IDisk: "I'm mad as **** and..."
Having had no issues at all with my idisk I have always felt safe to use it as the go-to place to store my much loved documents. I store academic work there, etc. Then suddenly last week (on an aeroplane on the way to my holiday) I find that idisk icon disappears from my desktop. "What the *****?", I think. The problem is that not only does it disappear, but that I haven't synced it to the cloud for around two months. I have done much productive work in two months and now all of it is lost. I don't know the exact cause or under which section to post this, but it looks like that without time machine and without the cloud that perhaps upgrading to Lion has caused this to have an unstable home on my hardrive. Everything is fine on my computer, apart from idisk disappearing. Now I am back from holiday, I am syncing back from the cloud but with around two months of lost info (around 3 gigabytes). I had been working on an essay and thankfully I had emailed it to a colleague. Apart from that I have lost much recent work and inherent trust in this function. Sure it's safe in the cloud but if the OS can spontaneously delete a virtural disk-drive then where can you place your trust.
I cannot take it anymore with Idisk and am going to have to start thinking of other storage options...

iDisk is going away, so you would need to find another solution in any case. I've used Dropbox with good success, but there are a number of such services available, so someone else here may have an alternate suggestion.

Hi - I'm a vid beginner, actually have a training session tomorrow at an App Store, but for now...what's the easiest way to cut out about 20 seconds (in the middle) of a minute plus vid that i made on and downloaded from my iPhone 6? I I'mported the clip to iPhoto on my new Macbook pro. The TRIM function in iPhoto seems only to want to let me cut from either end. I guess if I do cut out a section in the middle, maybe 'glueing' the sections back together is too much for iPhoto to handle (?). I spent about 10 minutes just trying to (unsuccessfully) import to iMovie, so that aint working either. Quicktime maybe? Thx for reading

Trim unwanted frames from a clip
1. In the timeline, select the range of frames you want to keep in the clip.
2. Control-click the clip, and choose Trim Selection from the shortcut menu.
The clip is trimmed to the boundaries of the selection.

I want to know how to turn a word document into a jpeg so I can put the document on Facebook as a picture. I have made posters and if I do a print screen they are unable to be read, or if i turn it into a PDF there is no save as jpeg??

Material requirment date to be made mandetor and default

We are gernerating PR for stock material through CJ20N. When i m attaching a material component, its requirment date comes from activity date, i don t want that, I want that PR requirment date should be made mandatory and by defalult blank,
How can i do this?

As for as I know, That's the standard behavior of the system.
What you can do is, configure in SPRO that your PR should be triggered only when you release the n/w or project.
And release the n/w only when you really need that material.

RegardsWhat type of reset were you doing, a soft reset via the home and sleep buttons, or a reset back to factory defaults ? Have you tried another soft reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Tecra A6-EZ6411 - Video picture is squished and made black and white
After a recent update to Windows 7 I am having an issue with viewing pictures in Windows picture viewer and watching netflix videos. I can watch and file on my computer without issue. I can also view a picture in paint.net or any other picture viewing program. I can watch Hulu or any other cable company site without problem. What happens is the picture is squished and made black and white.
So the first thing I tried was uninstalling silverlight and then reinstalling. The next thing I tried was booting into base mode, uninstalling all nvidia drivers then reinstalling the latest driver available. Neither of those fixed those problems. Weird thing is when I first boot into base mode and the resolution is 640X480 the pictures look normal in Windows picture viewer and when I try to watch a video on netflix it looks normal. Only when I change the resolution to anything else does it revert back to the old diplay of a shrunk black and white view.Install Win7 again, disable automatic Win7 updates and every time when you get message about available updates install important updates only. Before you start update installation check the list and be sure nothing strange will be installed.
My notebook also has NVIDIA graphic card. I still use original recovery image with Toshiba driver and everything works well. -

