on my phone - it only sees 2 songs, the last two I downloaded and synced. It doesn't see the rest of the 700 as being on my phone.
I think for some reason the itunes in my computer is not recognizing the identical content on the phone as already downloaded and it thinks it still needs to download all the content from my computer to the phone - thus double counting as it sees that the phone is almost full but isn't recognizing 99% of the itunes content is already on the phone.
Not sure how to get out of this do-loop.  I'd hate to erase the content on my phone and start over in case it still won't sync.  At least now I have the vast majority of the content I want on the phone on it.

Had same problem. Then I played a purchased song (on my iMac), connected by iPhone and ran a sync, go same message about 27 songs (in my case) not authorized for download, all of which were purchased songs. then went back and went to iTunes store and tried to log in. Then it asked me from my password which rang a bell!!! I'd changed my password last week. Entered new password and voila!! problem solved!

  • My Nano says it's full, but nothing is showing up!

I have ITunes installed and my library is half full. When I plug my Ipod in it says that my IPod is full, but there is nothing stored in My Music files or on my IPod. When I check my IPod settings, it is saying that I am using more than half of my memory, but 0 songs, and 0 pics. Does anyone know what I should do?

I am having the exact same problem!! I even took my nano to the Apple store yesterday, and the "genius" who helped me had no idea what to do. He erased the nano's drive in hopes that it would work, but my iTunes still says that the nano is updated with all songs when there are, in fact, no songs on the nano.
If I can't figure this out on my own, I'm taking the nano back today.
    Please help!

  • Why does my Mac say my hard drive is full, but that's not true?

Why does my Mac say my hard drive is full, but there should be plenty of space on it?

You need to get a program like OmniDiskSweeper,  it will check your drive and see what is taking up the space.  From there you can decide what to do.

  • HT1338 I try to buy songs itunes but there is a message stating that my disk is full and to empty out the trash can. But i don't know what disk it speaks of?

I try to buy songs itunes but there is a message stating that my disk is full and to empty out the trash can. But i don't know what disk it speaks of?

The "disk" is your startup volume, which is usually called "Macintosh HD" (unless you changed it).  Your iTunes media files (such as song files), and basically everything else, are stored on that volume (unless you changed it).
You should create some free space as soon as possible, because the system (OS) and applications use free space to write temporary files as part of normal operations.  If there is very little free space available, your system may start to bog down and feel slow because it's not running efficiently.
You can empty whatever is currently in the Trash by doing a click-hold (or right-click) on the "waste basket" icon in the Dock, and selecting Empty Trash.  A good place to look for files you may no longer need is your Downloads folder.  There is usually a link to your Downloads folder in the sidebar of a Finder window.  (The folder itself is located in your user home folder.)
You can see how much free space you currently have by selecting Macintosh HD on your Desktop (or in the sidebar of a Finder window), and selecting Get Info from the File menu.  You can also right-click on it and select Get Info from the menu that comes up (or hit Cmd-I on keyboard).  The Info window shows Capacity and Available for the volume.  Available is the free space.  It would be best to keep Available at least 10% of Capacity; getting it to 20% or more would be better.
If you can't free up enough free space by deleting things you do not need anymore, you should get an external hard drive and save some your files there.  That's actually how I run my iMac; most of my user files are stored on external USB and FireWire drives.

  • When I check the content in a test server I get this: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain and the option to accept, but in a iframe I get the same error but theres not op

I work in an international company and we have a server farm with 54 servers, so I need check content in all of them for 118 countries, I created a little application to do this and the problem is this:
When I check the url in the main window I get: "Error: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain" but there is "add exception" option and the problem ends there. But my application loads the pages within an iframe and when I try to load them the error appears but there is not any option to continue.
Could you tell me please which option of the configuration (about:config) I should change to avoid this, because adding an certificate for every country for every server (6372 certificates) it's not an option for me.
*Note: The error appears because the dns of such servers have several subdomains and the certificate is not valid for the resultant url.

Facebook uses such servers to store additional content media files and maybe CSS and JavaScript files.
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
*Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
    *Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
    *Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
