IDisk is what i get, WHY not iCloud ??????

Hi All, i open up both Pages and Numbers on my iPhone, i wanted to see what files i had in iCloud !, i select to add file, thinking i would be presented with a list of available files !.
amazingly i didnt a choice to look on my iCloud, i was bluntly told that iDisk is discontinued, i dont think anybody, especially me keeps documents in iTunes, and Web DAV is way above my head.
So why on earth doesnt Pages or Numbers let me open my files on iCloud, i thought that is what this kind of APP was for !!!!!.
I was seriously considering getting KeyNote, but NOT now !!!!

I had the same issue and just solved it -yes, my iCloud was also turned on in iPad [iPhone] settings, and I still just got "iDisk" etc -But I also thought to go to iWork/Numbers-specific settings and turn "use iCloud" ON -That did the trick.
Unfortunately it automatically uploads all iWork/Numbers documents [you may see an up-arrow top right when you go back into Numbers, etc, while they upload] but you can then go to iCloud.com on your desktop and chose which to download. You don't need to choose "print and share" -as long as you have an internet connection, they will all just upload.

Whatever answer will be given: Use a Limiter when doing a mixdown and exporting. Going over 0db is never a good idea with digital equipment.

Arabic is not one of the supported languages for the iPod.
The supported languages are:
Languages: Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Swedish, Traditional Chinese and Turkish
Additional language support for display of song, album and artist information: Bulgarian, Croatian, Romanian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian and Ukrainian

I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. Sir, your Apple ID can be used as an iCloud account as well. They are both the same thing.

Because your operating system is too old. iCloud was introduced in Mac OS X 10.7.4 and later. You can upgrade through the Mac App Store. The latest version is Mac OS X 10.9.3 and is free if your Mac is capable of running it (late 2007 IMac's and newer).

Put in a request for another verification e-mail to be sent to you.
Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
Also check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you.

Actually, everyone missed one point, when a device is priced, the cost of icloud storage space for that device is also included in it that is why they are able to give you 5gb each for each user ID, in nutshell there is nothing free coming with apple device purchase, it is paid for. What they are trying by giving only 5gb per user ID irrespective of the number of devices used is pure broadlight looting, they take money from you when you buy each device and give you nothing, This is a case of goods and services bought but not fully deliverd ie apple can be suied for discreminatory treatment towards it's users. I wonder why no one tried this yet in America where everyone sue everyone for petty things..... there is no one to take up this issue? . if tim got any love for the guys who shell out money for the devices his company makes, he should be implimenting this as priority before someone wake up from sleep and sue him.

Why is icloud not listed in my updated macbook pro's systems preferences, there is mobileme instead?

I use a Samsung Android, two mac book pros, a large desktop mac, a Kindle Fire, and recently bought a preowned iphone 5; want to synch it with my mac book pro. I have an icloud email but nothing from my macbook is connected with it except maybe itunes. icloud is not the way I sign on when pening my personal macbook. But the only id I could use to get into the iphone was my icloud id. I want to get "Everything" together but when attempting to set up icloud in my personal macbk at system pref.s there is no icloud listed only the ancient "Mobilme" . I have done all the updates, why is icloud not in there and what can I do to set it up?

If you are seeing mobile me, then you are running 10.6.8 or earlier. iCloud came out in 10.7. So your device "may" be updated as far as it can, but it is not far enough to use iCloud. You can try to upgrade to 10.10 (which is free), or if your system is not capable, you may have to pay for lion or mountain lion.

Just to be clear - what are you signing into? You could be talking about connecting or setting a computer or device to your icloud or itunes account. You could be talking about logging into your icloud account using a browser to icloud.com. Or you may have followed a link to an Apple page that lets you edit your account.
If you can't remember your security questions/answers then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Security' and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within about 24 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox) - but some recent posts are saying that Apple have temporarily suspended the reseting of security question/answers whilst account security processes are improved, so it may take longer.

Why does iCloud not like Ed Sheeran and why is iTunes a liar?

So like everyone on here I'm sure, you've downloaded iOS 7. I had some difficulty but have it on my phone now and even through my cracked screen it's beautiful. BUT
Before I updated my iPhone, i installed the latest version of iTunes on my Macbook Pro. My first problem is after both devices were updated, my iTunes is saying it cannot connect to my iPhone because it doesn't have the latest version. I've quit and restarted iTunes and have restarted my macbook a couple of times but I keep getting that error message.
So that's my first problem.
The other problem is friggin iCloud on my iPhone! Most of my purchased music downloaded on there no problem. I didn't mind when it came to most of my music because i haven't listened to most of it. But it won't download Ed Sheeran's album which I listen to quite often lately. Soooo this is most definitely a problem.
I really hope someone can help me on here because I am NOT paying $19 for tech support. Thanks!!!

It is not Mac to Mac.
Why not look up iCloud support, it was never offered as anything outside iOS 5 supported devices.

I can login on website icloud.com but can not login into iCloud application installed on pc. What's wrong?
I have tried another free apple ID and logged on. That's funny when I can login with free account and can not login with paid mobileme account!!!!!!

By the way - the only reason I downloaded iCloud is because Apple deleted the backup option from iTunes. Since iCloud doesn't work, I guess we have no way to protect our iTunes music collection. Absolutely stupid.