First, I presume you're buying for yourself, not gifts for others, correct? Gifts cannot be purchased using a credit balance. If you are buying for yourself, another user in the forums posted this as the reply from the iTunes Store when this issue was brought up. Perhaps it will help you. Regards.
I'm sorry you weren't able to make a purchase using your store credit. To purchase items on the iTunes Store with your store credit, your account information in your user profile needs to be corrected. I'll walk you through this process to get you back up and running in no time.
1) Visit the My Apple ID website at: http://appleid.apple.com
2) If the site is not displayed in your preferred language, click the Change Language link in the upper-right corner, type the name of your language in the field that appears, then click the Save button.
3) Click the "Manage your account" link.
4) Type your iTunes Store account name (which is your Apple ID) in the Apple ID field, type your password in the password field, then click the Sign In button.
5) Click "Addresses" in the column on the left. If you have multiple shipping addresses, remove any out-of-date or duplicate addresses by clicking Delete. Also, make sure the state or province field is filled out correctly for each address. To edit an address, click Edit. Edit all of your shipping addresses and make sure the appropriate state is selected in the State drop-down menus.
6) Now click "Phone Numbers" on the left. The area codes should be in the area code fields and the phone numbers should be in the phone number fields. If an area code is missing, or if it is in a phone number field, your account information may not save properly.
7) Make any other necessary corrections, then click the Save Changes button.
8) Click Log out in the upper-right corner. When you make your next purchase on the iTunes Store, you will be asked to review your billing information. At this point, you can change your information or simply click Done at the bottom of the screen to proceed. Once you click Done, you should be able to purchase on the iTunes Store using your store credit. -

...... and this is designed this way.
A deletion is just part of the life cycle of a purchase order, and it is just a required step in the preparation for archiving.
So you cannot prevent it except by a user exit, but this one will as well stop you from archiving later on, (except you code it in a way that you allow deletion if it is carried out by traxaction e.g. SARA ) -

I have downloaded three "ready-made" websites for me and it is supposed to have Wordpress in as well. I can see the folders in my downloads but I can't open them. It refers to a "zip" file which I don't see nor a "dmg", only a blue folder. Can anyone help me to figure out how to get this open and set up on my computer? I guess you can tell I'm new and very frustrated. Thank you!It's not clear what you mean by 'see the folders in my downloads but I can't open them', although it seems possible that a zip file opened/unzipped to create them.
Perhaps if you include a screenshot, and/or a link to the site where you got these, and describe exactly what happens when you try to open a folder that won't open. -
Pre-Made Effects and Color Change
When I add a pre-made effect to type. How do I change the effects color? The effect Im trying to use is the underwater one. It always stays this ugly blue tint, and I need the effect to be green. Ive tried changing it in the attributes window, but it only effects the text minus the underwater effect.
Actually David, I did mean the Style tab.
You see, either way, you have to select each keyframe and then make the color change to make this fix. But instead of going to the Effects tab and having to select the ShadColor parameter each time you select a different keyframe (and then selecting a new color and confirming), you can just leave the Shadow tab open on the Style menu, select the color swatch there and pick the color you want for each key. Doing it in the Style tab saves you a few clicks each time.
About the only time I use the Effects panel is when entering parameters that don't have an interface component (such as Accelerate) or to get a quick view of what parameters are being animated.

Copied an existing Oracle 6i Form and made change and problems when compiling.
I copied an existing Oracle 6i Form and made numerous changes to the form. The biggest change I made was taking on of the existing data blocks and I renamed it and also removed some of the items within the data block. After the additional changes to the form to make it look like I wanted it to, I tried to compile the form.
When trying to compile the form I received an error that it could not resolve item reference. The item it is talking about was one within the data block that we renamed and hence after renaming the data block we removed this item.
I have check via search for sql and plsql code to see if I could find this item it was referencing, no luck.
Does anyone have and idea of where this item may exist so we can remove it.
Please let me know.Could it be one of the properties on another item that is referencing the missing item? e.g. the Synchronize with Item property.
